You forgot the biggest star of them all: Thomas Gravesen
That team had plenty of attacking power but a bad defense and they didn't win much. Gravesen was the only real defensive-minded midfielder in the team. They had just gotten rid of Gerimi and Makelele. You might remember that some of those star players used to play out of position. Because Figo was on the right wing, Beckham used to play as a defensive midfielder. That was just bad.
