Spain still has teams in other competitions as well, while it may not be as good as UCL, they are still there. Whereas, Italy has only one team left, which is Atalanta in UCL, so less than La Liga, and also they have less teams overall. Spain still has six teams, whereas Italy has only 4 teams left.

It means, Spain has a chance to actually keep playing and having more chances, the gap is not that big, and main reason why Italy looks so great is that, they had a season with three Italian teams in the finals of the three cups, that season was a beast for them but it is not common and doesn't happen all the time and Spain will pass back, just needs time until that season is not calculated anymore, needs 2 or three years I think.

For example, Real Madrid even when they are performing badly in the domestic league often do very well in the Champions League, except for last season when they performed poorly in the competition.Another thing we should understand is that it was Real Madrid home game, so we should not have expected Manchester City to win the game.As for me, I believed Real Madrid were the favorite team to win that match yesterday. However, I seriously did not expect Manchester City to concede three goals without being able to score any goal. That was a very bad performance from Manchester City.At this point, I would say that Manchester City are out of the Champions League, and they should now focus on the Premier League and other competitions like the FA Cup.

Now I realize that you know there are 6 English teams in the round of 16 and they boast a lot about it, but not a single one of them won their match. It's really interesting. I think Arsenal and Liverpool will go through, but the other 4 teams look like they will be eliminated.

Just when people were saying Mbappe was absent and Real is cooked, Valverde stepped up. It was a much worse performance from Manchester City than I expected. I can understand Chelsea losing to PSG, but City getting dominated like this was a surprise.

Actually it raises a question mark though about what the results of the UCL first leg in this round of 16 looks for the EPL clubs after the hypes the league enjoys. Chelsea and Manchester City performance were really below average and an embarrassing one for the fans, it's already over for them as the second leg would be looking like a ceremonial game because their chance of upsetting the scoreline is tiny. Perhaps Arsenal still has a better shot on chance than Liverpool because of how Liverpool has really being unstable and not as consistent as Arsenal's form.

Man City is favored, but it is this team that is humiliated because indeed with Real Madrid's game yesterday did not move even though Haaland could not make his action as an attack line.

Man, one thing is still unbelievable to me... This is the first time ever for Bodø/Glimt to reach the group/league stage in the Champions League in history. And now they have cracked the door open for the quarter finals!

Bodo/Glimdt is just unbelievable. The team is making the Norwegian league proud. Last season, they made history by becoming the first Norwegian clubside to reach the semifinal of a major European tournament, and were eventually knocked out by Tottenham.

This season, which happens to be their debut season in the Champions League, they've already caused some upsets by beating some of the best teams in Europe, and who knows how far they will go?... But it's almost certain they will play in the quarterfinal after beating Sporting Lisbon by 3 goals to nil.

My thoughts exactly, Chelsea really did their best but it wasn't enough, psg on the other hand are in a more better form than them that was why the game was kind of easy for them to win. It is obvious that Chelsea can't survive the second leg just as you said and the main problem with that is their current form.

I already knew that Chelsea was no match for PSG, despite the fact that they won PSG at the club world cup, which I see as a pre season tournament. I was expecting PSG to win the match, but I was not expecting them to score that much. I think Chelsea started the game well and I must confess that up to the 70th minute they were still in the game, but I was surprised how PSG scored 3 goals and Chelsea could not do anything.  I think the champions league journey is over for Chelsea,  because I don't see them coming back from this defeat at the Stamford bridge.

What PSG did to Chelsea was even worse than the case of Arsenal because what just happened to them, 5:2, is a lot, and the way Chelsea fans were making noise about how they were going to destroy PSG and see who got destroyed at the end of the day, I was just shocked to my greatest surprise because of how Chelsea fans were full of themselves about yesterday's game; Chelsea actually tried, but they just could not win, and Chelsea had lost even the second leg already.

And out of eight shots on target, they scored five goals. The game was interesting, and they came prepared when they were playing against Chelsea, and Chelsea has learned their lesson, especially their fans. There is no way they can come back, even in the second leg, it's automatic already that Chelsea is no longer in the picture, because how do they want to meet up? Even the second leg does not give them any chance.

Who still remembers the rantings if Chelsea fans earlier when they were making noise, give us PSG, give us PSG and finally, UEFA made it possible, lol, the same was Atletico Madrid trashed Tottenham is the same way PSG just trashed Chelsea. The UEFA champions League is not one of those competitions that keeps-- say, a selected number of teams on the top due to other teams not putting in enough effort. If any team ever got the chance to qualify (even to the smallest of teams in minor leagues), no team should be underrated because everybody wants to win. Kvaratskhelia sealed up the win with more goals, making the task of not getting eliminated even more difficult for the blues.

I'm so delighted with the win we got vs Liverpool in this leg.    We did it again at home! But the real issue is that this time we are going to Anfield also... I don't feel so good already now I'm afraid.

Because I don't trust Galatasaray versus big clubs in away games. We already have a Juventus example in our hands. We were nearly throwing it away in a stupid way! We didn't do it thanks to winning the first leg 5-2.

But we were able to beat Liverpool by only 1-0 so I don't expect us to advance to quarter finals honestly.

I highly doubt Newcastle will be a problem for Barcelona. PSG played very cleverly against Chelsea but I didn't expect them to score so much in the first leg of the Champions League Super Sixteen. However, did you notice that Vitinha and Khvicha contributed significantly to the victory in this match because we still think that there was a lot of competition when the score was 2-2 between these two teams in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16 but in the 74th minute the Portuguese player turned the match around and it is even true that khvicha who came on as a substitute in this UEFA Champions League match, scored two more goals for PSG as a result the Premier League team lost this UCL match. Anyway it now seems that the Chelsea team will be able to take revenge in the return leg against PSG at Stamford Bridge.

What will you even bet on Atalanta to win the second leg, when they lost the first leg, that was a home game for them, and the worst part of it is that it’s a margin of 5 goals? Well I won't say much because we can't really tell how the second leg will look like, the impression in the first leg has given people enough reason to believe it is over for Manchester city and Chelsea. I'm actually surprised at Chelsea losing 5:2 to Paris Saint Germain they took club word cup from  and that of Real Madrid is not that surprising because we know Real Madrid itself is champions league so I can't be that surprise as they can defeat any team whether inform or not. People were judging that game based on form that Real Madrid will not be able to win but actually did and I don't see Manchester city coming back.

In the last few years, soccer has completely changed any result is possible. While things have never been easy to predict about second-leg games, few matches are going to be interesting with teams needing to give their best for having better results.

Newcastle United ended with a draw, but now Barcelona is at 1.55. Liverpool lost in the first leg, but now they are having odds of 1.25. Arsenal also ended with draw they are also moving on at 1.33. Manchester City, who were humiliated at Bernabeu by Real Madrid, are also having a fair chance with odds of @1.5. Maybe these are tricked odds, but matches are not going to be like these because all teams will give their best and try to have themselves in the last 8.

This is a big disaster for the English side, all the team that participated in the group stage of the champions league all qualified for the knockout stage and the way it going now it seems all of them might be heading out of the champions league. It a huge surprise that non of the could win their match in the first leg of the knockout round. So far only 2 team look in good position and might get through the knockout stage which is Arsenal and Liverpool.

Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester city all have a 3 goals deficit to come back from, they need to perform miracles to get themselves back in the game, the only big advantage they have now is that they will be playing at home. For me I feel it going to be a very difficult game for all of them but then I know they will all try to come back from the game.

Is like you have forgotten to add Tottenham to the list they also lost to Atletico Madrid. You it's kind of strange that none premier league club won their match. With how the results of the first leg turned out, it is very possible that only one or two teams will progress to the next round. I'm sure of Arsenal progressing, maybe Liverpool might join them as they have better chance compared to others.

Tottenham is the worst of them all. Tottenham decided to field a goalkeeper who cannot control how he reacts to the tension and atmosphere in a Champions League game. He has sent his team back home. Tottenham can't qualify anymore.

But Chelsea fans wouldn't accept that Chelsea isn't in a good form because they were bragging before the match that they are tje favorite to win the game just because they were lucky to win PSG on the finals of CWC due to fatigue on the players since they have been winning big clubs till the final day. Chelsea was really late in realizing that PSG is a truly strong team, and when PSG is at its best, stopping them is indeed the most difficult thing to do. and with a 5-2 aggregate defeat, I also think Chelsea will no longer have much hope of turning things around in the second leg. because if Chelsea want to qualify, they must score at least four goals against PSG without conceding a single goal. and we know that’s truly difficult and would require a miracle for Chelsea to achieve. Because PSG might even want to score more goals in the second leg, which would make them even more confident in their victory.

A 1-goal aggregate advantage certainly makes Galatasaray more confident, but I also acknowledge that Liverpool has a great chance to turn things around. However, we also need to highlight the performances of both teams in recent matches, and I see that Galatasaray often manages to perform at their best, while Liverpool is very, very inconsistent, which makes me think that the second leg match still allows Galatasaray to maintain their advantage.

And for Chelsea, I think they don't have any chance left, it has to be admitted that PSG has better quality compared to Chelsea.
