And also his body structure, who has seen Manny Pacquiao's calves? It's one of a kind that's why he can generate a lot of power and speed because everything starts from the based and that is his foot and calves. For those who haven't seen Manny's calves, you can look at it. Even Joe Rogan has talked about it in his many podcast with the subject of this sports and obviously the legend himself.
He wasn’t just gifted, it was all developed through hard training. He’s a very disciplined boxer, and that’s why he became a legend. So whatever happens, we all know Manny will still be able to deliver a good fight at the very least. And if he does manage to beat the champion, it wouldn’t be surprising at all. Another thing, Manny is now fully focused since he’s not involved in politics anymore, and that’s definitely a positive factor.

I like this angle. Last time he lost a fight, a lot of us thought it was because he wasn’t fully focused due to his political commitments. Now that he’s free from politics after losing in the senatorial race, he can really dedicate himself to training for this fight. And who knows, even if he loses, he might keep fighting to generate income and recover some of his campaign expenses. That’s why I’m actually excited for this fight… I have a feeling we might see a dominant Manny here.

Just a small info in case anyone is curious or hasn't heard it yet. Pacquiao got removed from the WBC ranking. They are saying that the ranking that was given to him after he officially went out of retirement was an error(and I agree with it after thinking about it for a bit). rightnow his status on Boxrec is "inactive".

In an interview with Boxing News, former Gennady Golovkin trainer Sanchez gave an honest assessment of Pacquiao’s shock return to the ring, claiming that although he is slightly concerned for the 46-year-old, he believes that he has a chance to defy the odds and defeat Barrios next month.Read in full https://www.secondsout.com/news/goloovkin-trainer-on-pacquiao-vs-barrios/
I guess we can’t really doubt him, especially since it’s coming from a trainer’s assessment, they definitely know better than most of us. I’d love to see Pacman win, but I’m not as optimistic as I used to be. It’s hard to deny that his dominance in the ring has ended, and coming back at this age is something else. Still, it shows just how disciplined he is as a boxer to stay fit and confident enough to fight a young champion. That alone already makes him a winner in my eyes, and it’s no wonder he’s won the hearts of so many fans. The fans still can doubt Pacman because of his age, however, the statement of GGG's trainer has certainly removed some of those doubts. But is this an assurance that Pacman will win? No, I reckon. This is certainly not an endorsement for his victory and this is also not a declaration to bet on him hehehehehe. This is where we lose our money when we listen to these experts. They might be experts, however, they cannot predict the future with certainty. Maybe it has removed some doubts, but still though, many could be questioning Manny's comeback. It is for the money or for the glory? No one can tell that for now. Except for die hard fans who might says that Manny is really relieving everything and this fight is for his fans. But as you have said, it's true that there are no experts, it's just their own opinion because once the bell rings, it will still be this two inside the ring. No experts can help them inside. Manny though still has something in him? Then we will see even at this age. I have seen different people have different speculations on why Pacman has decided to fight again. Many fans have declared that this is because he has never removed himself from training and has always done not very heavy training to maintain his body while he was a politician. Other people speculate that he is doing this to collect back the money he has spent on his political campaign his country where he has lost. Also, other speculations include that he has much debt because of his lifestyle and this includes the families and friends that he supports financially.

I do agree with those speculations, maybe we have hit the reasons why he wants to make a comeback, but who can't blame him? The allure of the sports itself, as he was once the talk of boxing for many years and now inducted to the Hall of Fame. As for me money, I think he still has a lot in his bank account, but I guess he just want another big payday every other year.
And for his training, you can search in youtube about Shane Mosley, attending one of Manny's outdoor training. You can see him and Mosley probably talking about the fight and how Manny is feeling. Manny is really likeable in every sense, every opponent that he face, always shows up and give him support for this upcoming fight.

Also, other speculations include that he has much debt because of his lifestyle and this includes the families and friends that he supports financially. Okay lets go on that 1 by 1 with those speculations. 1. If Pacquiao claims that he had still made out some training despite after having the retirement from boxing or even been on politics didnt made him stop on doing such thing then so what? That would be a good news for those who do still believe about Pacquiao to win up this match since if he had made out some complete stop then he had only a few month preparation for this fight and that doesnt sound good in compared into the first parth. 2. If he plans to collect back on what he had lost to politics? So what? We dont know about his current financial status whether he do still have tons of money despite of those expenses about into this electoral run or only have already a few left. We dont actually know but people do really love to assume things out. 3. In debt? How they do know? They do have indeed having that lavish lifestyle on which understandable because he had been that making multi-millions of usd and how much more if its converted into local fiat money into their country? That would surely be a big amount and we dont even know that he had already established himself into different business that even if he had stopped boxing, but still he do able to sustain and survive because of it. People are just that way too judgmental when it comes into other peoples lives and not just that be keeping their mouth shut and just see whether Pacquiao could made out some epic comeback after a long pause of its boxing career due into other career that been that focusing into.

That's because he's not cocky, he respects his opponents, and people really like that. At his age, Manny still competing for a championship is pretty impressive. Also, he just got into the Hall of Fame. All that combined makes the fight interesting, even if not everyone thinks he'll win. When Manny fights, boxing just becomes pure entertainment, and that's what I'm looking forward to here.

Pacquaio is down to earth fighter and he don't have this attitude where he brag his achievement. That's the reason on why most of his opponent became his friend. Also its great gesture for Mosley to show up on his training since we could see that both of them have good relationship. I'm also looking forward to see an exciting match between Pacquaio and Barrios so hopefully we can't see a slow Pacquaio so that we can say that he still have good chance to fight to take the belt of Barrios. Even though I'm doubting if Pacquaio would win on this match but I'm rooting for his success since maybe he can create a history if he could able to defeat Barrios.

I also understand on why there are some of the fans that are triggered by these speculations because similar to me, we only want to see Pacman the prince of boxing. We do not want to see or we do not care about his personal life.

Pacman risking himself because he has debts to pay? Honestly, that’s fine, it’s still better than stealing government funds like some politicians in the Philippines. At least he’s earning his money clean. Even if he’s older now, he still seems confident he can win, so let’s give him that. Or better yet, instead of all the speculation, if you really don’t believe in him anymore, just bet against him. Let the results speak for themselves.

Not sure if we can discussed about his situation, as far as we know he has a lot of money and businesses in the Philippines. So let's say that he really wanted to box and show that he still has it and give it back to his fans. There is a recent video of him training with Teo Lopez. And it seems that Teo is enjoying his time with Manny as he has first hand knowledge on how the legend trains. And it was a win win for Manny as the young Teo might feed him energy. And that what Manny is, many young boxers look at him as their inspiration growing up and know they have the time to see him and what it takes to be a 8 division champ.

He continues to inspire the boxing world, even without an undefeated record. Manny's popularity comes from being the only 8-division world champion, and more importantly, from the humility he shows, something you don’t often see in other champions. He also values relationships, even with former rivals. I’ve seen videos of him hanging out with Hatton and Morales, guys he once beat convincingly in the ring. That shows what kind of person he is, a true professional who treats boxing as a passion, not just a way to make money by picking easy opponents. He’s a great example of what a real champion should be.

There is a recent video of him training with Teo Lopez. And it seems that Teo is enjoying his time with Manny as he has first hand knowledge on how the legend trains. And it was a win win for Manny as the young Teo might feed him energy. He’s a great example of what a real champion should be. And we can say that he is almost a complete boxer, maybe like Muhammad Ali, with his charisma to the fans. But Manny was different, he came from nothing and so he is really that humble. I also saw some videos of him in the restaurant humbling someone Youtube influencer. I don't know though who's in Manny's circle right now that allows this kid to be with him. Anyway, he should really be careful on who he trust since he is back and then obviously the boxing world has been shaken out because of this. So everyone might be wanting to ride his coat tail from boxers to influencers, just saying. This is the first of the month and so this fight is getting closer and with that, there will be a lot of people that will surround him day and night and wanted to see him train and what kind of training he does.

Agreed, however, I disagree that these are judgemental questions. I reckon these are only speculations from both the fans and the journalists from sportnews media on why Pacman is returning to boxing after having an older age for the sport.
Never heard about him having that problem and if there's something like that came out its all pure rumors since we don't see him struggle. Also Pacquaio does have lots of running business in PH so maybe those people spreading rumors like that is just spreading hoax towards his financial condition. Although sometimes we think about that situation especially that he's still fighting despite of his age. But now I understand that this is his passion and provably he still want more since this is what he used to do even since before. Pacquaio is true legend and we just hope that after this fight he won't get any serious injury.

Yup, Manny has a lot of money, and I think he could not spend it all in his lifetime. The reason he returns to boxing is that he misses the spotlight. When he trains, the camera focuses on him. As you mentioned, Teo Lopez enjoys training with him, and it's not just Teo; many young boxers surround him, which gives him energy. Two weeks more to go and we will see if Manny still has it to defeat a young boxer in Barrios. So far no movement in the betting odds, Barrios is still the heavy favorites to win this fight.

There is also a funny video of Elie Seckbach a renowned vlogger in the field of boxing and asking Rolly Romero on how many sit-up he did. Elie said that Manny did 3000 per day, 1500 in the morning and 1500 in the afternoon. And Rolly was dumbfounded because he was just doing 500 a day and that he is ok. So I guess that's why separate Manny from other boxers and again he is a legend and so he did a lot of trainings that no other boxer can do maybe except the elite like Floyd. And also Teo Lopez working with him and someone is like hammering his hands with a stick or something to strengthen it. With Manny it's just normal and you can see that there is no pain. But when Lopez try the same training, he winces in pain as you can see in his face.

Yes, nothing’s really changed and probably won’t.. Pacquiao is already way past his prime, and Barrios is the defending champ. But for fun, I’d still take that 3.2 odds on Pacman. I’m just hoping more betting markets open up for this fight, like knockout by round range. I’m really curious what the odds would be for a Pacman KO between rounds 1-3. I’d definitely consider that too once it’s available.

Only 10 days to go before Manny Pacquiao's fight. Well, as Filipinos of course we want Manny to win, but this time I think he's really the underdog. Even the current odds on sports betting sites show that Manny Pacquiao is the underdog. Given that Manny Pacquiao is already old and what happened in his fight against Keith Thurman probably won't happen again, I think there's even a chance Manny could get knocked out in this fight. That's why my bet is on Barrios even if it's just a small return if Barrios won. Anyways here the current odds for this fight.

If he ain't the kind of fighter the way he used to but still can defend himself and box heavy. It might just e possible to see him win by decision. However Barrios being the younger guy while also have the hands that can KO. Its also possible that he will win by Decision. I'm not sure if he can KO Pacman.

There's a reason why winning by decision here has higher odds, because it's less likely to happen. But just like you, I'm thinking of betting on that outcome as Pacquiao might not be as strong a puncher as before, so he might not be able to knock out a bigger opponent. But if he can maintain his speed, he could win this fight by decision. Which sportsbook are you using BTW? The one seen above though screenshot doesn’t show that option yet.
