WEll seems like Real MAdrid and Juventus destroy a lot of multibets yesterday, for sure a lot of us was waiting and expecting to see a lot of goals in the games where the big teams plays against each others, and in fact we have quite a few with high ammounts of goals like PSG Leverkusen and Eintrach Liverpool, but REal Madrid and Juventus failed to achieve it and it was a shame.

I had a bad feeling about that game because they are two teams that aren't doing well at the moment both in their league and the ucl. Barcelona recent decline in form has been due to injuries to several key players, and Hansi Flick defense has not yet found a suitable replacement for Martinez. Hansi Flick had difficulty selecting players for the starting XI, culminating in a heavy defeat to Sevilla.

Yamal is back, I think the they still have a good team to continue performing well despite the couple of other key players still injured.

The victory over Olympiacos was with an imbalance of squad. Olympiacos was reduced to 10 men just after putting one back and It contributed to their being thrashes a big 6:1. Maybe the result would've been different if they were complete. I don't see that match as a clear message to Real Madrid.

I think the referee played a role to their defeat, he was very bias with his judgment, and the VAR couldn't even help the situation, it's very unfair and I think these referees have to start receiving serious punishment whenever they make the wrong calls because it's ruining football gradually.
 I'm not saying Olympiacos would've won the match if their player wasn't carded unfairly but let's be honest, maybe they would've stood a chance cause the rest of Barcelona's goal  came after their player was red carded, I think their players would've gotten frustrated after the run judgement of the referee and it caused them to concede more goals.

At last someone see it from me very view, I mentioned this earlier, maybe yesterday or so but no one agreed with my view. I was very sure of the register I watched and saw how the referee bias ruined that match for Olympiacos including the red card and Rashford five that was given as penalty. I've also been attentive to the news to see if the referee would be cashed to order and possibly sanctioned but all to no avail. Barca and R. Master are always favored but that of Tuesday was very obvious Olympiacos was robbed.

This round was really an interesting round filled with goals and I am sure everyone was satisfied. Both fans and gamblers were happy with the results because everything went as expected. The big teams got the win and also the goals and made it very interesting for the fans.

PSG and Barcelona got the most goals but almost every team except Real Madrid got 2 or more goals but I think it's because of the opponent, but they got a stronger opponents. It's good that they got the win and got the 3 points. The game was really not easy for both teams, they both played well and entertained us. I expected more goals but both goal keeper were at their best and saved a lot of goals.

Overall, I see the competition for the trophy this season as quite competitive, even the battle to finish in the top eight of the standings is very tight. However, I believe Bayern Munich will not face any significant difficulties in advancing to the round of 16.

Bayern Munich has always been a good team and they always qualify for the round of 16 as long as I can remember, so saying they will qualify for the round of 16 is not something new, because they have been a fantastic team and are in a very good form,, so I am seeing them just qualifying,  bur they are also one of the favorite in my opinion. For the group stages of the champions League it's not necessary whether any team wins all their games and top the group.the most important thing is to qualify from the group stages the main completion starts after the group stages . Because in the group stages a team can actually win lose one or two matches and still get back to track just like PSG that almost got eliminated in the group stages of the champions League last season.but got back on track and went ahead and won the trophy so for this stage of the competition I will not jump into conclusions about the performance of the top teams in the champions League yet let's see how they will perform after the group stages.

UCL football comes with sparkling, this is what we should be looking at, to see Real Madrid at the top because they deserve it. Real Madrid survived the game and lead Juventus with 1 nil. This is the Real Madrid team that have been formidable this season, knowing how they're able to bring upon themselves some vital results and bringing out some vital information which led to them topping other oppositions on the UCL table. Xabi Alonso is more than careful when handling his managerial role at Santiago Bernabéu. He's the manager that wants to see everyone win, he's not keeping any slide excuse and will always do everything to ensure winning is very secure themselves.

What more could it be than that! OP is only looking at the current state-of-the-art the team and judging by their position when he had completely forgotten we have a new system.
Apart from Liverpool, Arsenal and Athletico  also got knocked out at this rounds , I'm not sure anyone was expecting PSG to change all of a sudden and still won it despite fighting elimination with just 2 points in the group stage.

It is true that Juventus played well and the way Real Madrid played it seemed like they were saving their energy. I felt like Real Madrid didn't use all their energy. They played well throughout the match but only scored one goal which was very unexpected. Some of Real Madrid's shots seemed like they were playing haphazardly because a mature team like them had 26 shots and only managed to put 9 on target.

I think Real Madrid didn't show their full energy in this match, maybe they were saved their energy in preparation for the upcoming El Clasico match.

The sad thing about that is the fact that we have seen Real Madrid not play the best game they play, and yet they still won. Juventus played the best play they can, and they still lost. That shows the gap n quality between good teams and great teams.

Juventus is better than 95% of the football world, only a few teams in Italy, and maybe a dozen or two dozen teams in the world that are better than them, and yet when they are facing the top of the top, you see the gap between them. This is why UCL is so ruthless, while you may end up winning a game, anyone can win one game, but to win the whole thing? You have to be extraordinary. Honestly, when Juventus suffered a bitter defeat against Como FC with a final score of 2-0 in Serie A, I had high expectations for Real Madrid that they would score more goals against Juventus, especially since the match was held at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, what was unexpected was that Juventus put up their best defense in that match, forcing Real Madrid's players to work hard to break through Juventus' defense.

On a slightly different note, it is quite interesting to see the performance of the former Real Madrid player who currently plays for Como FC. Under the guidance of coach Cesc Fabregas, he has become more mature and sharp on the field. In 7 matches with Como FC this season, Nico Paz has recorded 4 assists and 4 goals. As long as the season isn't over, even if you are leading, there is still a chance that you will win that is, if you have earned enough points. However, if you have earned enough points, winning is now assured, but aside from that, anything can happen.  I won't even debate because Bayern is playing well and has a high chance of winning because they are continuing a strong performance. And Bayern was a club that was looked down upon and now see how they are performing and people were looking down on Kompany. They hardly lose so they have all the criteria that will make them qualify to be among does that are winning the trophy, there attack and defense are well to do, so it means there structure is firm, am sure they should be able to manage all form of obstacles.

Both teams have shown some level of professionalism in their games and I much commend how their defense were so strong that not so many goals were allowed to be scored. Real Madrid encounter a tough team likewise Juventus also. I am really seeing that match as one of the most interesting matches to have been played that week. What matters most was the win and the team that earned the win was Real Madrid which was also well deserving judging from how they played to secure that win.

I don’t know why you have so much hope that Napoli will be able to do something this season, because both in the domestic league and the Champions League, their performance is very poor. I don’t see any form of improvement in the team. Just take a look at the game they played the day before yesterday, does that performance shows that they would be able to do anything better? No. So why will you have that much hope in them? Although everyone has their own reason, maybe you see something that I didn’t see, and I will never see any potential in Napoli this season.

Coming to a conclusion about a team like Napoli because of a poor outcome in their last match in the champions league is not the best because they still have other games to play which if we’re not careful, we will see them prevailing over their counterparts and will do something better as team this season compared to what they’ve done so far. I am not putting too much hope in them but when they do something exceptional, I will commend them for that.

The passes of that team were also low in this match and these were 267 and Real Madrid performance was at top in all sides as their training was hard .

Look at it from Arsenal point of view. They have lost one game this season and everyone was worried about them being second again. But what happened is, they are leading premier league right now, and they won all of their three games on UCL as well, nearly guaranteed the top 8 position at this early stage.

So, we should be expecting a situation where we are going to end up with a much better situation for them, it is not going to be that crazy to see this happening at all. They are having a wonderful season and staying in front of them isn't that easy and understandable to lose to them. Last season it was Liverpool at the top, we assumed them to be the favorite as they continue conquering every opponent they played against in the league phase. Staying at the top of the table may not be all that is needed to guarantee winning the Champions League but it keeps a team ahead and makes the run easier especially when among the top 8 and don't have to play 9th to 24th knock out playoff, round of 16 is where the competition begins, it gets serious, even the smallest teams are going to be headache to deal with, more the round becomes shorter the difficult it becomes.

I remember there game against Chelsea. Every football lover would expect a tough match from Benfica against Chelsea. Our point was that, since it's Jose Mourinho, Chelsea's former boss, it would be easy for Chelsea at all, and considering the fact that Chelsea weren't in there best form, that the match be very tough, and at least, a draw or just a one goal margin. But we saw how the match played and ended. A 3:1 defeat against Benfica and Mourinho, coming from a weak Chelsea side.

We saw Newcastle defeat them again 3:0 two days ago without even scoring a goal. Like I said before, his tactics are fading and failing him. If he must become better, at least for his name sake, he should adopt something new or seek for advice, lol.

I have always supported Chelsea, I think they are one of the best teams around and that this year they will do great things, even if everyone expected that they would not repeat the success of the Club World Cup, but I think that everything is possible.

Chelsea performance isn’t bad this season, they were able to easily win their last match which were against Ajax, Chelsea used some of their young players, and they were still able to get a win in the match. If am mentioning teams that are likely going to win the champions league this season, then I don’t always mention Chelsea, because they are not so consistent this season, sometimes they do perform well, but in some matches, their performance is always dropping so low.

Chelsea were able to win the FIFA club world club which came as a surprise to everyone because we never excepted it, everyone underestimated Chelsea during the FIFA club World Cup, and they surprised everyone. I feel we shouldn’t expect what happened in FiFA club World Cup to happen in champions league, Chelsea are going to find it so difficult to win the champions league.

The Blancos played really well, but the result was not overwhelming. This is good news for Juventus, who can still hope to qualify despite having only two points in the standings.

Napoli is a very good team with an incredible performance in all competition and also blessed with the gift of identifying true potentials in every player they have. When they bought Rasmus from Manchester know one believed his true potentials could materialize so soon as it did just now. So there inconsistent performance in few games now is never a sign of weakness but just a mark of challenges that i know they will soon get over it very soon.
