Its always been part of parenting on which you would be responsible on anything when it comes on raising your kid. If you do like for them to walk on the right path then as a parent then it will be needing up that proper guidance on which you would be sharing up at least or teach them on whats good and bad. Even in this case I would say they gamble only occasionally can also be a problem. Not that it's not allowed but it's best to avoid such things in the first place because at an age when they should be learning but are used as material to try gambling it's not very good for their own development.

Indeed, when their age is legal enough, things like this cannot be intervened because every decision is back to the individual, moreover they will be considered adults to think about this but still gambling at a teenage age or still in studty I think it's too fast for them.

This is true child poor performance sometimes is not caused by gambling, most children is naturally poor in learning. But even as that children more especially those who are still studying is not advised to look into gambling because it can bring problems to them. Every parent must also understand, that even though education is important, life is not education only. I have plenty of examples people who had bad results in studies, became successful. I have plenty opposite examples. If someone gets F in lets say math, life wont end with it. It is more important to find yourself in life and do what you enjoy. Gambling as future can be different.
