This thread is blowing up as the days go by. I haven't posted here in a while, just come around and read a few reasonable discussions and speculations of what would decide the fate of this competition for the final game, for the season.
I don't know if Arteta feels the pressure one bit, but their win against Crystal palace yesterday just unlocked a different level of confidence for them, and I'm wondering-- what's the plot in Paris? Luis Enrique obviously isn't a dramatic type and the results have spoken so well for him, but what are we expecting on the 30th? Can they show up and defend this trophy, then put themselves in the golden shelve of history as the 2nd club to ever do so? Let's wait for the results in 5 days!

They haven't worked on themselves and they are expecting a miracle to happen. What I meant is that, they're not capable of winning their own match but they want Manchester United to win Brighton as if it will automatically give them three points without them putting efforts. They are out of European competition next season.

Chelsea is one of the biggest losers in the English Premier League. It's sad to see a club that spent heavily in the transfer market play very poorly. Manchester United won Brighton yet it didn't help Chelsea to get a continental competition. The worst part is that the Blues are behind Brentford. Which means Chelsea wouldn't have qualified for the Europa Conference League even if Brighton missed out because they finished in 10th position behind Brentford.

They have a good coach who will take over next season. Xabi Alonso might be their new special one.

Chelsea would have qualified because they would have been the one on 8th position. Brighton total points is 53 and Chelsea has 52 points after dropping all three points against Sunderland. In fact, Chelsea would have qualified for Europa League because assuming they defeated Sunderland, they will be on 55 points higher than that of Sunderland that's on 7th position.

You are right and it is so bad that Chelsea could not even qualify for Europa, very bad!! Their poor performance started in the middle to the ending of the season because initially Chelsea was among the top 4 teams in the premier league but I was so surprised what happened all of a sudden that made them to drop down in the table. At first I thought Chelsea was going to be a threat in the champions league but I was very wrong. I believe they have learnt their lesson this season.

I myself am also hesitant to bet between them, but what is certain is that more people favor PSG, but it does not rule out the possibility of surprises happening. The tension building up around this finals is really intense and just like you, we all hope it gets to worth the hype so far.
It is very possible it may not be a really entertaining one but a bit more reserved as both teams will want to be careful as much as possible.
Arsenal is really looking like their confidence level is building up really high and PSG will have that to deal with.

Till this moment both sides have an equal chance and advantages to winning and so it is making it even more difficult to say who we are expecting to win possibly.

In a final match situation like this, it is indeed difficult, but there might be opportunities for live betting. We do not know how both teams will use their playing strategies. Yeah discussions here are very interesting especially for those who are football lovers I usually post here because i just can’t help myself when ever I see an interesting conversation, the champions league competition is one of the best competition in the world I think after the world cup competition the next is the champions league that is why you see interesting discussions here always.
I don’t think Arteta feels any kind of pressure right now, he has succeeded in lifting the premier league trophy this season so even if he doesn’t succeed to lift the champions league on 30th it won’t affect him that much, come to think of it when was the last time Arsenal reached the Champions League final so to Arteta he has already achieved success so his not on any pressure he may actually end up winning the champions league trophy this season anything can happen in football.

The squad that will face PSG will be very different from the one that played against Crystal Palace yesterday. We can expect Arsenal to field their best players against PSG and be fully motivated for this match. A tough challenge awaits them in the Champions League. I think they will give us a great final. Arteta must give every player the chance to play in positions where they'll give their best, players like Declan rice should leave the defensive midfield, and play box to box, where he's more flexible and capable of giving a destructive strategy to opponents, then captain Odegaard would play more of attack to give PSG's defense a big run, and a headache they can't easily decipher. With his effort in loosening the PSG's defense, players like Saka would have a better option at striking goals. The issue with Arsenal is near misses, when under pressure, they lack composure in high intensive games, they need the confidence to trap down on PSG, and then tighten up their own defense.

Why take the risk anyway, when they’d already won the Premier League trophy before that match. Therefore, Arsenal  really don’t want to waste the opportunity they have, so they gave most of their first team players a rest in the match against Crystal Palace. Arsenal just  need to focus on the final, and it seems their players are also brimming with confidence (thanks to their long awaited trophy after a 22 year wait), and  now they have a chance to break their Champions League deadlock.

PSG is a formidable opponent and they are not only the defending champions,  but they also have a squad packed with top class players. Unfortunately, PSG is not in great shape at the moment, as several of  their key players are still injured. While Hakimi and Nuno Mendes are still not fully recovered,  there is a rumour that Dembele has also reported to have picked up an injury. So if that  really happens, Arsenal look set to have a better chance

I can't say Arsenal did well against Crystal Palace therefore they are going to dominate PSG in the champions league finals, no, for me that performance yesterday was terrible but base on the fact that they have won the EPL title so they won't really go all out and take this game against Palace too serious. Like we all know, Arteta reserved his best for the main event so we can't say this their performance is good and they'd trash PSG, if this is how they'd play against PSG if suggest they give PSG the UCL title today, but let's wait for them to be on the pitch.

Sure, we should wait and see what happens in the next five days. But I think we already know what will happen in the final. PSG is likely the favorite team to win the Champions League. As always, I think PSG has an impressive attack, the best in the tournament if I'm not mistaken. Just think of Bradley and Dembele, while Arsenal has the best defense in the tournament. And here, there's the risk of a stalemate. I tend to give PSG a higher percentage win, given that they've already won the Champions League several times, but Arsenal haven't reached the final in 20 years, and that makes them hungry. For now, I think PSG will take it home, but we'll see what happens.

No one is underrating Arsenal I just think it's the truth and Arsenal fans should accept that they are underdog against PSG. There's nothing wrong in being an underdog it doesn't mean that Arsenal can't win so why are Arsenal fans feeling bad whenever they mention PSG is the favorites. PSG has been dominating Europe since last season and their style of play is more convincing than Arsenal's so they have more chances of winning the trophy.

Yes Arsenal can win but do you think it's that easy holding PSG attack? They also work with a strategy so your imagination of locking the defense might not work as you see it. PSG has more motivated team spirit so doing that might be difficult.

Last season was an exception though, you and I both know that we do not see 5-0 results on the final games normally, that does not happen. In the last 20 years or so, we had only like 6 games or so where teams scored 3 goals or more TOTAL, let alone 5 goals from a single team, which never happened in the past 20+ years.

So we can definitely assume that it is not going to happen again, we are going to see that to be a rare thing. We need to be considering how this is going to be the type of game where we are not going to see the final be that many goals, or at least not expected it to be.
