Then why not implement Digishield?

This was brought up before when discussing the KGW.  Digishield might help even out some of these peaks, and keep small miners like myself interested(not that I'm not actively mining NLG anyway).

-Fuse

Hi Fuse,

We also looking at DGW2.

Please comment on what you guys think is better between the 2.

I have started talking to the team about this as we do want to keep our dedicated miners happy and for longterm network stability.

What happens if NLG has same network hash as Dogecoin and one day litecoin, would it make things worse or better?

@markanth: Your help is appreciated.
The fact that there is in total 8M+ NLG received on Gf7 and not kwowing the intensions is scary isn't it? I can't query the blockchain at the moment for the accurate received NLG. If there is another Gd adress it's even more scary. BTW I have no problem with honestly mined coins.

@CIG: I pointed cgminer at clevermining.com and logged for a few hours.. seems to correlate 100% to Gf7wGAwJGDLfoHcNCRLKZqpk2EQU5ixA6c.  see the activity log snippet below (i filtered out a lot of the garbage).  The highlighted hashes and difficulty match up to the guldencoin blocks 114389 to 114397. Clevermining switches to NLG and keeps mining NLG until crossing a high difficulty threshold.  With 120 GH of hashing power available they can churn through blocks like butter.. then switch off to something else, leaving the hardcoremining pool and others stuck mining the more difficult blocks.  I can see why honest miners would get discouraged mining NLG.  The only bright spot (for traders at least?) is the coins are likely dumped onto the market for BTC on a regular basis as clevermining has BTC payouts to make.. which I guess is a good thing as waterloo suggests?..  cheers --Mark

PS: I'm fairly confident I got this right, but someone feel free to double check me.. i only got into crypto a few months ago so maybe I'm misinterpreting what these logs represent.

So a switching pool and not one individual getting 9 million coins. The coins would be shared by all using that pool/s just like a normal pool?

In a switchingpool the NLG (or other mined altcoins) are not spread under the miners. The payout is in BTC.
Did you see Lucjver en Kloink left Hardcoreminers last night for a while? Lucjver is back again now (respect). If that happens 1 hard block can take more than 1 hour to find. And 3 hard blocks must be mined before the diff is adjusted. No wonder people complain it takes to long for transactions to complete.

In the meantime till the problem is less a problem: can we introduce a bonus for the finder of the hardest block/day?

CryptoGift speeding up! Working hard to finish payment module after that we will create our code system!

Great Shoppem! I suppose both the NLG- and BTC-symbol will be on it?

Then why not implement Digishield?

This was brought up before when discussing the KGW.  Digishield might help even out some of these peaks, and keep small miners like myself interested(not that I'm not actively mining NLG anyway).

-Fuse

Hi Fuse,

We also looking at DGW2.

Please comment on what you guys think is better between the 2.

I have started talking to the team about this as we do want to keep our dedicated miners happy and for longterm network stability.

Casinocoin had implemented Digishield lately. (They changed blockreward and total blocks as well with the upgrade)
As far as I know Digishield is a good thing for stability.

Not sure yet, this because we are planning to accept more coins in the near future. Both symbols are widly displayed on the website though.

// Miner setback : We have trouble with our payment provider, they are not willing to accept anything that has something to do with bitcoins anymore.

I don't think anyone sees that as a problem. Who is that payment provider?

I would keep it by NLG and BTC only, maybe 1 more.  Wink

Multisafepay, but i might convince them if we build in more security measures. Problem with that is that it will take longer to buy the card.

Yes for sure we want to keep it < 10 coins. This product will be released in holland first and after that we will go international.

At this moment i am making a blog where you can find all the updates Smiley

Criptoe.Com could use some extra hashing power if anyone wants to lend a hand.  We've been going strong for a while now, but the added difficulty and hashrate is making block finding more sparse.  Give the pool a shot, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Thanks,

Fuse

OK, jumped in the criptoe.com pool. Will evaluate after 24hrs. Cheers.

Why would you want to stick to that paymentprovider then? I know expected volume dictates price when you're looking for fiat paymentproviders, but I'm sure there are more who can do what you need done.

Maybe I shouldn't write their names here, but I can give you a few names in pm if you're looking around.

Are you sure you can accept any possible answer to this question?

We tried several other but or there system is not what we are looking for or they are way more expensive or they have the same issue with Bitcoin.

Like mollie accepts bitcoin but they don't accept new creditcard accaptens at this moment so we can't use them. Creditcard payments are verry important for us.

We are in contact with Pay.nl to see if we can do business with them.
