The amount of money a gambler should spends in gambling must be an amount that they are willing to lose, they should have a controlled budget over how much they want to gamble off, but if they can not control it, then they should not involve in gambling because they will end up to lose all their entire money into gambling, they will even become addicted and start to sell off their property just to gamble. I have seen some persons that fall such victim.

If people gambled only with the money they could afford to lose, they would not return to gambling after their first loss. But in reality, losing motivates people to make even more money and try to recoup their losses. And even winning, even one that more than covers the losses, is not a reason to quit gambling. Because human always wants more.

I know that once you deposit money into any casino, whether physical or online, there is a high chance that the money you bet will be lost, because that is the concept of gambling, which is that every gambler on their platform loses.

Of course, all the profits still come from the gamblers in the casino and the house edge only chooses who they will give a chance to win, and what the gambling platforms pay also comes from the funds deposited by the gamblers. So, as a gambler, let's be responsible, if you lose or are unlucky, stop right now, don't try to chase your losses.

Let's learn from the mistakes of other gamblers who often chase after what they have already lost, because the more we chase, the bigger our losses will be.

Let's learn from the mistakes of other gamblers who often chase after what they have already lost, because the more we chase, the bigger our losses will be.
It is true that what will happen is that the money we deposit will likely be lost in gambling because after all gambling only gives us a lower chance of winning compared to the chance of winning, so it is not surprising that many players experience defeat but with those who experience big defeats and cannot control themselves it is their own fault that they do gambling brutally without any good consideration.

It is true that the players who get the victory are also funds from players who experience defeat, that is why more people experience defeat than victory, because with every player who experiences defeat, the casino will collect it and give it to lucky players only, moreover there is no sure way to get victory in gambling.

It is true what you said, the more we chase the greater the amount of loss we will experience, therefore we must be able to gamble responsibly.

Unfortunately, most decisions to continue gambling after a loss are impulsive and dictated by resentment for the previous loss. This is especially evident in a game with an experienced opponent, when this opponent, for example, is nearby and still persuades you to try your luck again and play again.

I have always been interested in this phrase "try your luck". I see it in such a way that luck is present in a person as if a priori, and in the case of gambling it is not about winning, but more about not losing. And when a person who has already lost many times agrees to "try his luck", he essentially balances on this luck, because in this case luck for him will be not to lose even more. And he puts this at risk and demands even more from luck. It is not surprising that in such situations people lose even more.

Well, perhaps this presence of a sense of luck inside a person and any player, of course, also depends quite strongly on the worldview of this person and his psychotype. If he is an optimist simply in life and believes in the best in the future development of events, then luck in his head has a greater influence on his brain and on his subsequent actions. Well, and vice versa, a pessimist in life is unlikely to try to catch luck by the tail again after an offensive loss. Most likely, he will convince himself that he is still a loser and there is no point in continuing the game because you will lose anyway. That's how I somehow see this strange and mysterious substance, like luck.

Yes, there’s a term “don’t chase your losses” but i am not sure how many not cross that line, i have known gambling companies that spend millions in advertising every year and have teams do the work, I’ll ask them some specific questions I have in mind, some of us have our experience in gambling in both winning and losing both.
We know companies have house edge I believe even if there’s no house edge companies will still benefit solely on gambling paychology in long term but then again they’ll somehow have to keep up with affiliates (Paying them to keep promoting).

Check whether your losses will increase or whether you will reduce your overall negative balance a little this time. Winning an amount that will cover all your losses in your entire life has very low odds, so low that it is practically unrealistic. In theory, of course, it is realistic, but in practice, it is rather unlikely. But this applies more to beginners, as beginners may not have lost that much money yet. And often, when experienced players are asked how much they have won or lost in total, they usually say that they are roughly even, that is, they have lost and won the same amount. Some of them may not be lying if they play according to a strategy with minimal risks.

when you gamble there will be wins and losses, that is normal. but it does not mean you should depend only on luck all the time. if you are not skilled at gambling but you think your luck is good, so you start playing and then you lose who will you blame then luck? that is just foolish. you need skill in everything otherwise you will keep losing again and again. in gambling luck is important, but being skilled is important too. without skill you will see nothing but losses. when someone keeps losing he often thinks he is losing because of bad luck. but he should look for his mistakes and figure out what he is doing wrong. if he does not do that he will continue losing nonstop. and after losing a few times it is better to take a rest before playing again. to gamble you need luck patience and skill. then winning becomes easier.

If people gambled only with the money they could afford to lose, they would not return to gambling after their first loss. But in reality, losing motivates people to make even more money and try to recoup their losses. And even winning, even one that more than covers the losses, is not a reason to quit gambling. Because human always wants more.

After a person loses, a kind of greed and stubbornness works in him to make up for that loss. He thinks that if he plays again, he will not make the same mistake he was making before, so if he does not make the same mistake, he will win. But in reality, an inexperienced player can never win against an experienced player, and if the specific rules of the game are not followed, then he will definitely lose.

The kind of thinking that tricks most of inexperienced gamblers, they see things in that kind of perspectives trying to add more money when they lose their initial and hoping that when they try it again they'll be manage to win and recover whatever the amount they lose, only to find out that they are just adding more money and suffer with the same outcome.
And when they decide to deposit more after losing, that is the worst decision of all. This is the beginning of big losses, their deposits are getting bigger and bigger, and their losses are getting bigger and bigger. The result of excessive gambling is only more losses, but when someone gets caught up in the thought of recovering these losses, he does not realize that he is actually gradually taking on greater risks. But in this matter, one has to be more careful, the main lesson of responsible gambling is that you always have to stop at the right time.

There are many articles online on how one should gamble responsibly, but are there any success stories of people who've successfully stopped gambling after following any advice mentioned in those blog posts?

For example, Responsiblegambling.org offers multiple posts as to how one should gamble, the impact of gambling on youth, and a lot more.

Impact of Gambling Official Blog Post

If You Could Lose, Why Would You Risk It?

There are other reasons people gamble too. Sometimes they gamble to socialize, or to relax, or to distract themselves from other things they have to do, which is never a good reason. Some people also see gambling as a form of entertainment, like going to the movies or watching a hockey game.

When emotionally unstable, you shouldn't risk a lot, even during that time. I have thought of mentioning this post here. Whoever finds it useful should read it.

People have there own reason why they gamble, it maybe for fun or just to get away from boredom, I usually advise people not to put their mind on gambling, not just that but gamble wisely, don't spend all your money in gambling because it can disappoint, if you want to gamble use your decretionary income to gamble, that is the only way one can be safe from gambling, because most people don't even bother they will even use all their life savings to gamble, which will later result to them being broke.

Gambling isn’t naturally not dangerous, but the real danger of gambling is seen when gamblers cease to see it as a means of entertainment and start looking at it and treating it as an escape route or a way to change their financial status. At this point, it becomes very easy for emotion to set in, and when that happens, it becomes very easy to forget the risks associated with gambling and they develop that mindset that one more bet could actually fix their losses and that’s the point where the problem usually begins.

Identifying the reason you gambling Is the first step to control how you gamble, if the reasons fall under this reasons you picked out
There are other reasons people gamble too. Sometimes they gamble to socialize, or to relax, or to distract themselves from other things they have to do,
Then you should have to replace them with something healthier, because these reasons are capable of making one addicted
Addiction activities are always a way to escape stress, or feel better, and life will always stress an individual no matter what.
So the first step to control your the way you gamble is to identify the reason, if it's not healthy they should be replaced or you simply stop

Yes I agree with you you have to do more and more research on the cause of problem you’re trying to fix, someone told me in past too to fix the problem you have to keep digging the cause (This was not for gambling to be precise but can be applied to what said too).

Well you have mentioned so few which are accurate, but to me I believe every gambler has different ways of stopping or controlling their gambling habits. Truly speaking it's not easy for most people because instead of them playing the game, the game is playing them. Why? Because they don't actually know how to relax and set their mind on the right path after a loss. That said the only reasonable way I can say any gambler could control their gambling habits is to gamble for fun and don't let your emotions get the best of you. Rather if you feel that the loss was too much do not ever try to win it back that would be a wrong approach toward your gambling lifestyle. Rather just find any of your hobbies that you really like doing. That's just it for me...

Gambling is not dangerous but gamblers are responsible for creating dangerous situations. You will find most gamblers gambling to make money because they are forced to repeatedly lose money and they continue to make every effort to recover that money. You can keep gambling fun if you can set aside a specific amount of money for gambling. That money will be available only for your entertainment and you will try your best to avoid going beyond this limit. The intrusion of emotions will enter the gambling game when you keep losing more and indulge in excitement.

There is no question of skill, only luck and you can't control that.
the central point of the question in my opinion is different
Do you play games to win money? If so, you should stop.

For example, i play poker with friends in the evening, not every evening, i have fun, we don't spend much money and that's the goal, to spend time together not to win money.

When our emotions are unstable, we shouldn't take more risks. Furthermore, if we are emotionally unstable, we should carefully consider our actions. When we experience emotional instability, we usually seek an escape, which is what we usually do. Gambling shouldn't be the preferred activity, it's better to engage in other, more beneficial activities, such as exercise.

Those who have overcome their gambling addiction are truly remarkable, as breaking a deeply ingrained habit is difficult, especially if it's already considered an addiction. It requires strong consistency to avoid returning to previous habits that could be detrimental to oneself.

The intrusion of emotions will enter the gambling game when you keep losing more and indulge in excitement.
Gambling itself never poses a danger, if you are careful about the budget and stick to the limits of your ability, it never leads you to big losses. If someone sets aside a small budget for gambling from the beginning, which is just for entertainment, then it becomes much easier to control the game, if this specific amount of money is lost, then it is possible to easily accept that loss, because it was not the money you needed. That is why if you do not cross the limit here, it never causes losses, all the problems only start when the gambler starts gambling excessively.

That's why I've been working toward this for a long time: to gain emotional control and limit myself in the game, based on things like time spent playing and loss limits, which could lead to me losing more than I planned. In any case, as long as a player indulges in a lot of things in the game but isn't disciplined, they can easily go all-in at any time, using their entire deposit, and lose it. I think this happens very often to many players, but the main thing is to constantly strive to improve and refine yourself, just a little bit every day, because over the long haul, this can make us great players who understand and follow through.

It is no doubt that gamblers are been faced with emotional issues that continue to be a problem for most people that are gambling to make money not just for the fun. Losing bets can not be overlooked when gambling because you will surely make loses when you like it or not. The winning aspect is not guaranteed for now but gamnlers will win bets but might not be as big as what they are losing. No one should expect to be frequently making money from betting when casinos are also looking for a way to make money from those that are gambling.
