People can invest as much as they can according to their ability and again if someone's ability is limited, they can use the DCA strategy as much as they want within their ability, even if it is a small amount, they can continue to save it continuously and over time that holding will become large,

It is important for investors to develop a proper plan to move forward with long-term patience, financial stability is most important, in this case, you should increase your work limit to move forward financially because it requires hard work to earn extra money. Along with investing, building an emergency fund is effective, it keeps the investment intact, but in such a situation where cash is desperately needed and it can exceed your emergency fund limit, then you can understand the benefits of earning extra money by working hard from your current time, so it is important to have high work or multiple incomes in order to earn extra money.
The amount they invest isn't the primary requirement for investing rather, consistency is essential. This is especially true nowadays, where many beginners sometimes feel shy so when they intend to invest they end up not investing with the relatively small amount they have because of the small amount.

This is one of the things they don't need to have rather, they need to have knowledge about or basic methods for starting investing, which ultimately encourages them to invest even with a small amount. This is because they already have basic knowledge about how or strategies to start investing. Their ability to have discretionary funds is when they have sufficient funds to meet their needs so they should invest any remaining funds. Many who have accumulated substantial assets are essentially on the same journey as beginners, and beginners can follow the journey of those who have long-standing Bitcoin investors with the sole condition being to remain consistent even with small amounts.

It is important for investors to develop a proper plan to move forward with long-term patience. Financial stability is paramount. In this case, you should increase your work limit to move forward financially because it requires hard work to earn extra money. Along with investing, building an emergency fund is effective it keeps your investments intact. However, in situations where cash is urgently needed and it can exceed your emergency fund limit, you can understand the benefits of earning extra money by working hard from your current time. Therefore, it is important to have a high-paying job or multiple incomes in order to earn extra money.

Yes.  In bitcoin, a timeline that is below 4 years is trading.  4-10 years is short term, and more than 10 years is more or less long term.
Most guys here, especially beginners and especially those who have not already been in bitcoin for 4-ish years or more, should not be fucking around with trying to invest in bitcoin for less than 10 years unless they have age and/or health issues that do not allow them to invest  in bitcoin.

Sure there could be some other reasons besides age/health, yet I doubt it.
I'm happy i checked this thread today, cause you just cleared me on something I've been getting wrong for a while now, i used to think that holding for 4 years is short term investment, then from then till 10 years and above is long term investment.

My question is, if someone intended holding for long term but has held for lets say 8 years, is the person allowed to withdraw some portions since the investment has been held for more than 4 years? Taking some portions at the 8th year is not trading even though it's not up to 10 years right?
Guys can do whatever they like and sometimes guys sell way too many bitcoin too soon because they think that it is a good idea to sell because their holdings are in profits.. and yeah, it can be difficult to get back those bitcoin after they had been sold...and sometimes guys will have regrets about that.  They had opportunities to really build wealth in bitcoin and then they ended up selling way too much too soon.
I'll approach this from a rather different perspective, if the person was accumulating BTC for a definite purpose, maybe to startup a lucrative business after 8 years or to buy a car at retirement or even a house, then it's fine since they've achieved their goal which they set out from the onset and still hold the remaining stash for longer.

If rather they just sell for profits and hold fiat, then it isn't the best decision since the value of their money would've remained protected in Bitcoin, but fiat would depreciate, so choosing fiat against Bitcoin isn't a wise decision at all.

People have different earning abilities, and so financial stability may be of different levels for different investors, so, pebs can still find a way to buy Bitcoin with little amounts regularly using the DCA. What really matters is that they are buying gradually with the little they can afford from there discretionary.

Seeking for ways to improve income overtime is necessary and okay, but it's not always easy, and while intending to do that, investors can ongoingly just keeping accumulating slowly since it might take sometimes to increase income. Not having a high paying income or earning should not prevent plebs for remaining consistent in buying Bitcoin, because gradual buys can keep growing overtime

Financially, it still might not be a good idea to sell too much bitcoin too soon, whether talking about a house, business, car or whatever BIG  ticket item that is chosen.. Guys have to figure out a balance that makes sense for their circumstances, and yeah, sometimes consumption and/or inferior investments can be structured so that all of the bitcoin are not sold.. even though maybe a relatively large portion of the bitcoin is sold in order to achieve an alternative goal that might be an investment or a consumption-related spending.. .

1) Self-Custody is a right.  Resist being labelled as: "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

Yeah, I get it. Selling a big amount of Bitcoin can be financially risky even though we are using the money for something important, like building houses, busying cars or even starting a business. The thing is bitcoin is volatile in nature and trading a huge amount too soon can be risking the future returns. So it better to find a well balanced method, which maybe selling little leave the rest invested.

So long we plan to invest for a long period of time, history have shown that there is a good return if you hold for a long time. So we should never sell a large amount of our holdings, instead sell a small part of it and hold the rest for the future.

You are absolutely correct and i agree with your idea of selling only small portion because any kind of investment you want to do apart from bitcoin investment, I don't see it as easy as doing bitcoin investment. Selling huge amount of your bitcoin at once just to start a business is a wrong move based on my own understanding, first of all the business you are investing on will not bring the profit immediately rather you can sell small portion of your bitcoin, then invest it in that business of yours you have in mind and support the business with another source so that your bitcoin investment continue.

If I should understand you correctly, are supporting that an investor should sell small part of his Bitcoin if he wants to invest in another business when he has not reach his over acumulation level, correct me if I'm wrong? If that is what you are saying, I do not think you are supporting the right thing, it is adviceable for an Investor to reach his over acumulation stage before he can decide to withdraw some funds from his Bitcoin hodling, and before he can go ahead to do that, what he wants to invest into should be properly plan so that he won't be keeping the money waiting, because money that is kept for something, can be used for something that is not planned, please we should be guided.

The purpose of investing in Bitcoin is to fulfill a dream of his own. The point of investing in Bitcoin is not that he will never sell his Bitcoin. However, I support it that unless there is an important need or if there is something that he is fulfilling his dream of buying a house, or buying a car, or investing in an asset that is very important to him, then Bitcoin can be sold. However, I fully support the fact that Bitcoin should not be sold only for the profit that he has made because if he holds Bitcoin, he will be able to enjoy many times more profit in the future than the profit that he is so excited about at that time. Bitcoin never stops at one price and is constantly creating new records.

Selling should never even be considered a priority while investing and even after one enter over-accumulation...Needless to say, after attaining over-accumulation some folks would want to reallocate some of money from Bitcoin into other investments plans or business that can help improve their financial position...But then again, it is advisable that folks never deplete their entire portfolio just because they have another investment in mind...Am not exaggerating at all if I should say that Bitcoin is by far the best investment that anyone could venture into...And if that is so, then surely it would be unreasonable to then be prioritizing those inferior investments or wants which has no appreciating tendency over Bitcoin that does has...

Personally for me DCA is a very good strategy for new beginners that want to invest in bitcoin long term. It helps someone to invest little by little without stress over market price Everytime. But people should only use money that they can afford to leave for long term, because DCA doesn’t guarantee profit and bitcoin price can fall at any moment. So What really matter the most is patience and consistency.

Unless for a life threatening situation, or a serious financial problem, I don't support pulling off some of your BTC. While planning to start a new business and hoping to sell your BTC to begin the business or whatever you want to do, I think it's very necessary that the investor ensures it's something very important that will warrant such tamper on your portfolio. Because it  will be very stupid that someone takes away some part of his BTC just to invest in altcoins or other irrelevant business all in the name of diversification.

Infact, for me, I don't even support such diversification as Bitcoin holds more value than any of such crypto investments. Especially for plebs still in there accumulation stages, they should concentrate on building there portfolio well enough to a reasonable amount.
The idea of not selling Bitcoin unless it is a life-or-death situation or a major financial emergency seems harsh to me. However, selling too much unnecessarily at the savings stage can easily be a mistake. Because one does not know what to do with the money after selling. If one keeps it in cash, it will be in a bad inflation situation. But partial selling is not always a mistake. I believe that if one has a specific purpose in mind, such as building a business, buying a house, planning for retirement, or some major practical need, then using some Bitcoin for that purpose does not constitute trading. This is not because they are selling all of it out of fear or hoping for a quick profit. Rather, they are being stored for the long term and will be used for the intended purpose.

As a long term investor, you need to have an emergency funds that will protect you not to tend towards selling or trading part of your bitcoin investment when in an emergency situation. This is not too harsh, it’s a necessity that a long term investor must need to have the emergency funds which is very important for his long term survival In bitcoin investment.

The reason for having the emergency funds is so that whenever you are in any emergency situation you can just go to your emergency funds and sort it out without getting to touch your bitcoin investment because once you start touching it you’re already selling when it’s not yet time and at such the long term investment goal is going to become difficult to achieve. There’s nothing like a partial selling in long term investment, that’s a traders mindset wanting to take partial profits and if you claim you’re using it for emergency purpose then what happens to building up your emergency funds as a long term investor. You only can sell as a long term investor when maybe you’ve exhausted all your emergency funds trying to sort out the problem but still not able to cover for the emergency at hand and also if it’s a matter of life and death.

Bitcoin is volatile stuff, so selling will be a very dumb thing to do. Imagine you buy bitcoin at $84,000 and a business idea popped into your head and while you were about to sell, the price come down to $80,000, you still go on to sell it at that price. Not only did the person loose, but the person also reduce his stash which he is supposed to be building up. And I can bet you bruh that if person continues that way of selling, the person will hardly have any bitcoin stash after months of doing that.

AFAIK, no excuse in this world is worth selling your bitcoin over. That is why person needs to have emergency funds, so that those excuses are attended to without person touching his bitcoin.

Selling all your bitcoin stash to set up a business or to build a house doesn't make much sense to me after a long time of accumulation and you have finally reached your bitcoin target. If you sell all of it and become a no coiner. You will regret it later in future because your bitcoin stash can continue compounding in value and generate more profit for you overtime.

No business that you will put the earnings from selling your bitcoin into that will generate more profit for you compared to your bitcoin investment at that stage if you just continue to hodli. I believe that bitcoin price performance in future will outperform traditional investments just as it has outperform some of them this time. Don't make decisions that will make you regret all through your life because I feel that my bitcoin investment is my best retirement plan I can think of so far, because the price increases in value overtime.

If you want to diversify into a business, make sure that you have accumulated 50% or more of your bitcoin target.

Don’t get things complicated mate. No matter how bitcoin investment might look, making profit is not certain or guarantee. We know it not advisable to sell you all your bitcoin portfolio to start up business it build a house or even buy a car. We shouldn’t forget that bitcoin is a volatile asset and making profit is not certain.

There are people who Normally make that mistake of selling their Bitcoin holdings to set up something, but it actually wrong, you can only choose to sell some part of it, possibly little of it. Bitcoin is meant to be hold for a long period of time, because it meant for future purpose.

Bitcoin investment will be more economical if you buy Bitcoin regularly, even if the price of Bitcoin is rising, if you buy Bitcoin, you will still save, and if the price of Bitcoin is falling, if you continue to buy, you will still save on your Bitcoin purchase. Investing in Bitcoin requires a lot of patience because you should use your discretionary income to maintain it for the long term, if you invest in Bitcoin with discretionary income, it will be easier to keep your Bitcoin investment for a long time, and besides, you will form an emergency fund, which is most important for you.
An emergency fund is the most suitable option for maintaining investments for a long time, because it helps protect your Bitcoin investment from any danger.

At a point of life and death one can actually sell their bitcoin if their emergency funds isn't enough but it shouldn't get a point that they need to sell all what they have accumulated. But if it's nothing related to health i don't see any need selling your bitcoin unless maybe you have been accumulating bitcoin for long time and has reached your over accumulation you can decide to sell if you want, you might be at a big profit but selling doesn't mean you are going to sell all become a no coiner. BTC is worth holding, it's a valuable asset that could turn things around for good in the future.

Which is why as an investor we don’t need to actually Joke with our emergency funds because it what help to guide and protect our investment from any unforeseen circumstances or dangers that might lead us into having the tendency to touch our investments. When an investors invest and don’t make availability or plans for emergency funds then such investment is open up to high rate of risks because any situation that end up showing up about anything finance and we have no other option to take care of it then the first thing that comes to our mind is our investment.

I think your idea certainly doesn't need further clarification, as the funds aren't meant to be manipulated to fulfill our desires. Therefore, we can conclude that seriousness will lead us to a good place. Moreover, the fund's purpose is very clear as you stated only to ensure that we are always protected, whether by protecting our fundamental goals.

But currently, many things are happening so that they are experiencing more losses. What I need to ask is what is the purpose of the emergency fund that you have to use for? Because the funds are only for investment, so we cannot use these funds for anything else other than the basic planning that we will do, namely providing only for investing in Bitcoin.
