Yes I also agree with that because telling others about his approach to gambling will not be a reference that the gambler will be more responsible, but on the other hand I am sure that the closest people you tell will definitely suggest something better such as more responsible gambling but the problem is as we know that a gambler always finds it difficult to accept various suggestions and input from others even though the suggestions have good intentions especially when they are already quite addicted. I agree. Never do this. Suppose you are on a losing streak and have a thought that a win will happen anytime soon, don't. The chances that it might not happen are higher than winning. I have been playing a lot of slots last week and I can tell that I will not win no matter what I do because I just won a huge x10000 max win before that. Actually i think you're getting it all miss understood, for the fact that you're telling your wife about your gambling habit does not make you a responsible gambler which is true, rather is just so that when you're crossing boundaries she will be there to let you know that  you're overstepping your boundaries, because we can't possibly figure out everything all by ourselves.
