Mbappe's injury is truly and unexpected one for the team now they are deeply in need of winning to solidify there place at the top of Spanish la liga and even go further in the champions league. If not for one thing i would have said its the teams fault for his injuries because they would have controlled it when they had the opportunity to do so, when they noticed he had little issues even if he had insisted of  playing then. But am just not happy for mbappe's injury now that the tournament is about coming to an end and preparing for the world Cup and may miss it if time is not taken or his injury is not well treated.

We know the boy plays a very important role in the club but the way people are making it look as if mbappe is what Madrid needs and Madrid cam not do without mbappe, I don't even stress my self any longer when it comes to real Madrid so from the beginning we need to. Many of them dream of winning the Champions League trophy. Therefore, I think they will be more involved in these matches and might even be able to eliminate Manchester City. This is what I think is the main target of most players especially those gojg for the world Cup. It could even be the reason we are seeing so much decline in most of the top teams as you can see from last month. I'm still wondering how Mbappe will be able to refuse to play for Madrid if he is certified fit to play.

With the current form of both teams, man city stand a more better chance of winning this tie against Real Madrid. What’s the extent of the Mbappe injury? I can’t seem to find any confirmed news but would be a real shame if he was out long term. Real will suffer, they are already not in the best form this season, to lose him would be a huge blow. France will be sweating too as it’s the World Cup in the summer.

I learnt he was going to be out for 3 - 4 weeks due to his knee injury at least that was what I read in one of the news. If it's true he should be expected back into the team in 2 weeks time or less. No doubt his been an integral and one of the most important players for team and him being out for long will affect the team as a whole, with proper management, Real Madrid should be able to manage the Mbappe's absence well due to the fact that they have capable players that can fill the forward role of the club. The only place I personally feel they have issues with mostly is the defence and a real replacement for Kronos. Mbappe should be back soon though and banging but I'm afraid, they might not win anything at the end of the season because of how they have failed to stay afloat.

Mbappe's injury hits at a very critical time and i will call it negligence on the part of the player because from what i read in the news, this injury has lingered since December but Mbappe didn't pay attention to it till it got to the situation it is now. He needs to be treated properly and be fully fit before he can return to play which should take within that 3-4 weeks but it will really be a huge blow if he misses Real Madrid's match against Manchester City in both home and away match. His absence affected their domestic league match against Getafe last Monday which caused the team to lose, i wonder how their match against Celta Vigo will go tonight.

It would be nothing but a surprise if they get it done against Manchester City. Their last three games in La Liga were awful and they were not at their best at all when they played Benfica. I think Manchester City will be on fire and as I said before, if Real Madrid misses Mbappe, it's over anyway I think because without him they don't have the force and efficiency they need to stand strong against Manchester City.

Now against Celta Vigo it was again a last minute win, but getting a last minute win against them is much easier than against Manchester City. It is not that Real Madrid hasn't done that before, didn't they? But they don't get into their best mood and Vinicius Junior isn't a problem solver.

I was thinking Real Madrid was going to play 1-1 draw with Celta Vigo because it was obvious that the Celta Vigo vs Real Madrid match would end 1-1 since the match got to stoppage time without Real Madrid breaking the dead lock, but Valverde F late strike for Real Madrid in the dying minute gave Real Madrid a win and rescued Real Madrid in the hands of Celta Vigo tonight. It's true that Real Madrid's performance isn't impressed against Celta Vigo, but we should be happy Real Madrid won the match and maintain a close gap with Barcelona. Manchester city against Real Madrid is not an easy one, no words for now because the match is unpredictable just like Madrid and Arsenal last season. This time around is a different match because Manchester city is in a good form although not really competitive to an extend defeating Madrid so easy likewise Madrid known for their past records can’t give up easily to city, I think this is the most anticipated match at the moment because both teams are tough.

If they had given Xabi Alonso more time, he would have been able to achieve more, but they couldn’t wait, and now see the result. I don’t have much hope in them this season anymore, as anything can happen. Although they say time will tell, let’s wait and see the results of their mistakes.

I’ve been saying it from the start and i still stand by it , they shouldn’t have gotten rid of Alonso. That might end up being their biggest mistake. Chelsea shouldn't be afraid of PSG next week. I literally watched Monaco destroyed PSG in the league competition. I was basically neutral on which team is going to win in that game but I think now my mind is made up. Chelsea will qualify for the semi-finals, eliminating PSG from the Champions league. Chelsea also have the home advantage. The second leg will be played at the Stamford Bridge, it is going to be a glorious moment for Liam Rosenoir to prove to the Chelsea fan that there is hope for the Champions League.

It's very difficult to predict this match because Manchester City and Real Madrid are both experienced Champions League teams. Real Madrid usually performs well in the UCL, although they had to go through the play-offs to reach the round of 16. The Real Madrid players will certainly be enthusiastic because they all want to win the UCL trophy. Although Mbappé likely won't be playing against Manchester City, Real Madrid certainly has other strong players.

But considering Manchester City's draw against Nottingham Forest, that's certainly a sign for Arbeloa to examine their weaknesses. So, I think the first leg will be difficult to predict if Manchester City will face Real Madrid.
