This is bad and this is sad, I can feel your pain because $1000 isn't a joke. Rules are rules and this is something that they will really be trying out to say once you do need some explanations. I have also made mistakes like this.
but after I contacted customer care available on the gambling site, and told them what really happened.
they were able to help well, and allowed or provided access to withdraw my excess gambling funds even though my status was still new to registering on the site.

The support can't help you because they're too trying to protect their casino business from investigation and accusations of being fraudulent from the federal government. Many people use this strategy for money laundering and the casino are trying to avoiding this so this is the reason behind their rule of wagering something closer to the amount that you deposited before you can withdraw it or sometimes you're being asked to wager 100% of your deposit. I am million percent sure that they will copy/paste him  sentence or clause from ToS and will close the ticket. Thats his life lesson and he should learn it fully. I'm not really sure if you have experience in gambling because that's not gambling works in crypto or in any fiat base casinos.
