Arsenal poured their hearts out onto the pitch and they gave it their all, it was just ruined by one cynical mistake and PSG took the advantage.

They gave us proper Vintage finals not the one we witnessed last season. PSG for all their attacking prowess couldn’t penetrate that defence.

It was certainly a great match and Arsenal defended exceptionally well in the first half and PSG was trying for long range shots as they were unable to penetrate the defense. In the second half though, PSG was able to break through the wings multiple times. Unfortunately for Arsenal, a mistimed tackle inside the box, gave PSG the opportunity to level the score through a penalty.

I wish Arsenal had been able to counter attack and score in the second half, but luck was not on their side.

Luis Enrique has built a formidable team in PSG, and if he remains as PSG head coach and PSG didn't sell some of their key players they might still win the Champions League next season.

I doubt they can be able to keep up till next season again even if they don’t sell their players. I can’t deny the fact that they’ve played extremely well in the finals and deserve to win in this finals just like Arsenal also deserves to win. The match was leveled, one side was attacking and one side was defending, that’s a whole lot during the match. Arsenal are still a potential winner of the champions league next season, this season is not for them and they need to buckle up and prepare better for next season. If they can do it this season, that means they have the potential to be able to do it again next season. Hard luck to them but I still wish them all the best in their prospective careers as a club going forward henceforth.

I can't believe PSG did it again.
It wasn't their best season when it comes to the French League 1 performance. They won, but had quite a few games when they lost points against much weaker teams. And the league stage of the Champions League was also far from perfect as PSG finished in a distant 11th place and had to go through play-offs. But that's all in the past now. All that matters is that they successfully defended their European Champions title.
Since the Champions League was introduced in 1992, only two clubs have managed to win the title in two or more consecutive seasons. Real Madrid were first, and they won 3 times in a row in the seasons between 2015-18, and now we have PSG.

A big congratulations to Louis Enrique and his team. I rooted for Arsenal, but PSG were the better team and deserve this win.

Arsenal didn’t even have a single shot on target apart from that goal; honestly, if Arsenal had won this trophy, I think it would have been a brilliant result for them, but they really couldn’t manage a single shot on target from the 6th minute onwards, and the match ended in a draw. PSG certainly deserved it, and I would have been disappointed if they’d lost on penalties.

First I congratulate PSG for winning the trophy and I still give it to Arsenal for the amazing performance against PSG to the extent that PSG were running out of ideas a lot of times to break their defense. It was a good display for a match of this level and I must say both teams deserved accolades for holding each other off so hard not to concede more than a goal. Arsenal remained unbeaten even in the the UCL final and only lost on penalties. I think they should hold their heads high, they try again next season, I'm happy for them at least they had a silverware this season from the EPL title

This would have been the best season so far for the English teams, but Arsenal couldn't make it happen. However, I thought they would gain possession after scoring the goal, but it was even more tougher than how they started the game. Kudos to PSG for going back-to-back. It's not easy to lift champions League trophy, lifting it back-to-back is really the best performance from PSG so far. It was massive performance throughout the game.

Don't get me wrong but almost everyone is happy tonight apart from the arsenal fans who lost this game, because with the stats and gameplay it clearly showed who deserved the trophy more and am glad that PSG found a way and got themselves back in the game because it was looking as if they aren't going to score because arsenal literally blocked and defended so well.

PSG deserves the trophy and congratulations to them. The moment the game got to penalty shoots, I had a strong conviction that PSG was going to win and that is because I know  their players are good at penalty kicks, Arsenal players are better on the pitch playing, so I just hoped they got lucky but PSG got the win they deserves.

Actually both teams did played so well but I would have taught that Arsenal was going  to not be too defensive because the penalty PSG got somehow resulted from them been too defensive and caused them that, it was one they could have avoided by balancing the game, because this their tactics of going all defensive after getting an early goal does not work all the time.

If not for the penalty advantage PSG had to score their first goal, the game would have been so tough for PSG that I'm not sure they would have won, because after Arsenal's first goal it was very difficult since the defense was so strong that PSG couldn't penetrate Arsenal. Luck was never on the side of Arsenal because they played very well, and I'm very proud of Arsenal. Despite the fact that Arsenal was lucky to win the Champions League, their performance has shown they are really Champions League material, and I won't be surprised if they get to the Champions League finals next season. I like the fact that PSG looked pressured in the game, but they still managed to get through.

The chance is still there of course even though the Champions League is sometimes very difficult to guess especially for the league phase until the quarter-finals but still Arsenal's chance still remains at this time.
We cannot close the fact that Arsenal's progress in recent seasons has increased in terms of results such as when they were always in the runner up position but this season managed to get trophies in domestic competitions and in the Champions League when 2 seasons ago they ended up in the quarter-finals, last season they ended up in the semi-finals and this season they reached the final it indicates that their progress is increasing every season.

So by looking at this factor we cannot underestimate Arsenal because the same conditions could happen even though for probability problems in the Champions League there are always some other big clubs that have a greater probability than Arsenal.

Once PSG were into the quarter finals, you would agree that they were up to something. Beating Bayern Munich proved just how obsessed they were in winning the UCL for another season. Though, they didn’t manage to get goals like we hoped and only scored an equalizer from a penalty incident, they were able to handle their penalties with a great deal of calm. There wasn’t any nervousness for the players that came up to the spot kick and they executed it perfectly.
Raya tried to give Arsenal a good chance at winning but, it wasn’t all dependent on him eventually.

PSG are now the second team to win two UCL trophies in a row as I previously noted that Real Madrid won two UCL trophies in a row. The manager of this team has contributed the most to winning the UEFA Champions League again tonight and I personally think that Dembele is the hero of today's victory. The French player was able to equalize the game by successfully scoring a penalty, as you can see that Premier League club Arsenal were in control of the match until half-time but Arsenal's mistake was that two of their players missed penalties, PL club Arsenal's attempt to win the UCL Trophy was unsuccessful after England and Brazil players missed penalties, it even seems to me that Arsenal might be content with winning the title in their domestic league this season.

Arsenal really played so well in the match, I was surprised with the kind of performance which they put up today, I never believed the match was even going to get to penalty shootout. Arsenal played a defensive game which I think affected them a little bit in the match, pressure was just too much on their defense, and I noticed that PSG defense wasn’t so strong in the match, if the Arsenal didn’t play a defensive game after scoring their first goal, they might have opportunity to score more goals in the match.

Honestly they really do their best, because a lots of people was not expected that kind of performances from Arsenal but they where shocked after they see the Arsenal game right from the first half. Shall that’s the football both of them try is just that the penalty shootout is very dangerous and all about luck, I couldn’t blame Arsenal even the coach he use good tactics in the match.

The match ended as draw, and I will say penalty is all about luck, and PSG were lucky in the match to win the penalty shootout in the match. Actually PSG played well in the match, and they deserve the win.

PSG had a great luck by the penalty that was awarded to them in the second half, and that their penalty goal build more of their confidence to give Arsenal pressure, but with their defense try enough with their wonderful attacking.

PSG have carried this trophy back to back and then many people think that Arsenal will it defeat a PSG because of the earlier goal that is being scored around a 6 minutes after the match started, but it was surprised to people to seem that Arsenal lose in this match because of elector mistake they made, actually this match was against PSG from the initial but immediately equalize it is when I know that it is going to be a tough one so I am glad that PSG win the trophy back to back

Most people who said Arsenal were the favorite team to win the match were Arsenal fans, because nobody who truly watches football and has been following the Champions League would say that Arsenal were the favorites to win. PSG were in a better position and seemed to be the better team because of their style of play.PSG were really good in attack and, at the same time, solid defensively, even though they may not be as strong defensively as Arsenal. But, let's be honest, both teams played very well and both deserved to win the Champions League. However, luck plays a role in football, and in the end, it favored PSG.

I don't expect anyone to say that Arsenal did not try this season. Reaching the final was not an easy task. But congratulations to PSG for winning it back to back. PSG coach has shown how good and experienced he is. The Champions League trophy that PSG had been chasing for many years, spending heavily on quality and expensive players to achieve, is now theirs back-to-back, even without some of the world-class players many people expected would be the ones to help them achieve it.

I have already commended Arsenal for not allowing PSG score a goal in the first half, Arsenal choice of playing a low block game in the first half gave PSG the advantage to pass them in both ball possession and passes completed. You can see the evidence after PSG levelled up against Arsenal through the penalty spot in the second half PSG ball possession reduced because Arsenal came out to play football. If Arsenal had dragged ball possession in the second half before PSG equalized Arsenal could have won the Champions League but their low block game made PSG to score through the penalty spot.

I think PSG became too comfortable because Arsenal allowed them to control the game for that long in the first half. And I don’t know if I’ll say Arsenal made a mistake by straying to press on the second half. I think Arsenal started off well even though PSG seems to have dominated possession, I still wonder what would have been their fate had it not been for that penalty kick.

Arsenal actually loses hope in this match right the time the Paris Saint-Germain equalised the game scor3 by Dembele,  Arsenal's decisions were not okay again, if not if we are to sat the truth, even from the possessions I know Arsenal may lose this match, though they really tried their best seriously, expecialy as they had the opportunity to score the goal at first and it was an early goal. The problem Arsenal have is attackers, they really lack attackers but when it incomes to defensive game they are good, in facts i strongly support and salute Arsenal for that incredible advantage, but I know many people weren't happy as the match ended in the favor of Paris Saint-Germain, PSG really mean to lift this trophy again as they did last season. Well Paris Saint-Germain deserves this win and I must congratulate them for that. Well play to both of them.

As much as we all know that Paris Saint Germaine were the favorites to win today's game, we can't shy away from the fact that Arsenal really played good football. They didn't create too many chances but they also stopped Paris Saint Germaine from creating goal scoring opportunities in the final third. The North London club rightly deserves to win but luck wasn't just on their side to win today's game. The entire Arsenal team will leave Hungary very disappointed with the result however, I think they should be proud of what they've achieved so far this season. They have the opportunity of winning it next season.

Arsenal sealed their defense in the first half of the match, but PSG were just able to score a goal in the second half of the match. The match was so interesting to me, and the two teams played well in the match, Arsenal were not just lucky to win the champions league title this season.

Arteta knew PSG is having a strong attack, and the best approach is just for him to play a defensive gave, he tried in the match, because Arsenal displayed how strong their defense is today, but they couldn’t win the champions league title this season.

Arsenal was playing as if this was premier League match and also they forgot that there opponent isn't a kind of team that such pattern of play will work for. Arsenal was planning to win PSG with the goal they scored in the first half and this is very wrong. They have uses this pattern against Burnley and some team in premier League and it work for them but this is PSG with good attacking midfield. Arsenal was trying to defence there one goals till the end of the game and this was were there failure started.

That their one goal pattern only work for non big teams in EPL because it wouldn't work for Manchester City and the rest big teams. So, I wonder why they brought it here in the finals because PSG is a big team in their domestic league.

However, Arsenal played better than my expectations because they were able to play PSG with superb attacking force till the extra time to penalty shootout before they lost the game. Arsenal should try harder next season.

The penalties were incredibly weak by Arsenal and the German commentary said that it is crazy because all those substitutions took the best strikers off the field. Well, as usual for penalties, they take place after 120 minutes, so if I were to prepare players for a penalty shootout, it is those players who you usually don't take penalties. Missing two penalties like that is reaaaallly bad. All this mess with delaying the run up and stuff (first penalty missed), just take the ball, take a few steps and hammer it onto the goal. Don't be too precise and the chance to hit is still 75% I guess. Missing the goal entirely is a nightmare.

After all Arsenal has delivered an impressive fight given the players both teams have in their line up. PSG has the stronger team on paper, but Arsenal did a great job. It isn't really fun to watch, but it is what they had to do because they aren't the attacking machine that PSG usually is.

It was interesting to see how much trouble PSG had to get through their defense. No creativity etc.

I will not say that Arsenal did not make it, they did but the one thing that differentiate between the league winners and the losers happened today, it was not on ground that would have favoured both teams but there most be winner and there must be a loser, that is what happened to Arsenal but the history is there and wouldn't be forgotten, they did the most interesting thing that many people didn't expect them and they well with good slide.

If Arsenal can play the Premier League and take the second place for 3 times consecutively before they later become the Champions of England, they are coming back next season and my come back to this final and two things very sure of their consistency. The next season might not be PSG but if they meet with Arsenal for that game, they will come hard for them without them expecting anything from Arsenal.
