I'm only pissed that I didn't have the opportunity to bet on this game even though I knew it was a likely event. I have a hunch that the EFL finals will likely between Arsenal and Manchester City and whoever wins might also dictate who goes on to win the league.

I'm going to watch this one especially for the sake of BSFL. I'm supporting Chelsea in this match but I know how hard their job will be. Still their second half performance against Manchester City looked promising. Maybe they can even win this one.

I'm concerned how i will be able to makeup watching this game, there is an AFCON semi final between my country and the host country, the both matches are set to begin the same time, which am i dropping for the other.

Since the EFL Cup has two legs to be played, i look forward to the outcome, while i watch live the AFCON semi final. I don't know what the new Chelsea coach will be upto in the game, how is he going to hold down Arsenal at least a draw or win since it is home played.

You can always watch highlights of the EFL first leg between Arsenal and Chelsea. More often than not, the second leg of fixtures like this are even more entertaining than the first ones so try not to miss that. It's unless not interesting if one team wins the first round and goes into full on defense in the return leg.

The match may likely end in draw so I will advise you to watch the AFCON, however, I’m expecting Arsenal to win the match because they are more informed than Chelsea the match will be a very interesting match to watch and how I wish it is a different time and not same time with the Nigeria match, I will bet on the match and my prediction, and bet will be for Arsenal to win the match. I am not surprised at the outcome of the game because I would never expect Newcastle to beat Manchester city in such a crucial game. Manchester city has really become stronger now with the arrival of Semenyo in the team, a good finisher and a prolific scorer. Pep Guardiola is a strategic manager and one of the best in capitalising on the opponents weaknesses to win a game. Newcastle wasted all their chances in the first half while Manchester city was focused in studying their performance.

Semenyo has registered another goal and I think that his arrival is reducing the number of balls going into the 18 yard box for Erling Haaland of which Haaland will now understand that he must have to work for his balls. Semenyo is a dribbler and a master in creating chances. His arrival would affect Haaland's statistics for the remaining season and I'm already seeing it.

It is  Only Arsenal that haven't won something in a while.  It was only last season that Manchester city didn't win anything. Going one season without a trophy is much better than Arsenal that have stayed up to five seasons or more without winning any trophy. Although I would love to see Arsenal progress to the final, but they have to win against Chelsea. Manchester city place in the final is not yet guaranteed as they will play a second leg against Newcastle at Etihad and anything can happen, this is a game of football we have seen many comebacks before, but am hoping city will see off any threat that Newcastle might pose in the second leg.

Manchester city won in the end. Ryan Cherki in the second half scored the decisive goal in the stoppage time that sealed manchester city victory against Newcastle in the EPL. Newcastle would face Manchester city in the second leg at Etihad. I believe Manchester city will likely defeat Newcastle because they are at home and it will motivate them to play better. Despite the mistakes made by Wissa and Woltemade, Manchester City's victory at St. James' Park was well deserved, even though Newcastle will try to get revenge in the second leg at the Etihad Stadium, although that is highly unlikely. Manchester City's victory was in no small part due to Trafford's outstanding performance.

Chelsea is a tough opponent for Arsenal. We are aware that Chelsea will not take this tournament lightly, as they are already in the semifinals.

The most boring match turned into a more interesting one in the 2nd half. Not only Manchester City but also Newcastle started to play more decently in the end.

Two goals at St james are enough to justify City to win the second leg at home. They have everyone ready at this moment. So no doubt to bet on them again in the 2nd leg. They have Doku, Haaland and Semenyo. It's gonna damn difficult to predict their gameplay. I'm fully rooting on them again in the second leg.

As for Chelsea vs Arsenal, it feels like Arsenal is in favor consider Chelsea came with a new manager. However, it's gonna be difficult since Chelsea comes with a new pattern. So it may force Arteta to adjust his strategy again. It seems the game is gonna end with 2-1 Arsenal win.

Manchester City really played well last night, which we all expected, and they won the game. Even in the next game, I don’t think Newcastle will be able to do anything against them because if they played this poorly in the first leg, which was their home game, then I don’t think they will be able to do anything better in the second leg, which will be an away game for Newcastle.

Yeah, it was quite a hard luck for Newcastle united yesterday they had a great opportunity to get a draw against Manchester city, but all the chances were totally waisted. It was an incredible performance from Semenyo because it's not easy to play first match for a team and start scoring goal, this has really shown that he would help Manchester city achieve a better result this season because as is stance now they are just waiting for Arsenal or Chelsea in the final. Which for sure we don't know the winner yet, but I'm pretty sure that bettors would like to go with Arsenal in this match due to Chelsea inconsistency.
