Why not collect it. It is just a bonus and it will not take anything from you. But if you do not want to gamble or have time to gamble, you can just overlook it. If I am gambling on a site and I am given such a bonus, I will only be expecting that if I lose my money, I will be given some percentage of the amount lost back. But what the OP is complaining about is that the gambling site did not specify that it is cashback and he thought it was deposit bonus. If you actually read the ToS correctly and they didn't mention that a specific amount must be wagered and losed, the  you can just stake with little amount in a game that you will experience loses.

That's a poor way of doing business. You don't have to make it obvious that you are indirectly taking back the money from the gamblers. I know they ought to make money but isn't the money gamblers lose enough for them? When we calculate how much has been lost in a bet it's enough for the casino to tap into those funds and pay the tax for each to their government. What a nice advise, i always made mention that it is very important that we look well into the conditions attached on every offer they are giving us before we apply, most especially on their ToS, we shouldn't be enticed alone, but we must know what's in there for us as well as the conditions attached before we give on for submission, as part of paying negligence to things like this, we have seen a number of gamblers complaining scam on casinos without knowing they are the one actually at fault.

The requirements casinos use to place this advert is quite a unique one. It contains several compulsory things to do that must benefit the casino more compared to the user. My friend fell for a casino advert, I dont want to mention the name. But he was given free $10 to bet in the casino. After betting in the casino with the $10 he won $16 but was only allowed to withdraw $6 leaving the $10 in the casino.

I see what you mean. The fault was purely that of the casino. I think there was a miscommunication between whoever sent the email to the OP that he had a deposit bonus and the person who was responsible for awarding the bonus on the account of the OP. To your first question, like I already wrote, cashback is like giving money from the right hand and collecting back from the left. Even if it is a bonus, it is too stringent and unfair. It is even a bigger trigger for those who are addicted to fuel their addiction and continue for a long time trying to get their cash back from a hopeful win.
