They won for 2-0.
Even if they scored 2 goals they suffered and they were able to score only in the final stage of the game.
But as always the only important things are the 3 points.

This is a really surprising result that am seeing here that PSV will be losing by a goal margin of 1:3 at home I don't know what goes wrong in the part of PSV in this game or is just lack of form but one thing is clear this is not the PSV that we use to know.



Last season in the Belgium league Saint union Gilloise was very impressive and I was one person that didn't take them that serious but with a result like this I can say that this was not a mistake, nice one for Saint union Gilloise as they got all three points from this game.

It's fair to say this is the first time I've seen PSV play such poor and incompetent football. They weren't productive at all today.
With this style of play, they'll pick up very few points in the Champions League this year, and many teams will easily beat PSV.
US Gilloise won 1-3 but couldn't score any more goals.
It's good that Gilloise started with three points. They'll also face Galatasaray in Istanbul, and the Gilloise I've watched are certainly not easy opponents.

Everything is going against me right now.    Probably most people too though. PSV are losing to USG 2-0 home shockingly. Arsenal still couldn't score but they are more likely to win compared to PSV at least.

But man, what happened to PSV? As you can remember they had a really good run in the Champions League last season with 14 points in league phase.

However currently they are just about to lose to a much worse team at home...

That's the ups and downs that comes with certain matches and this match is definitely one of it. On a good day, PSV was supposed to win but this is one of the matches that makes us say, anything can happen in football and it has happened. Union St.Gilloise were not the better team in terms of play but they were the better team in terms of converting chances.

If someone told me that PSV will lose this match I would not have agree because they are good and they even have more form than Union St giloise. I was just expecting the least draw from them but they couldn't draw the game and losing first match is not always good because your moral will be down. Kudus to Arsenal on their victory, it was a very nice play in Athletic Bilbao's home though Athletic Bilbao also played well but Arsenal is not their mate and English team is always superior most times because they played hard game than some countries but arsenal need to improve more in case they meet bigger team like Bayern, PSG and Barcelona.

I was thinking this was going to be an easy match for PSV on papers, but when I saw what their opponents were playing I speechless because they gave PSV no chance. PSV couldn't cope with the fast game of Union St.Gilloise, and the Belgian side were more physical than PSV players. I asked myself that if these guys are this aggressive at away what will they do when they are playing at home. I really enjoyed that match, if they continue like this, they will go far in this year champions league.

arsenal struggled throughout the match but ultimately managed to win with two goals. in my opinion, they could have scored much earlier, as they had quite a few chances. in fact, if you look at the statistics, arsenal is well ahead of athletic club in terms of passes and ball possession.

martinelli, who scored the first goal, had only been on the field for 36 seconds after coming on as a substitute for eze. perhaps without this substitution, we would have witnessed a goalless match; it was an excellent goal. martinelli also contributed an assist for the second goal, directly contributing to both goals scored. some arsenal fans dislike him, but we can say he was the player who saved the match.

Hope that Arsenal start the Champions League season with a win. Bilbao lost a home game this week against Alavés, so they might be a little shaken by it. My money is also on PSV, and maybe a little surprise from Villarreal  .

Don't you think Bilbao decided to slow things down with Alaves because of the game with Arsenal? Giving a direct win to Arsenal can be a risky bet because Bilbao will be playing at home and they can't afford to lose this game after losing to Alaves over the weekend

The game has ended and the winner is decided, Bilbao couldn't keep up with the English club. Anything you think Bilbao did during their game against Alaves didn't yield any outcome in the champions league, Arsenal defeated them brilliantly and conveniently.

PSV also lost the opener, i nearly had my bet on them but didn't include the bet. Real Madrid are losing 1-0 in the first half.

They played well beyond expectations. I was one of those betting on PSV, and unfortunately, my bet failed. Watching the match, I understood why, and I wasn't surprised. Saint-Gilliose really didn't give them any chances. Although PSV scored a goal in the final minutes through Van Bommel, it certainly didn't have the impact to turn the game around. They struggled to find chances and barely got into the game.

The match was a bit easier for Arsenal and they had a better chance of winning. The main reason for this is their team strength and the correction of previous mistakes. They had problems with their attack in the last few seasons, which has improved a bit this season. But we can't say how much has improved right now, we have to wait and see for a few more matches. I think the current team is worthy of playing in the knockout stages of the Champions League, and they are even strong enough for the Super-8 or semi-finals.

It's a fun match to watch, and I expect more goals.

The coach always fails in every season in several competitions but always understands the mistakes that occur and make it a lesson to get the right tactics.

I knew Arsenal will defeat Athletic Bilbao tonight, it was a tough halftime, Arsenal wasn't pressing as expected in the first half, they had only one corner in the entire first half.  In the second half they started pressing forward after their make two changes.  At times start with experience players, and win your game before you can test other players. Arsenal will still win Athletic Bilbao at home next week, Arsenal will get to the semi finals.

Psv vs Gillosise shocked me,  psv lost at the ok me by 3 goals to 1, such a disappointment in the front of a home fans, I never expected such defeat, I stake psv to win but as we know football is unpredictable, if you're watching the Madrid match you will see how Madrid are struggling to break marseill defense. The game is so interesting to watch, it's full of qualities from both sides. Lastly Real Madrid Will still win. Marseilles are playing impressive football.

The moment I saw Arteta chose to go with three defensive midfielders, I knew they'd struggle like they did against Liverpool ^{[e.g., passing sideways]}, but luckily, Martinelli was on fire today.

The main issue with him is his inconsistency, and despite his assist, he's not suitable for the LW position ^{[IMO, he's more effective as a striker]}.

The goal was just keeper error. Luis Jr. Punched the meal into the net as though he played Tottenham to first score in his betslip. Although Tottenham is doing well but they're not having that attacking coordination that produces very good results. Richarlison is a selfish player, he would've returned the ball to Spense which could've seen them doubling their lead

I think it's Mbappe stored in the final minutes against passing the ball to Mastatuono, Madrid May be leading by now because it opened up clearly for him to take that strike but he was generous enough to give Mastatuono who wasted the chance
