Barcelona will win this match; the match will soon end, and they are leading already. Although before the start of this match I was expecting either a draw in this match, but unfortunately the influence of being at home did not work for Newcastle, and it is so discouraging for them to lose this match when playing at home. I know Barcelona is a strong team, but when playing with Newcastle and at the same time in their home, there should not be too much of a gap in performance just like this one.

Barcelona struggled to penetrate Newcastle's defense throughout the first half, but they broke the deadlock in the second half through two Rashford goals. The first goal was a well-placed header, followed by a goal from outside the box, which was his second. Barcelona's performance looked good until they took a 0-2 lead, but they became unbalanced and under pressure from then on. Newcastle managed to force Joan García to concede, but Barcelona still managed to maintain their 1-2  lead until the end of the match.

Rashford's success in opening his scoring account this season is a sign that he can still help the team win matches. Hansi Flick has placed his trust in him and Rashford is starting to repay him with good performances. Lewandowski was substituted without scoring in this match, but this wasn't due to a lack of performance, but rather the difficulty of breaking through Newcastle's defense.

Nice win for Manchester City as they won comfortable at home 2:0 is a good way to start their campaign in this year's competition the early red card that Napoli had really affected their performance but as for city two goals with all three points is a good way to kickstart their champions League campaign. Napoli does not always give us the expected performance that we hope to see as the Scudetto winner in the Champions League. Rashford rediscovered his scoring form today for Barcelona against Newcastle, it was a very tight game for Barcelona and Newcastle were so strong in defence that it was like Barcelona were without a striker.
Marcus Rashford was Barcelona savior because I did not see any other way for Barcelona to get a goal if not for individual brilliance.

Rashford really got me surprised tonight. He was so frustrating in the first half. He kept on losing the ball and he couldn't even get past any of the new castle defenders.

 It was as if Barcelona didn't pay for his dribbling abilities in his loan deal with Manchester United. He really had a bad game in the first half. I was even hoping he would be taken off at halftime.

But then, out of nowhere, he came alive in the second half and scored that banger. Honestly, I won't be surprised if his second goal wins the goal of the week. What a beauty that was!. I wish he would keep going this way.

Manchester City as expected is beating Napoli, for 2-0

This is the match I was glued to and in the first few minutes, Napoli was pretty much in the game but the red card killed the game. If not for the red card, I don't think it would have been an easy game for Manchester City. Conte was forced to make tactical change but it wasn't enough to hold off City.

The match ended 5 - 1. I knew Frankfurt could win but I wasn't expecting such a scoreline. Galatasaray fans would be very disappointed by the result, especially after their activities in the transfer market.

Honestly, I was hoping for the same thing, especially after they scored the opening goal early in the game. It was clearly a great start, but in the end, they weren't able to put up much of a fight because Frankfurt completely destroyed them with a score of 5-1 at Deutsche Bank Park.

Osimhen's absence may have been a slight setback for them, but it wasn't the main reason for their defeat. Looking at their lineup, I was actually quite optimistic that they would deliver something exciting, but in the end, they weren't able to make much of an impact.
Their performance wasn't too bad, but their defense was chaotic during the match, and the two own goals really destroyed their morale.

Napoli got a red card in the 20th minute and still managed to play the whole of the first half without conceding. They even tried to play over 70 minutes with 10 men and conceded just two goals.
Sometimes, don't just look at the score line of a match, look at the context too. Even before the match, Manchester City were already favourites, plus, they were at home, so imagine how much advantage it would be for City when Napoli were reduced to 10 men. Because of the red card, De Bruyne was sacrificed for a defender. Man City would have most likely still won without the red card, but the red card was a big disadvantage to Napoli and it made things easier for Man City.

You definitely observed the match so well he was definitely so poor in the first half but came alive in the second half that I was most certain that he was talked to during the second half team talk because right at the start of second half he was electric and was everyone trying to add an impact and finally if payed off for him.

For me this goal actually did come at the right time for him because even the rumours of Barcelona trying to cut short his loan deal is definitely going to trigger him. With Yamal out of the squad for a while now this is the perfect time for Rashford to get a nod and even win the managers heart, so scoring this goal is seriously a huge one for him

What doubt about Barcelona and Manchester City. Barcelona played against the Newcastle team and the fans, everybody knows that Newcastle is a city that loves the game and after a while coming back to the champions league they came out with their speaker like voices backing their team.
Barcelona’s defense did not show any weakness Kounde, Martin, Cubasi and Araujo has terrific performances. Kounde blocked every cross from coming in as he can and Barcelona were without Lamine Yamal. I didn’t not watch the Manchester City match but a red card for Napoli and a victory means that city were good today.

We were deeply disappointed. No Galatasaray fan expected this result. It did not suit us at all.
The absence of Osimhen affected us, it was a match we could have won, but we lost.
Our next match will be much tougher, hopefully we won’t concede as many goals against Liverpool, because Liverpool is far stronger than Frankfurt.

It was a good game and a very competitive one today I was impressed with Newcastle Mentality from the beginning but playing a false 9 cost them the game because they had a couple of chances which they failed to convert in the early minutes of the game. If the chances were converted the outcome of this game would have been totally different because Newcastle would have been in control of the game because of the home advantage. They failed to convert their chances and they were punished. Good goals from Rashford even though he struggled at the beginning of the game, he misplaced some passes and lose some possession carelessly but got back into the game and got two goals, his individual brilliance helped the team today. Elanga was also a bright star in the game but all his efforts were not converted.

At one point I really thought Newcastle united can really hold Barcelona to at least a draw at home.

I'm seriously disappointed at Galatasaray because E. Frankfurt is not much of a big team that they should trashed 8: 1 Galatasaray without any serious resistance. I predicted Galatasaray but when I realized that Galatasaray have no real Champions League experience, I had to remove that match from my bet to avoid regretting it. I was right and lucky that my decision worked.

The performance of Galatasaray is so surprising because I never expected them to perform so low against Eintracht Frankfurt because Eintracht Frankfurt isn't a big team, just like you said, and Galatasaray should have held Eintracht Frankfurt to a draw match at least to earn a point, but it seems that Galatasaray not playing in the Champions League regular is making them to perform poorly anytime they have the opportunity to in the Champions League.

The Champions League games are actually going as expected, almost all the big teams won their matches. These games played according to the odds of the bookies but i wondered why they gave Newcastle a lesser odd, don't know if it was a mistake from the bookies because Barcelona is stronger than Newcastle but i was surprised to see the bookies give them a 2+ odd. I see no weakness in Barcelona but the team am having some doubts is Liverpool, i don't know why they keep conceding goals in their matches, any game they score above one goal they must surely concede a goal and what troubled me in the match against Atletico Madrid yesterday was the fact they they were leading by 2:0 but Atletico equalized the 2 goals, if not for die minute goal that was scored by Virgil Van Dijk, the match might have ended in draw which shows a great weakness in Liverpool especially their defenders.

I dont need to explain much, if only you watched the opening game of the UCL competition. That was Athletics Bilbao against Arsenal, you wont be asking me about players who turn up when the team needs it most. Martinelli and Trossard came into the game in the second half. It took Martinelli less than 66 seconds to score the leading goal and just in less than 6 minutes he gave the other substitute an assist to seal the win. From what Manchester City played Napoli tonight,I don't think the Italian giant will ever forget it in a hurry. Napoli only had a single shot in the entire game while Manchester City had 23 shots and 805 passes in the entire game. Napoli couldn't stand a chance against Manchester City, they were outplayed. Napoli suffered a red card and were one man down in the first half, Di Lorenzo exit from the pitch weaken the defense of Napoli and Manchester City capitalize on Napoli weakness. Napoli were lucky that Manchester City weren't in their best form and if not for the brilliant saves from Napoli goalkeeper vanja milinkovic - savic, Manchester City would have succeeded in netting more goals in the game.

Exactly, there's no doubt that these five clubs have a greater chance of winning. However, I was a bit hesitant about Man City vs. Napoli, because Napoli is in good form, while Man City is sometimes inconsistent. But fortunately, Napoli received a red card in the 21st minute. So Man City's advantage became even greater. In the end, they were able to score 2 goals and Napoli 0.

And there's no doubt Haaland is always on the scoresheet. Now, he's even become the fastest player to score 50 goals in the UCL, in 49 games.

Yeah that's true and this bother me to some extent because I literally vouched on Barcelona to win that game and seeing how the bookies continually increased their odd was something to check and take note of. But i guess even the bookies do get their speculation and analysis all wrong because Barcelona turned up tonight and played very well thanks to Rashford for finishing the job and securing the win.
