For me, it's about making boundaries and gambling as entertainment, not as a means of making money. IMO, i don't like how gambling becomes a way to make money because it's very impossible at some point, only few people can. I only bet what I'm perfectly okay with losing, such as an amount so minimal that it wouldn't even bother me if it disappeared. The excitement is enjoyable at times, but I never allow it to reach a level where I'm pursuing losses or stressing over it. I'm paying a little money for a little thrill.

Having this mindset has helped me avoid bad decisions and keeps gambling as just a casual thing like when I'm bored instead of a habit. At the end of the day, I’d rather put my money into investments that actually grow instead of risking it all for a quick rush. A little thrill is fine, but losing control? IT'S NOT WORTH IT.

Sometimes you just have to take a step back. Go to a quiet place for 30 minutes and do some breathing exercises. Decisions are best made with a clear head. The best way to control your emotions is to only use the money you can afford to lose to place a bet, once you’ve done that, your emotions will be reduced drastically to some extent that can be tolerable when the bet doesn’t go your way. I play for profit or for fun. If i play for profit - i don`t cares about result. I have a strategy and money management. I calculate bet size once per day or per week and don`t change it until recalculate. So emotions have no place here.
When i play for fun - i have to limits - money and time. So i can allin in my first bet, but i understand that after it i have to stop, so i bet about 5-10 % of bankroll, but can increase the bet if i like the match. Next bet will be about the first.
