The reason for this might sound petty to some but it's really a serious issue, ATM players trained at the Emirates stadium but it rain and of cause they continued. After training they went to the locker room to have a hot shower but low and behold there was no hot water for them to bath with, considering the rain, it wasn't ideal to shower with cold water so they left with their drenched body to the teams bus. Just this evening, it's also reported that Arsenal has apologised for that  though.

I disagree with you that Barcelona is playing with their second string squad because I only saw on or two players that isn't in their main sauad. The rest players are Barcelona main squad so don't over hype them. It's clear that they're playing better than Olympiacus in the first half as they dominated the game and won possession.

Some players are rotated but still with the mentality and experience of the players on the field today, of course we still see a big difference in terms of quality.

At the moment the first half is over and Barcelona are 2 goals up and things like this are becoming very natural for Barcelona now.

He's wrong or he doesn't know what it means to play with their second-string squad, its only 2 player there that aren't regular starters. A coach normally rotate players especially when they're playing weaker teams in order to rest and save the key players both from fatigue and for stronger matches ahead. So far they're playing fine and the rotation seems to be working well although Olympiacos just reduced the deficit down to one, but Barca is very much expected to win this match.

You're right, your position in the domestic league side never determines what happens in the Champions League competition, rather it only gives you an edge over other opponent team to reason how tough you may become if they face you one on one. Home advantage do not have much to the advantage of the host team since the EUFA body wiped out the home and away goal advantage of a thing.

Atletico Madrid,  even in their poorest form shouldn't be taken for granted, they're like a dead lion when they not in form, let alone when they are currently in form.

Systems can fail and I think that was happened. According to reports, it was a plumbing fault and it was resolved after forty minutes. But the Rojiblancos had already left for their hotels before it was sorted out.

My guess it that was unintentional because both dressing rooms were affected. Atletico Madrid have complained to UEFA but I don't think that the Gunners will be sanctioned. The host were suppose to provide hot water bath but according to the rules it is compulsory during formal games and not informal trainings.

These two matches are indeed the most exciting. But I think betting on them will be quite difficult. Although many will favor Real Madrid and Arsenal, in the UCL I always see many unexpected results. So I'm hesitant to bet on matches between strong teams. I'd probably prefer to enjoy watching the game without betting. And I think this match is definitely one we shouldn't miss. I'm also curious to see what Real Madrid can do against a team like Juventus. But the Arsenal vs. Atletico Madrid match is equally exciting. Although I have a feeling Arsenal will win.

Real Madrid will be an easy game I do not care who says what. Juventus has shown that they are not as good as we imagined they are and they are not doing great at the league neither. Madrid on the other hand finds  a way to win, while they may not win the way we want them to or expect them to at least they still get the wins unlike Juventus and that is why I think Real Madrid will win.

Look at the way they have played so far, both teams, and you will see that Real Madrid is much better team and the results will show that as well. One thing I am not certain about is their defense because Madrid still has some missing players but at the end of the day even with lack of few players they are still the better team and they care about UCL specially more than la liga.

Well that's not so funny as it looks like you can understand Atlético's anger, because after warming up and training, going out in cold weather means running the risk of catching a cold, which means that sick players will not be able to play at full strength. In addition, this is an official Champions League game and the stadium must be fully prepared to welcome the visiting team.

Despite drawing their last league game; PSG is going to beat Leverkusen today.

This match between Atlético Madrid and Arsenal looks set to be a very close one, we could say. In my opinion, both Arsenal and Atlético Madrid want to advance in the Champions League. If we look at their league standings, then Arsenal are definitely the favorites, but we can't say which of the two will win.

There is no big deal about this, they can be furious about it but that doesn’t warrant that they file a complaint against them. Unavailability of hot water would be due to some factors they didn’t notice or could not control, and since they’ve apologized for that, it shouldn’t cause any more problems or long talks about the matter. Unable to take an hot water to bath at that time doesn’t mean they won’t get to take when they reach their destination they lodged even though it won’t sound pleasant without taking bath and go into the bus like that. This shouldn’t affect how they’re going to play, if they’d really trained well, then they can have a chance of victory in this match.

I'm today's fixtures The interesting matches I see there are Leverkusen vs PSG and Arsenal vs Athletic Madrid. These are two matches with a kind of trans quality that can give us some quality entertainment. My only annoyance is that they're fixed for same time and one cannot enjoy both properly. Arsenal has a good team and are in good form so they should try very hard to win Athletico Madrid at home because the away match wouldn't be at all funny. I'm picking PSG to win already, they're in good form and are the favorites in that match although Leverkusen playing at home puts them in a kind of advantage.

Those matches will be interesting matches to watch. All those teams are trying their best in every match, so in this case I'm expecting their match to be very tough tonight. I get your point, but honestly, I don’t think Leverkusen’s home advantage will help them much tonight. Yes, they’re unbeaten in eight matches, but if you look closer — the level of opposition hasn’t been anywhere near PSG’s. They’ve been leaking goals even against mid-table Bundesliga sides like Mainz and Copenhagen. PSG, on the other hand, look very solid in the Champions League. Six points from six and that huge away win against Barcelona says a lot about their current level. They had some issues in Ligue 1 recently, but that was mostly due to missing key players. Now the squad is almost back to full strength, and I expect them to show their real quality again. For me, PSG should have too much firepower for Leverkusen. I’m going with a Paris win here.

I know see the reason why chelsea were so keen on getting Ferran Lopez during the winter break, he has been so good in this match, already scored 3 goals and if he is not taken off I think he would score more.

After that lost at home to PSG Barcelona needed a big performance like this to keep them on track. They struggled a bit in the first half but after that red card by Olympiacos Barcelona make very use of the extra man.
