Kairat didn't want to look embarrassing in front of their fans & hoped to play in the UCL for the first time, those are 2 reasons that made the team that didn't dominate the match achieve success in the match. Looking at the match statistics, Kairat only had 32% possession, while Celtic had 68%. Despite this, Kairat had more shot attempts, shows that Celtic squad were playing around with the ball for too long & were confused about creating goals.

Chelsea have the history of winning the Champions League in the condition of the team not going well in the English League, but this season cannot be used as a reference that Chelsea can repeat the same thing. Of course all crucial positions in football and I don't think Chelsea have not lacked good players, it's just that so far it has not been fully maximized in contributing to the team.

Chelsea have made quite a number of changes to their squad from last season, it is normal that after making many changes that they team will need time to play together and build good team chemistry so I think Chelsea are currently lacking that connection between the players especially the incomings. Congrats to Kairat Almaty, even though we can't expect much from them in the UCL, at least they have made history for their club.

I want to also give Bodo Glimt of Norway their props. They have just recently qualified for the Champions league competition for the first time ever. Last season,  I wanted them to win the Europa League Competition if Manchester United wouldn't make it to the finals but they were knocked out by the same Tottenham Hotspur. The qualification gladdens me, I read they have brilliant and exciting young talents. We will see more of them when the CL kicks off.

I think that in the match between Benfica and Fenerbahce, it’s not worth talking about any surprises, because both of these teams are even more worthy of playing in the Champions League group stage than Almaty and Pafos. Chelsea players are getting comfortable playing together after their first league game performance where they couldn't score they came back stronger against West Ham United and score good number of goals now talking about the connection between the players I believe they played together during the friendly's and the preseason games they ought to have gotten used to each other by now but then if they keep playing together with time they will understand themselves better and their connection will help them to have a good outing this season. They have a bigger task ahead of them the EpL and the champions League they can't fail to understand each other because that's the only way they can have a good performance in the competition this season.

Many times new arrivals change the fate of a team because they don't find much affinity with each other, but I have to say that there are many players who, once in the team, manage to do very well and have fun and make others have fun and play well with their teammates too, so it's not a given that they don't get along well with each other.
