I believe that with the pedigree that Alonso has it will not be an issue for him to manage the players that are in Madrid because he is not strange to coaching big players the solution should be any player who fill that he is to big to take instructions and play as a team should be shown the exit door because no play no matter good he is can't make up a team
Xabi Alonso abilities were fully tested when he won the trophy with Leverkusen, now he is given the freedom to manage the team starting from the players he wants to bring in to the players who will be sold or loaned to other clubs. The presence of Gonzalo Garcia and four other new players such as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alvaro Carreras, Dean Huijsen, and Franco Mastantuono makes it easier for him to manage the team, which then depends on the strategy and the players' abilities in carrying out their duties.

He has also selected several names such as Ferland Mendy, David Alaba and several other players to be included in the outgoing list. At the start of his tenure, Real Madrid has made a major overhaul of the team, now the results are entirely down to his ability to manage the team to make everything he wants come true, especially winning the UCL trophy.

I sense big problems for Xabi Alonso with Real Madrid, this is one problem with managing star studded teams and if care is not taken this might cause him to fail. A team like this has to be managed carefully and tactically else things will go wrong. I really hope he finds a way around this issue to harmonize the team and build strong team work amongst his players.
Carlo Ancelotti was the perfect manager to handle the team. He is experienced and his age will make him command respect.  Zinedine Zidane would have been another coach who could have managed this squad of superstars. Xabi Alonso has already been given the mandate of managing the team, and the fans will have to be patient.
Expectations are high for Xabi Alonso, but perhaps he should be given a bit more of a chance. Although he played for Real Madrid as a player, being a manager is a completely different position. As a manager, he must know the team well and balance them accordingly. He must give each player individual attention, ultimately putting the best players on the pitch. Real Madrid is a team full of stars. I'm sure Alonso, who had a fantastic career at Bayer Leverkusen, will be able to handle this as well.
Xabi Alonso demonstrated his quality as a coach while coaching Leverkusen, and he's likely to do the same again with Real Madrid. While it won't be easy due to the pressure, given the players he has in the squad, I'm quite optimistic that he can perform optimally.
I think the high expectations for Real Madrid are understandable, as they are the most successful team in the Champions League.

If there is anyone to be well versed with the club then it would be Xabi Alonso, I mean the dude played as a player with the likes of christaino Ronaldo as his teammate and he knows the full demand of the club owner perez. I think if it's player wise, Xabi Alonso has the possible best players to work so it's left for him to put in the peices and strategy to make all this work because that's the only way forward.

Last season, Liverpool were actually the favorites and touted as the favorites to win the Champions League. However, it was a complete surprise, as the winner was PSG, a club that wasn't generally favored to win, due to its criteria and its ability to compete with other European clubs. Here, we can see that PSG is truly extraordinary.

But next season? Liverpool has signed several top players, as have Arsenal and other top clubs, so be careful and watch for the results.

Liverpool still aren't going to be the favourite to win, I think PSG still has it in them to eliminate some of the favourites that we might have as Liverpool, Arsenal and Real Madrid. Liverpool have signed some new players but they don't have a stronger squad than PSG. The champions league isn't going to favour any of those clubs I mentioned and we shouldn't be avoiding mentioning some underdogs in the competition because the games they play might just favour them and before we know, we'll be seeing them in the finals just as how the FIFA club world cup favoured Chelsea and they didn't have to struggle to get to the finals.

Champions League 2025/2026 will be different from last season, I can’t mention any team that can win the UCL next season because of the way many teams are strengthen their squad by signing more players, every team wants to make sure they perform well next season, UEFA Champions League is the only trophy that some clubs are dreaming to win next season, most especially Premier League teams, Premier League teams are signing top players from other clubs to strengthen their squad for next season.

With what happened last season, it will be very difficult to predict any team that will win the Champions League next season, even PSG are not the favorite to win the Champions League next season with what Chelsea did to them in the Club World Cup, after Chelsea defeating PSG I believe that football can not be predicted, next season Champions League is going to be tough than last season.

Alonso still has to choose several players to place in more suitable positions if he wants to see Real Madrid improve in the Champions League and their domestic league. Real Madrid's performance in the Club World Cup has been less than satisfactory, so Alonso must conduct another evaluation to correct any shortcomings before the season resumes. Since we will all soon be witnessing a new season with various changes within each team, Alonso must be prepared for this.

The Champions League is becoming more exciting. Every team competes to win their own league to play here. It's a tournament that elevates a club's reputation in Europe. Success here impacts your team's future. Furthermore, because teams now play eight matches, they have the opportunity to generate more revenue. This strengthens their financial standing. The pre-qualifying rounds aren't over yet; all teams competing in the Champions League will be determined after they are.

Being part of it greatly raises club reputation across Europe and can even decide its future success. On top of that with new setup where teams now get to play eight matches instead of fewer they have fantastic opportunity to bring in much more money.
This extra income really helps to make them financially stronger. We are all eagerly waiting for  pre qualifying games to wrap up. Once they are done we will finally know all teams that will be competing in what is shaping up to be even more thrilling and competitive tournament.

Both Brazilian players are truly talented. I remember Endrick scoring a magnificent goal from outside the penalty area last year; he can't do that every month. If given enough opportunity, he could be a finishing striker for Real Madrid. He might have the potential to be as effective as the phenomenal Ronaldo. They might loan him out to another team for a year to show his potential, but he has the potential to become a key player for Real Madrid starting next year. As for Rodrygo, we all know how important he is to Real Madrid. If they want to let him go, they need a good alternative. In my opinion, he should stay with the team and continue to compete for another year.
I am 99% sure he can't be as good as old Ronaldo, he is good there is no doubt about that but at the moment we need to see what the reality is which is the fact that he is just a talented kid but that's it. Phenom was something different and it would be near impossible for anyone to stop him. He was both strong, fast, agile, and very talented all at the same time. Only downside was that he was mostly injured, and because of that he didn't became the greatest ever.
And Endrick will not be as good as CR7 neither, to be fair I do not need to explain why. But if one day Real decides to part ways with Vini, then Mbappe could move to left ,and Endrick can be their striker, he is good enough to give that chance at this level.

Agreed, Endrick isn't gone replease Ronaldo just yet. He has shown a small sight at real Madrid, netting 7 goals with little minutes he was given and also was very impressive Copa del Rey displays where he equalled Cristiano Ronaldo achievements. He is a strong attacker which flourishes from deflections and his left- foot precision, but still not delivering at the highest level every week. In the meantime Rodrygo, which is highly skilled and was praised by Jude Bellingham. He is a key player when he is in good shape. But with competition like Mbappe, vinícius and new stars like Arda Guler all fighting for the lineup, his time ahead in real Madrid might end, unless he becomes more reliable and influential

For me, that's still within reasonable limits, as the player characteristics at Madrid are different from those at Leverkusen. Alonso may need more time to develop a suitable strategy. Adapting to Madrid is much more difficult, as I predicted. Since the majority of players are star players, they will have higher egos than Leverkusen players. However, as time passes, Alonso will be able to analyze the results of the Club World Cup to improve his strategy for La Liga and Champions League.

When he played for Madrid is very much different from now, the set of players he is meeting now are not the same that played with him as team mates and a whole lot must have changed between these times which will require so much adjustments on his side and seeing what he did with Leverkusen where he had almost no big name players but average ones and he got them to become known alongside the team, a lot is expected of him with Madrid and I want to believe with time he can achieve as much and probably more than has been expected of him. Understanding the psychology and dynamics of all of the players is something he will need time to get in place.

Let Alonso build his dream team club, then wait him to prove the worthynes of his club in UCL. It's kinda BS when we talked so much about him, but yet to see how good or bad his club in UCL. I hope his club will be as competitive as what they used.  Cheesy
Xabi Alonso is currently trying to develop a different strategy than Ancelotti's, and we'll see what the results will be. We shouldn't judge too soon before seeing the final results. He might need a season to assess the character of Real Madrid's players. I think the results will be visible in the second season, and I understand that.
As a young coach, I know he doesn't have the same experience as Ancelotti, and becoming a successful coach takes time. There will be times when the club will decline, and there will be times when the club will stabilize and improve. But I hope he can manage Real Madrid well without any serious problems.

It won't be easy for Alonso to manage a star studded group of players, but Alonso already had a lot of weight at Real Madrid as a footballer. He will also have natural authority as a manager. The disciplined football he played at Bayer Leverkusen was clearly embraced by the players. He knows how to work with young players and how to set limits for the stars. Alonso knows Real Madrid, the culture, the pressure level and the media. If the management shows patience with Alonso, he will definitely become one of Real Madrid's legends as a coach.

Xabi Alonso is a great coach and his doing very well, when he was in Bayer Leverkusen he did very well and they lifted trophy, during the time when he was coaching them they where so strong and inform, they defeated almost all the team that played match with them he used his players very well, I really don't know why Bayer Leverkusen allowed him to go knowing fully well that his a great coach, the coach they now signed can't take them anywhere however let's see how next season will end.

Xabi Alonso will perform very well in real Madrid Because his a good coach, yes he played in real Madrid and now that his coaching real Madrid he will have things more easy for him, I know playing and coaching is different but he knows that real Madrid is a great club and those not accept loss so he will do his best, yes there are a lot of expectations from Xabi Alonso let them give him enough time to get to know the club and players very well.
Real Madrid has good players already all what Xabi Alonso has to do is no how to use them to win trophies for the club.

He just needs to understand what is happening to the team, the difference is that he is currently coaching a much stronger team than Leverkusen and he needs to understand that there are standards to be met at those levels which are much higher than those of a mid-table German team, even if he has done very well he needs to repeat himself if he doesn't want to leave immediately.

I think Xabi Alonso could be a coach capable of many years of success at Real Madrid. He seems to have learned well from his years of playing football how to play with young players and how to intervene in the game. I've read from the memoirs of several players that even as a player, he used to create formations like a manager. Now, his role is strictly coaching. He wants to be at the helm of Real Madrid for many years. I'm sure he has the talent to achieve this; it just takes a little patience.

Yes by implementing this new format each competing team has the opportunity to earn more revenue from broadcasting rights, sponsorships and ticket sales compared to the previous format but behind this new format, with the addition of two matches, the players do not have much time to rest because of the tight schedule and the tendency to experience injuries is very likely to occur, I myself actually tend to prefer the old format but I also don't want to miss out on the new teams that are given the opportunity to compete due to the additional quota given by FIFA.

Real Madrid's future is now in Xabi Alonso's hands

Carlo Ancelotti built Real Madrid single-handedly. Real Madrid was full of stars from the start. Carlo's job was to keep all these stars in the right place. With age comes respect, which Carlo Ancelotti earned. The stars of Real considered Carlo a friend. Carlo could not only make a big impact in La Liga. Since their standard of play had been the same for several seasons, the Real management team felt that they needed something new. So this time they planned to give Xabi Alonso a chance.

Alonso is an experienced coach. But he has never played with so many star players. Even if someone has playing experience, it is still very difficult to suddenly manage a team that is in someone else's hands. But we saw his coaching skills at Leverkusen. So we can trust him.

But in reality, Carlo Ancelotti was a safe hand for Real Madrid. And Alonso is an investment for the future for Real that will take time to pay off.
Carlo Ancelotti's skill was to keep a group of stars together, we all know that footballers, especially the strong ones, if they all play together are unmanageable because they are all prima donnas and always want to play and be the centre of attention, Carlo was fantastic at this, he knew how to manage the boys very well

I don't know why anyone will feel that Liverpool is the favorite to win UCL this coming season when we have other big clubs that are as deadly as Liverpool. Last season when Liverpool was in their best form, they couldn't make it to the semifinals. In UCL, you must start fighting to be the champion from the quarterfinals and you cannot get to the finals by luck as Chelsea did in CWC. You must kick butts.

There is no doubt that Alonso is a talented coach. However  the situation of leverkusen and Real Madrid is completely differrent . Leverkusen did not have many star players. So Alonso was able to manage the squad completely as he wanted.
On the other hand , Madrid has a lot of star players. And we know that it is very difficult to control a lot of star players.
As well, Leverkusen's target was only to secure the Bundesliga title. But Real Madrid is interested in winning the Champions League, laliga and Copa delrey. And they will want to perform well on every platform. Continuing the good performance in such a busy schedule is a very difficult task. Alonso definitely needs some time to make this squad stronger and more stable.

Ancelotti built Real Madrid single handedly? What year did he start coaching Real Madrid? 2014 and you think it was his squad that started it? Hell no, Mourinho brought back the glory days of Real Madrid, even though he himself didn't win the Champions League with the team but he brought back hope to the club even before Ancelotti came on board. I respect Ancelotti a lot but you can't put Mourinho aside in the build up to the Real Madrid team.
Real Madrid doesn't matter how many players or coaches have passed through there, it has always been an important club that has always had very important figures who have always been passing through, certainly there is a lot of turnover and if you don't win you will be easily replaced, unfortunately this is what happens in a big club, like a big company

I do not see Madrid in a position of having players who are not suitable but maybe players who may not completely align with xabis principles and play tactics,  for such he must look for substitute or changes completely so it does not affect his results he will be getting by the end of the season at Madrid.  Just like every other coach when they come new to a team xabi will need the time to do all of this  which you have mentioned, not all of it can be completely attended to before  the new season resume so some may be corrected in the new session.

Laugh almost kill me your view as truth is always bitter, I don't think I can resist your saying as the true facts, my people always said that for one to know the true nature of frog the tadpole is enough to use and identify it's true nature. Liverpool just as we know had the opportunity last season but couldn't make it, their weak point last season is already a Case study to many of their opponent though anything can happen in football but they only succeed if their force is double before quarter final .
