Now the name of the finale here is Liverpool - Newcastle. The final game is going to be played on March 16th. I think this is going to be the first trophy going for Arne Slot.  

Interesting. This season Liverpool dominates all competitions, it's because they have a good coach, good players, and good teamwork. Although Liverpool lost 0-1 in the first leg, but then in the second leg Liverpool beat Spurs 4-0 at Anfield. Liverpool this season is so on fire, all their players play well. Gakpo is always sharp in the front line, Bradley is promising. Such a dominant appearance, if you look at Liverpool's performance which is on fire like this Newcastle will lose in the final match later.

The thing is that this season is just filled with lots of suprises because most of the teams I even expected to perform well didn't  live up to expectation and it's now teams like Nottingham forest and Bournemouth that have done exceedingly well above their standard and am still in doubt of how these team managed this feat but it just shows how there are no little teams in the premier league anymore.

I see Arsenal's defeat in the match against Newcastle as Newcastle's greatness and of course it is proof that we cannot underestimate the teams in the Premier League. The proof is that Newcastle can win with a good score and that score is quite convincing that Newcastle is a strong team and of course there is still hope in the future to perform better than now.

However, now in this Carabao Cup, Newcastle is a good team because they can qualify for the final and they will of course have the potential to become 1st or 2nd place and they will definitely play against Liverpool in the final, yes of course I see Liverpool winning the trophy in that match. But even if, for example, Newcastle lost the match, it would certainly not be a bad thing because winning 2nd place in the Carabao Cup would also be very encouraging. but yes, I hope that in the final match there will be fierce competition so that the match will be more exciting.

I didn't have a doubt that Liverpool were going to win yesterday and infact when I saw the stats, I concluded there and then who was going to meet Newcastle in the finals. It's clear enough that Tottenham do not really have anything big they are targeting other than remaining in the league because it's in competitions like this you try to put effort to see if you can at least get a trophy but they played so awfully yesterday I began questioning myself whether this were the same team that struggled to remove Man UTD, knowing fully how important the Red Devils take competitions like this.
 It will be a tough final between Newcastle and Liverpool and I'm not willing to overlook the trouble the magpies may cause for Arne's men but then again, Newcastle can't be reliable at times and Liverpool will be looking to win a trophy for Arne Slot as a way to encourage the guy and boost team morale.
To think of it though, what if Liverpool wins the Carabao and forfeit the EPL title? Will it be worth it? Although there's no guarantee yet that they will be the ones lifting it but with how things are going, they stand a chance more than the other competing clubs. So what it's going to be?

Surprise that occurred was not without reason because indeed some favorite team had problems such as their players who should have been able to strengthen the main squad had to be absent and things like this make the football season in League more interesting with the improvement of several lower team.
Moreover, the Premier League will be difficult to win or just compete for the runner-up, unstable teams will be able to perform well in other competitions such as the EFL or FA Cup and everything has always been proven almost every season and if we talk about heartache Manchester City much more disappointing because they were previously the defending champions but look now at how they compete with some difficulties.

Liverpool might get both.
The competition in the Premier League is still undecided because Arsenal is still chasing the points difference with Liverpool. Liverpool is in the best position this season to grab both English Premier League title and EFL Carabao Cup title too.
Newcastle is in no way better than them and since it will be the final match, Liverpool will try their best to get the title. They will play better than any ordinary game to get it, especially that they are in a comfortable place in English Premier League, so no need to worry about their games there.
Unfortunately for them, they lost the FA Cup game against weak team, otherwise they would be in a better position to collect the 3 titles!

I am still confident that Liverpool can make it although their very busy and exhausting schedule and even though they aren't doing great lately. A final match has its specificity and I highly doubt that Liverpool will miss an affordable title.

It is final, it is not semi final or any other round. For a big team to reach the final, it was hard, not for them not to win the cup. Liverpool's performances may seem to have dropped currently, but I still have more confidence in them than in Newcastle. Newcastle may try, but I can't say they have as high a chance of winning the cup as Liverpool.Even Newcastle are not in great form. Newcastle's form has also dropped, but all I know about this match is that it is not going to be an easy one for Liverpool. They really need to put in more effort in this upcoming final to achieve that.

Newcastle has reached the final of the Carabao Cup twice in the last three seasons. Newcastle played against Manchester United three seasons ago, but they failed to win it despite being in great form that year. Already is quite sating that Liverpool is the favorite team for the EFL Carabao Cup this season. Why past performance don't often determine future results, I agree with you that Liverpool will most likely emerge as the winner of carabao cup. I know Newcastle need a win more than ever but I do think that Arne slot wouldn't want to miss the chance to win his first trophy as a Liverpool manager and after what happened at the FA Cup, I'm sure he'd want his team to win it.
