Manchester City right now needs all the courage necessary to make sure they win their next game because losing it again to Galatasaray might deepen their wounds and can affect them I'm other competitions therefore making them to finish poorly in this season. Guardiola is a good coach I respect so much, well disciplined and always knows how to technically maneuver out of difficult situations of this type, surely City would rise above this before end of the season.

You must be an Arsenal fan to seek towards Manchester City's doom but what I can actually tell you for free is this, Arsenal are the sole architects of their problem of not winning the EPL despite going close to it three seasons by. Should Arsenal maintain a powerful form and be consistent in winning their own games I doubt that Manchester City would be of any concern to them.

We might project Manchester City to be the better of the two teams but, this is surely not an easy fixture for Manchester City. Galatasaray is a good team and with players like Victor Osimhen back from the AFCON and in good scoring form, they would give City everything that is expected of a champions league fixture. Manchester City even aren’t at their best but, it’s a game they could win if they keep the pressure and game plans tight.

Either way the fixture doesn't look easier for Galatasaray and they could only be lucky to get pass Manchester City with a win despite having the Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen back from his national duty. Osimhen alone can't really do much if the entire squad doesn't play as a team. Where my major concerns are pressed at is in City's defence, it has being loose lately, giving rivals opportunity to find the back of their net, still, my guts are that City won't lose this game.

I do understand Arsenal winning every game isn't equal to winning them the title at the end of the season, and they could end up losing too, but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with them losing neither, both are possible. They can win or lose, but they do look good so there is a chance.

That game was mentally won by Manchester United fans and players and this mentality is thanks to Ruben Amorim. Not just the mentality but also the defensive nature, reactions and movement they had when they're not with the ball. I'm still not getting carried away but good thing they won against Arsenal.

As for Arsenal?! They'll return back to winning ways today with multiple goals scored. They need to be ruthless henceforth in goal if they're to win the Premier League Competition. There will be many good matches today, Galatasaray have a really difficult game, but I still think they have a chance because City are not in their best form right now. Although I expect Guardiola to field his strongest possible lineup for today’s match. It’s very good that Osimhen has returned at such a timely moment, but it’s important to keep in mind that this will be an away game for them. At the Etihad, City will most likely win. Especially since I think Guardiola is aiming to finish the group stage in the top 8. Even if Galatasaray lose, they will still have a chance to qualify for the next stage of the playoffs.

I don't think what happened to Arsenal against Manchester United will still affect their performance because if that happened today definitely it will be a big problem, Arsenal have to learn from that to correct their mistakes. In Champions League arsenal have a very excellent performance, I don't know of today's match but even though they are defeat they still remain at the top. Arsenal will Continue their good part in this champions league to win the trophy.

Many people hope so, but I see from another side that Man City's performance has really declined in their last 2 matches so in the next match I have a little doubt about them even though Man City really needs a win to be able to finish in the top 8 of the standings, but I see realistically that it will be very difficult for Man City.

I think that's a bit too optimistic a comment; I don't think Galatasaray will have much of a chance in this match. A team that can't even establish sufficient dominance against weaker teams won't be able to do anything against Manchester City. I think Galatasaray will concede 2-3 goals quickly and then won't be able to do anything for the rest of the match.

Wonder if we’ll see any big teams struggle to make top 8 tomorrow and be forced to play an undesirable playoff to make the last 16.

A quick look at the table shows Barca, Man City, Atletico, Inter, Juve and Dortmund all out of the top 8.
I just hope Liverpool can beat Qarabag to guarantee at least 4th place and hopefully then get a favourable tie in the last 16.

Liverpool is doing pretty good in UEFA Champions league, they got 2 wins and 1 loss at home, beating both Madrid clubs are impressive while losing humiliatingly against PSV is also big concern, now they are having fair chance of staying at top 4.

Their last defeat against Bournemouth was shocking, but they have good players who can make things surprising on their day. February is not going to be easy for them, they need to give their best in this match which will allow them to have good spot with fewer games because 2 qualifying games can increase their problems, big win could be always welcome.

Yes they do, City's defence has not been the best of late, even though they managed to keep a clean sheet against Wolves last time out, with help from their new signing Marc Guehi. Pep's team is still susceptible in defence and Galatasaray can take advantage of that.

That said, what a finale to the league phase we are going to have tonight. There are about 8 teams all on 13 points each, and they are all vying for that automatic qualification spot. It is situations like this that make me love the new CL new league format, even though it adds extra games for the teams that do not make the top 8.
