First of all gambling isn't a source of income it would be a very wrong approach to try to use it as a way out of the economic situation because it would only cause more harm than good. Gambling should be done for fun and should be done passively, thinking of using it as way to sustain yourself and family is just too risky. Don't stress about it, the fact is there is not good paying job in the country, so even if these people get a job one way or the other the payment won't be satisfying, that's because of high cost on foods and bills, as crazy as it may sound, jobs might not be the solution that these people crave for.

That's why some turned into criminals, if they are caught they can get killed and they don't care but not all of them, some plan to always take a lucky shot at gambling maybe they can hit a sufficient amount to start a business or something better, I don't buy the idea of over spending your time in a casino but people are really facing a lot.

Either one is poor or classified as mid, you need to apply knowledge into everything you are doing, if these people understand what gambling really is they will lower the time they will spent at those betting outlets, the lesser time you spent on gambling the better.

The mindset of making "easy money" via gambling without putting any effort and hard work is going to backfire at some point.
The lack of financial stability and the lack of a better future would lead to mental and physical health issues. The situation is the same in my country too. Almost everyone is betting or playing slots and if you don't follow them, they look at you like an alien but recently a new law passed in my country that prohibits people under the age of 25 from gambling.
Don't get me wrong, I love gambling and I gamble myself for years but I know when to start and when to stop, I am not addicted and I don't expect to earn a fortune by gambling. I gamble because I get fun, excitement and enjoy the process. My gambling has never affected my budget. I only lose what I can afford to lose.

I have a friend that has argued with me in the past that he can make money from gambling. He later regretted it after he lost huge amount of money that his father kept with him. And that was not the only loss. He has been losing before that time. Gambling sites is for fun. The site set everything that gamblers are enjoying. Commonly, I'm  very tolerant to everyone who is betting and playing inside the gambling shop but if truth were told  I don't see any risk potential that could help to survive at harsh economic situation in any country, Nigeria including. The thing there is that, gambling in most part of the world most especially the poor countries is taken as a part time job and reason is that, those from such countries earns way below the minimum wage of many developed countries so they own minimum wage is somewhat not enough to take care of their basic needs.

Yes, that's true, as both of you are right and I agreed to what you guys said hundred percent, regarding your view about gambling and what likely to be the best approach for it. Because though virtual bet has been the most commonly played bet among gamblers all around the nocks and cranny in Nigeria, the truth of the fact is that it has never always been that easy to win it, as it's outcome all always a product of random algorithm, of which though many have won huge while gambling using virtual bets, let's gamblers not put all hope in it, since winning is never always assured.
