Parents must be careful in these matters, raising their children properly is not an easy task, especially in the current digital age, children are becoming addicted to bad things online without everyone's attention. These are terribly harmful for their future. Parents in the current era easily give their children internet connection, but after giving them internet connection, they do not keep an eye on their child's activity. But these matters are an important part of the responsibility of a conscious parent. So, caution must be taken fully well, if the child does not get proper education when there grow up time, it will become a weakness for their future.

We wouldn't blame the parents at some point for early giving these kids access to Internet connections,  even in their various institutions of learning,  it comes in early as a necessity of which at that point the parents can no longer completely prevent it but they can only try their best as much as possible to subject it to some level of control but the only challenge would be that they may have limitations to the extent with which they can accomplish that and so cannot take all the blame at that point. Maybe from their institutions of learning where the early exposure to Internet is suggested,  there should also be some provision to educate these kids on the usage and possible dangers in the abuse, that way a balance could be reach.

Internet becomes a necessity now and we can really say that this is really that indeed needed on some things on which it would really be that relevant specially into studies. Its true that we cant be able to put up all the blame into the parents because even if on how much you do able to monitor your kids but there are ways or things on which it will really be affecting out or would really be able to influence them and might be able to deal up with something. This is why its really that important that you do really know as a parent on letting them know and having some education in regarding about probabilities of things that they might be able to encounter in the future. And regarding the arrest of students who gamble online, usually it is not subject to serious punishment, and only given sanctions or special punishments for teenagers. Yes, the goverment if they see opportunities to prevent deeper involvement they'll do things accordingly if the government is really caring about their people, though some might help but some might not, it's the implementation of the rules and how the goverment studies what might be the better solution, if it's needed to sanction those young gamblers then so be it.

Unless there is a law hat stand where it's illegal to gamble in the first place, no any government arms have any right to violate anyones human right. I can gamble if I wish, I can chose to sell my house if want to and it's no anyone business and I don't have any reason to complain as well when I make any losses. Your country  government is not a senior one, that is abuse of power and privacy, once a student is 18 years he knows what is wrong and right and his right and freedom must be respected, arresting student who gamble online or physical shop is not proper from a responsible government. If government don't want the citizen to indulge in gambling then, they should shutdown gambling site in the country. If they really want the student to stop gambling.

you can't be taking tax from gambling sites and shun your citizens from gambling. You know why? It's because it has the lure of money. Money moves everyone, whether we admit it or not. Everyone needs money to solve their problems. Money moves mountains. Well, as a teen or student, parties are going to happen whether we like it or not. As a parent, I realized that and I know my boys will have a lot of parties they will be attending when they grow more. I think the negative effect is when they are not guided well. They should know what is right and wrong from their parents first and also what should be done and not.

I disagree that parties have more negative effects. You can always party peacefully, it's your choice. In gambling, it's different you can decide whether to deposit more or not but the former always wins. Well, you are absolutely right and I agree wit you, even the Bible made mention of this in the book of proverbs where it said we should train a child in the way that he or she should go, and he or she will never depart from it.
