The sheer number of clubs representing their domestic leagues in the Champions League doesn't guarantee they'll win the title. You've provided a good example of this, as Paris Saint-Germain eliminated clubs from the English league one by one last season.

Winning the Champions League isn't easy; you have to be better than the best in the competition. Even when a club plays well, there will always be opponents who can thwart them. And it's not just strategy; luck sometimes plays a role.

even though premier league teams have quite a lot of representation in the champions league, i don't think their chances of winning the title are that high. clubs like real madrid, barcelona, PSG, and inter milan are very strong and currently have a greater chance of winning the champions league compared to the premier league teams. although it is still too early to predict, with these teams being so aggressive in the transfer market and having greater squad depth at the moment, they seem much more prepared to win the champions league title.

Tottenham qualified because they won the Europa League, which is great. The Premier League will have six teams representing them in the Champions League next season.  Even though Tottenham didn't play well last season, they have a new manager and have made a few changes to their squad, so I don't think they will perform bad in the Champions League next season. Since the team is also performing well in friendly matches, we might see some changes in their performance for the next season.

However, I am not expecting Tottenham to win the Champions League, but I don't think they will be eliminated easily as we are saying. Arsenal has a good squad to fight for the Champions League. But signing Gyøkeres will not only help them win the trophy, but also needs their attacking players to perform well throughout the season. I expect them to find another left winger because I am not satisfied with Martinelli performances last season.

Arteta is not to depend on Victor Gyokeres, but use his players as usual. The only advantage is that whenever, the ball is in their opponents box, Arsenal has someone that they can pass the ball to and he will make a clean finish. At least, those wasted opportunities wouldn't be that much next season, because Gyokeres is there to convert them into goals.

I believe this judgement is based on what you have seen for sometime now and I would not say you are wrong because Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are really doing well currently and with their signings, yes there is a possibility they will do great this coming season but football can be very hard to predict sometimes, what we see sometimes maybe seen or look convincing to us but later we will see and realize we were wrong. Sometimes the strength of some teams will not be known initially but as the league progresses, you start seeing teams outperforming the teams we had in mind and so we can not only judge and predict but we can not determine it.

Having the highest representatives isn't even a guarantee to winning it, after all last season they had 5 teams representing and the league entirely had Arsenal as the last team from England respecting the league and they were thrashed by PSG in the Semis with a 5 -1 aggregate score line. I still won't be surprised if non of the English teams makes it to the semis this time around though.

You are right looking at the arsenal startup apart from the regular starters the arsenal bench really lacks quality so if at any point any player gets injury it becomes a problem to the squad because they don't really has enough quality players that will be coming from the bench to replace the first team starter so they really need to strengthen their squad depth.



These are one reason that arsenal should have allowed Thomas party to stay because he may not be consistent but he really has  quality inside of him he can be coming from the bench because this current arsenal team will have problem middle of the season when the first team players get fatigue

Arsenal have consistently improved under Arteta, but that doesn't mean they "automatically" have to win the Champions League at some point. Firstly, other teams are also improving, and secondly, there is some randomness to this achievement, maybe they are less lucky than others. And at the moment, several clubs look significantly stronger than Arsenal, so if Arsenal again goes far into the Champions League, even without winning it, it will be considered a normal/good result for them.

I agree with that randomness part. Man, I still can't forget about the way Chelsea won the Champions League 4 years ago.

I don't think anyone is discrediting Arteta for all the good works he has done in the Arsenal team and for helping them remain consistent in their good performance but they have to step up the performance by showing trophies for it they can start by lifting the league title if the champions League is too big for them due to the level of competition in the tournament.
Arsenal has been lucky they just need to have a strong squad that can face opposition they should target the league title first before trying to win the champions League.

Manchester City did not perform well last season, although they made a comeback towards the end, but it was not enough to overtake the number one and number two teams in the points table. Manchester City will play with the same team last season, so considering this, Manchester City may not be considered a favorite, but experience must be evaluated. Manchester City's manager has enough experience in managing the team, so he will definitely try to take Manchester City to a good position again next season.
Along with the three teams you mentioned, you should include Manchester City because since this team has performed well in the past few seasons, it may not be too difficult for them to make a comeback if they can perform as planned with their current team.

Well that's the beauty of football, for me one of the best matches that has ever taken place, PSG perhaps got a little confident, of course drawing conclusions Luis Enrique would say that it's a team that did nothing in the PL, that in the Club World Cup it's another thing, then as PSG is the European champion , there's not much to prepare for a match, Luis Enrique didn't expect to lose at all, he was Pleasantly surprised, it seemed to me that in that match PSG came out very confident.

Premier League have six teams participants after Tottenham Hotspur become the UEFA Europe League winner and this season have five slot teams qualifying. Comparison with Premier League team have bigger chance for winning UCL I don't think fair regarding they have 6 teams participants because in last ten season La Liga have more dominance teams become the winner than Premier League teams. Last season, only Arsenal have highest achievement in Champion League after success qualifying until semifinal round but eliminated by the PSG.

No doubt with current transfer activities of Premier League by spending much money than other domestic league, but I don't sure yet for Premier League team will be the winner of Champion League. In my opinion La Liga team more favorable such as Real Madrid or Barcelona for winning UCL trophy next season than Manchester City, Liverpool or other Premier League teams participants.
