When certain country starts to do those crazy blacklisting of certain exchange, next possible situation going to happen is those funds connected with it will be at high risk. Even if it comes with centralized platform that asked KYC. This situation just show that their regulation done is not stable especially on their AML policy.

Since everything will depends on the governments sudden changes of their regulatory decision. So better action to do is to minimize the usage of centralized exchange or those KYC platforms to avoid such possible problems.

The worse part is that you can have clean coins in one moment and all changes. Coins you had from a exchange will be marked as dirty and now you have dirty coins but without doing anything bad

This is the reason AML and scores can not be normalized or all the money we have can be marked good or bad at free will by corrupt officials Sad

Unfortunately, this is no longer true. A country can ban withdrawals from an exchange[1], making all related transactions high-risk even though they originated from a central platform. Therefore, everything related to AML is variable and will only end by avoiding any centralized platform that requires KYC.

[1] UK blacklists HTX crypto exchange over Russia support in sanctions crackdown

I agree they did that and that's not a right way to blacklist a genuine platform only because it allows users of a country. I heard about that HTX blacklisting and also heard that coins that come from that centralized exchange are not flagged by some services. But, to be honest if some countries use that AML policy in such way then it will be more harmful than useful.

It means they'll only allow coins from those exchanges that say yes to their every demand. Still, we are fortunate enough to have some instant exchanges that still work for everyone but we know the policy makers don't like those instant exchanges either.

How exactly do you check the AML score? I never heard that tool exists.
I searched for some tools online, but most of them blocked me. I couldn't find a software or a site where you can check the AML score.

Would you mind sharing it?
Having a good tool for checking AML score is a lot of help at least to avoid lockout or account freezing if the exchange itself detects that your coins have suspicious activity or history.
Some of the tools are Telegram bots. For example, there is the Bitcoin AML Checker. It's a paid service, though. The first check is free. You have to pay $0.05 in BTC for subsequent checks.
There is another Telegram AML checking tool called GreenStage.
Also, the Blockchain explorer shows AML ratings on their website. Enter an address and check the results towards the bottom to see what it says.

I haven't tested any of these and don't know how reliable the information they show is. Generally, the only thing that matters is what the custodial service you deposit your coins into says and nothing else.
AML checkers: free and paid

Centralized exchanges are crap.
I hope that the more restrictions there are, the more people will finally begin to understand the purpose of cryptocurrency and stop using centralized services with KYC.

Thanks for sharing it. I was only aware of two or three, but these are enough for anyone to be sure of their AML score.

People can't stop using centralized exchanges because they prefer convenience, and that's why they go for them. Also, most people won't move until they feel what it is like when exchanges seize their funds for no reason, raise KYC issues, and ask for more details, only for them to lose it to scammers in some breaches.

By the way, can we say AML checkers are another layer of surveillance dressed up as compliance? I might be wrong, but what if they are made not only to give us an AML score but also to use that for their own analysis?

Obviously, it is just a matter of time before centralized services go out of business. Their flaws are being reviewed daily and soon people will realize that they need to be in charge of their own crypto and there are better options out there, using services such as CCE.Cash exchange is the better way to enjoy instant transactions.

Political influence is a huge problem for businesses, that's why they should choose sides wisely. I know they did the wrong thing here and Hugeblack is right, but what the UK did is not going to do any good for anyone. The UK's stance against crypto has always been strict. This is not new. If there will be an invasion against crypto, then the UK will be the origin haha.

If anyone is living there, they should not use centralized exchanges to hold their funds for the long term. They should use self custodial wallets so they can control their funds alone and such incidents won't hurt them.

What do you think of this news?

PayPal's USD stablecoin PYUSD will be natively issued on the Polygon network and integrated into Polygon’s Open Money Stack, making it easier for businesses to handle collections, cross-border settlement, and payouts in one place https://t.co/PhWU0SN4VX
I am not going to pretend that I don't use PayPal because I do. I need it for certain payments as most of us do. But I have never used their PYUSD stablecoin and I don't think I ever will. My guess is that PYUSD was available on Ethereum and maybe Tron before this news. I never tried it there, so Solana will be just one more blockchain I won't be using that token on.

By the way, can we say AML checkers are another layer of surveillance dressed up as compliance? I might be wrong, but what if they are made not only to give us an AML score but also to use that for their own analysis?
That's possible. In theory, they can log IPs and digital fingerprints of users and connect them to the queries and searches they make, trying to connect certain dots.

Obviously, it is just a matter of time before centralized services go out of business. Their flaws are being reviewed daily and soon people will realize that they need to be in charge of their own crypto and there are better options out there, using services such as CCE.Cash exchange is the better way to enjoy instant transactions.
I doubt that will happen. Most people will pick convenience and ease of use over security and privacy. I am not optimistic that will change in the future.

Yes, that has been happening in fiat currencies but previously crypto users were safe from such interference, however since whole crypto market is moving towards regulation, we might see strange things that'll happen in future. Now it's time for the crypto users to have some preventive measures because otherwise their investing and profits from the crypto market can be tagged anytime and it's a big concern for every crypto investor. They'll have to think about it because in near future they can face some hard challenges because they're part of the market, they might have to prove ownership of all crypto assets that they own, which's truly against their privacy.

The crypto exchanges are already getting forced to obey government orders and if they don't do that then governments will ban such exchanges and dismiss their licences. That's forceful way to stop growth of crypto market in name of stopping frauds and other such things. I think all those things are happening to remove privacy of every investors or we can say everyone who's part of crypto market.  There might be a time when all exchanges that will be operating in a country will have to give the government of that country extra and private details of users from that country. The unfortunate thing is that no one can do anything about such thing, and the fortunate thing is that we have instant exchanges like CCE.Cash and a few others but again they're also getting forced to ask for KYC on some transactions in order to operate.

There might be a time when all exchanges that will be operating in a country will have to give the government of that country extra and private details of users from that country.
I am not sure the government would even need information about every user on exchanges operating within their jurisdiction. They can always legally request information about any user when they have a reason to, and the exchanges have to comply and provide the said information.
Obviously, it is just a matter of time before centralized services go out of business.
Truth is, no chance they are going out of business. They are already too large, in terms of market share, trading volume, liquidity, etc. And people will always use centralized exchanges for their convenience and high liquidity. Though it is crazy people still use them like a bank, and store their coins for the long term, despite their history of hacks and poor security of funds.

Yes, they might need such information about most users of exchanges that hold high amounts in their wallets. They simply want to monitor those people and their transactions. That's mostly for regulation reasons because they want to collect as much tax from top crypto earners that they possibly can. There're many things that're going behind the scenes, only governments/authorities of those government are aware about those things but surely in 2026, crypto isn't the same as it used to be back in 2017 or earlier.

They can also pressurize exchanges to not allow some countries that they've black listed. Let's say if an exchange says they want to do business with people of a country that's black listed due to sanctions or something, but they've some license in a country that doesn't want them to allow people from that black listed country, then government/authorities of that country first warn an exchange to not allow users form that black listed country but if that exchange somehow doesn't take that warning seriously then they will black list that exchange and there's chance the accounts or funds that come from those exchange will also get flagged with high AML score

It matters a lot when we are searching addresses. We must make sure that we use websites, not Telegram bots, and we should use them in a proper private environment that can preserve our IP address, digital fingerprint, etc. Tor can be the basic and typical option. As far as I know, it also helps reduce browser fingerprinting.

Anyway, anyone could check any address on them and then use the results to prove they are innocent, even if they are the real owner, so it might not be that serious. But in theory, I also think it is possible, and who knows, maybe it is not just a theory but something practical.

Tor significantly slows down your browsing which can be a pain in the ass. It's much better for your privacy, though. Each user has to weigh the pros and cons and figure out what's more important to them. The Mullvad browser is a good alternative in connection with Mullvad VPN or a similar and proper no-log VPN service. It's a privacy-focused, anti-tracking Firefox fork developed in a partnership with Tor. It's much better in terms of browsing speed.

We're happy to share another mini-report!

🔥 New listing!

#PYUSD #Ondo #USDS on Ethereum (ERC20) is now available on https://t.co/rM1srBq71t
It's good to see USDS, but trading volumes are still low. How do you select new currency pairs? Is it through voting or something else?

It's a privacy-focused, anti-tracking Firefox fork developed in a partnership with Tor. It's much better in terms of browsing speed.
I've been using Mullvad VPN for a while now and I didn't know they had a browser. I'll try it out.

DAI was not one of the most popular stablecoin trading assets before. Now that it has been rebranded as USDS, many are still getting used to the new name. It seems that it will go even slower due to MiCA regulation.

You can read more about it here. It comes with NoScript and uBlock Origin extensions preinstalled.
I am going off-topic now, but since we are talking about Mullvad, there is a running promotion right now by Allstars casino where everyone who deposits $20 in their account and completes a 1x wagering receives a free 6-month Mullvad voucher. If you are interested, this is the link to it. I think it's a good deal.

How did you know it had a low volume? Is there a way to check it from CCE?
USDS is new to me, but after checking it on Coingecko, I see a lot of volume on this new token, which is DAI rebranded.
They have now decided to rebrand their name to be more similar to USD, as with other stable coins. I hope it retains its decentralized nature.

Friends, the new tweet is already here! We'd love to hear from you!

The Bolivian government is evaluating incorporating the Tether stablecoin #USDT into the national payment system, making it a regulated option circulating in parallel with the Boliviano and the US dollar. https://t.co/UbZk6sK11S
