It is kinda weird that the United States only chooses XRP, SOL, and ADA as its Strategic Reserve, I can't even believe that Bitcoin is not included in their strategic reserve.

Trump made a new post and announced that BTC and ETH are also included in US crypto strategic reserve. OmegaStarScream even updated the OP with that information around 45 minutes before your post.

Whether Trump includes Bitcoin or not, the interesting thing is that he is still in support of the crypto industry which Bitcoin is also part of. It is still a win for all of us and we shouldn't be expecting so much from Trump so we do not hurt ourselves from stressing so much over what policy Trump makes or not.

Anyway, those who were initially disappointed can now relax their minds because Trump has also included Bitcoin and Ethereum. Could it be that he saw that bitcoiners were disappointed and fixed it immediately? If so, it's something to be excited for. Trump really cares about the crypto community.

Haha, nice follow up. The price of Bitcoin did pumped a lot after that announcement. So, those all of the other three that has been mentioned have to hold their alts for so long because it's been mentioned by Trump. And those that people that have been disappointed about him because he has mentioned about Bitcoin strategic reserve during and after the campaign are now on it again and surely are happy with what has been tweeted by him. He knows how to make the market pump and looks like many are loving it when he announces like this.

I think many people are disappointed with this, especially Trump supporters who support Bitcoin. But even so, I feel like there is something hidden, in my opinion, there is a certain intention behind all of this, it could be their strategy to gain more profit in Crypto, especially in Bitcoin.

I guess you need to do more research. These all three projects are currently based in or have significant operations in the US which is why there’s a high chance they were chosen as reserves. Also, if you read some of the posts in this thread, Trump has already mentioned that he will include ETH and BTC. I believe this is part of his strategy to spark discussions and as we can see, it’s working right now.

This is an open invitation for all kinds of scummy people to come out of the woodwork who will try to pump their coin by financing projects that directly benefit Trump’s family or that advance his political agenda.

If it is so easy to influence government actions by buying the president’s favor, this reserve is not really about the country’s strategic interests, but about Trump’s personal financial interests.

I couldn't see the link where trump said those coins are among the reserves they are planning. But if this is what they want I guess its coming and Musk had not endorsed Doge to Trump? Damn it. I was expecting too much for Musk to keep shilling Doge but now it looks like he is going to abandon it.  

We don't know if Elon though has dump Doge and invest on our crypto that Trump mentioned. But it's possible. So far

At the same time, the White House is supposed to host a crypto summit where several aspects of the crypto-friendly policies will be discussed, including the issue of "creating a government crypto reserve". I'm not defending Trump, but obviously this kind of statements will benefit us more as we can see the price of Bitcoin and other those have been mentioned went off the roof. So if we look at our wallet, for sure we will see that our portfolio has increased many folds already.

So as much as we hate Trump, would you not be happy to see your HODLings increasing?

Obviously those around him or even himself has profited big, but it has trickle effect on everyone. And it's just a matter of time before we can see if this can really put into reality by writing it on a executive order, or just another clear manipulation on his part to pump the price and make more money for them (and or us).

That people can't read when it says "includes".  Everyone who has been paying attention knows it includes bitcoin. 

This is also the angle I was reading it from, which we know from the beginning that bitcoin was the heading of that strategic reserve movement, so that word "includes" without mentioning bitcoin theoretically might be saying bitcoin is the main deal and others are just included, but we can't be too sure as different meanings can be derived from one particular statement if not explained properly.

It is likely only for the profits, nothing more.  Probably the way of Trump to avoid holding the eggs in one basket.

My only hope is that this is not a new Elon kind of wave of market manipulations based off really stupid subtle tweets and wordings.  I am in fact surprised they did not include DOGE.  But maybe that is held for a separate special announcement.

Am I the only one who takes every good piece of news with a giant ball of salt?  I really can not ignore the bad signs and I can not pretend I trust what is happening.  It feels like almost every time good news came up we had a spoonful of shit news to ingest shortly after.

This news is massive for crypto if the plan is really for long term. But I can still feel uncertainty since his buddy Elon Musk does this before on Doge until he sold everything and move on to crypto.

Trump also has his own shitcoin so this kind of post looks like a market manipulation to me especially that he mention altcoin first before Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Price moving at crazy percentage just with a single tweet of one person makes the crypto market easy to manipulate.

Trump does it once again to pump his own bag and WLFI. People are in the hype of crypto being a part of treasury. I wonder whether senate will do agree to pass the bill.

I remember some in senate were against this bill, but gonna be a long drama for sure.

Honestly, i'm not a fan of putting XRP as a part of treasury, this makes no sense. I think treasury bill must be only for bitcoin, not alts.
