The main problem of Benfica as a team becomes when they play in the away condition, in their home they make good games and play strong but when they are away and far from his people they play really bad in some situations.
I only expect a close game in Portugal and a big win in Madrid for Real Madrid.
It cannot be denied that this is indeed an interesting topic of discussion, but one thing to keep in mind is that Benfica often delivers unexpected surprises, especially when playing against big clubs. Their squad is getting used to competing with the playing style of their opponents, even though their defense is still not strong enough to withstand attacks. However, this can be covered up with deadly attacks. what is amazing is that they are good at seeing the momentum to score goals. Honestly apart from the crowd and fans of the home teams, home advantage is highly overrated especially playing on an average pitch as Real Madrid field when compared with bigger fields like Camp Nou, honestly if Benfica weren't so unpredictable, I would say they would trash Real Madrid if they put up that same level of performance from there last match because Real Madrid are really now showing any developments lately and I an hearing some reports about locker division again.

Benfica standing out in both legs? I think Benfica might not survive this stage though. I don't think Benfica will win Madrid in the first stage of the champions league tournament and still win them in the playoffs. This stage has two legs and I don't see Benfica winning any of the legs. Dortmund should find their way to the round of 16 without stress same as PSG as for Juventus they are up for a serious challenge and it takes only the most experienced to make it pass this stage.
Haha.. you think. Benfica against Madrid will scale through to the next stage. We can always go outside betting on this, i dont mind. Real Madrid is not in better form. As long as José Mourinho will coach Benfica, I trust his boys to win Real Madrid at home, while away they can draw, and win the game with an aggregate score.

The Leg 1 play off round will open with a big team where Galatasaray vs Juventus is a tough match, Dortmund vs Atalanta and Monaco vs PSG is a meeting with opponents from the same league should be able to see the results of the comparison every time they meet in their respective leagues. While Benfica vs Madrid must be difficult for Arbeloa to beat the opponent whose results last time were quite devastating to the spirit of the players. But I’m looking at the games not all of the games have favorites, games like Dortmund vs Atalanta there is no favorites in those games, but all the games are going to be an interesting game. Your opinion is quite right, because teams like Real Madrid, Juventus, Paris-Saint-German, are favorites on paper, and that have made other teams look bad, because we all feel this bigger teams are going to win the games, but we might be in for a lot of surprises, considering what Benfica did to Real Madrid in the group stages. Juventus playing away from home in the first leg is a good advantage for them and also Paris Saint German playing away from home is also a good advantage for them but when it comes to the Champions League this things doesn’t really matter, because you can be disappointed anywhere. Benfica and Real Madrid will be filled with so much action, considering that Jose Mourinho would be preferred for this game and it will be a good encounter that would have so much surprise, that is the game I’m mostly anticipating in the playoffs. PSG not making it to the last 8 was surprising to me because I was expecting them to qualify automatically and I was also surprised that Real Madrid didn’t make it automatically. I think Dortmund is a small favourite and I see their chances to advance to the next round at maybe around 60%. The game at home is a bigger avantage for Dortmund as they have proven internationally that they can beat any team at any time in their home stadium. In the Bundesliga Dortmund so far lost only one game and have the second best defense while it is looking much worse for Atalanta in Serie A. They were now able to beat Juventus Turin 3-0, which I think should be a strong warning for Dortmund of course.

The statistics do suggest Dortmund have a much better chance of winning this match, but they also need to be wary of Atalanta as they can sometimes cause surprises, as they did in the Europa League before beating Leverkusen in the final. Leverkusen were quite impressive under Xabi Alonso, having been undefeated at that point, but Atalanta was able to beat them. In the Bundesliga, Dortmund are the best team after Bayern Munich, but the Champions League is sometimes very different, although I'm optimistic about Dortmund's chances in this match.

No one will argue that madrid's squad is very strong. Madrid also has the ability to win by a large margin against Benfica. But we all know the problem. Madrid is still not able to play well with manager arbeloa. We saw Madrid's performance against Benfica in the last match of the first round. Madrid lost 4-2. Madrid performed very badly. If it weren't for Benfica's manager mourinho, no one would have talked about this match so much. Firstly , mourinho is the manager of Benfica and secondly, Arbeloa has very little experience. Will Arbeloa be able to catch mourinho's clever tactics ? If not, I would not be surprised if Madrid loses again.

If we see a big surprise in this playoffs round I guess that would come from Bodø/Glimt. Even though they collected 9 points and joined this stage by finishing as 23rd you have seen what they can do. They literally destroyed Manchester City 3-1 home and beat Atletico Madrid away 2-1 right after that! These were like the toughest fixtures for them. But thanks to these huge wins they made it to playoffs... Bodo has truly achieved some of the most surprising results. Who would have thought that such a small team could beat both Manchester City and Atletico Madrid? They also played quite well against Dortmund and Juventus. Perhaps they will never be one of the favorites in this tournament, but they have managed to become a team that everyone respects. I don't think they have much of a chance against Inter, but they will still do their best. Teams don't make mistakes in playoffs; they will come to the match completely focused, and Inter will beat their opponent

The chance of Real Madrid winning Benfica is 50-50 because their last match was a total disappointment for Real Madrid to be embarrassed by a club like Benfica. I believe that Arbeloa have learned a lot from that defeat and will come up with a strategy to counter and outplay Benfica on that day because they need to stay in the game if not it's gon be a bad record on the Champions League favorite.
I would not say it's 50-50% just because of the last game. Last game was a mishap and Real Madrid normally plays a lot better, this is why I never liked h2h results of teams because you look at one game and you think they are remotely close. The likelier chance would be Real Madrid winning both games very easily. I am not saying that is what will happen, because it's football and of course anything could happen which happened last game, I am just saying odds of it happening again would be very low.

Real Madrid is indeed having coaching issues at the moment, as the players are still showing a greater sense of ego when directed by the current manager. But for the playoffs, I'm more confident that Real Madrid will perform differently to achieve a better result. A win in the playoffs would be a fitting recompense for the poor performance they experienced against Benfica at the end of the standings. But as you said, Real Madrid must really perform well in the playoffs to avoid a similar experience against the same team.

Underestimating Real Madrid is not a pretty cool idea, you should rather have your thoughts within until the game is over Haha Is Jose Mourinhos Benfica in a good form, this is another tough question to ask yourself. The odds should have been a lot lesser if they thought Real Madrid to win but that game will be tough. The toughest of these games will be Inter Milan travelling to Norway to face Bodo at home. Take a look at how they dealt with Manchester City, Inter Milan should come prepared for war.

Real Madrid are going through a lot, but one thing I want you to understand is that Real Madrid have more experience in the Champions League. Even without a steady coach, they know their way out, and they will not just watch themselves get knocked out in the playoffs or even in the round of 16. I know Benfica beat them in the last game, but it was not an easy one for them either. I also know that Real Madrid played very poorly in that game, and from all indications, they will learn from their mistakes and make some corrections this time around. However, we don’t know what will end up happening in the game, there is still time, and Real Madrid might do better, even though they have a very tight schedule.

In the Bundesliga, Dortmund are the best team after Bayern Munich, but the Champions League is sometimes very different, although I'm optimistic about Dortmund's chances in this match. Champions League matches are indeed very difficult to predict because all the teams in the UCL are strong teams and indeed Atalanta could surprise us all, for example, they win against Dortmund. But it seems that many are favoring Dortmund to win in the first leg. And it seems I will also try to favor Dortmund when betting later because choosing Atalanta when betting in my opinion is very risky. But the match is still a long time away, but surely both teams will try to win and we will see who will win in the first leg. But in my opinion, the second leg will definitely be more exciting and it will determine whether Atalanta or Dortmund will advance to the round of 16. But I have a feeling that Dortmund will advance to the round of 16 because if Dortmund wins in the first leg, I think the second leg will have the potential to be won by Dortmund because usually, mentally, the team that wins in the first leg is usually always better in the second leg.

I agree that Real Madrid doesn't look very good right now. I think they'll struggle a lot in the Champions League. Even in the Spanish league, they're struggling to win matches they should be winning easily. Something has happened at Real Madrid, and the team still doesn't seem to have found its rhythm. We'll probably see a big change in the squad next year. I think there's a high probability that many players will leave the team. And this possibility isn't insignificant at all. Because President Florentino Perez is experienced enough to see that the team's performance isn't good. Therefore, Real Madrid might undergo a different restructuring next year. First of all, they need to bring in a good and experienced manager, like Klopp, for example. If that happens, I think Real Madrid could reach a better level.

Atalanta should be taken seriously by Dortmund, as in the Champions League any team can pull off an unexpected upset, as everyone saw against Benfica against Real Madrid. Likewise, Dortmund, who were favored by some before the match, will need to perform at their best against Atalanta if they are to secure a win against Atalanta, even though they are not widely considered the favorites at the moment. However, Atalanta could still pose a threat to Dortmund if they fail to perform well in the playoffs.

The main problem of Benfica as a team becomes when they play in the away condition, in their home they make good games and play strong but when they are away and far from his people they play really bad in some situations.
I only expect a close game in Portugal and a big win in Madrid for Real Madrid.
I predict Real Madrid will lose the first leg at Benfica's home ground, as they without Rodrygo and Asencio due to red cards received in the previous match. Furthermore, Real Madrid without Bellingham from the first leg due to injury. Arbeloa needs to implement effective tactics to dampen Benfica's attacks,as much as possible to avoid a heavy defeat at Benfica's home ground so that it is not difficult to make a comeback to overturn the deficit in the second leg when playing at home.

Atalanta showed a real strength yesterday that i didn't think they had by beating Juventus in the Italian Cup with a great 3-0 and it's really surprising because they beat a team that is returning to being among the top teams in Italy and Europe. this is really a positive sign and it could also work in their favor against Dortmund.

It makes sense. Missing those two important players are a big blow for Madrid. Meanwhile, they're literally garbge team atm. Their chance to lose during the first leg is getting bigger with the waves of injury they faced. I personally won't bet on them caused by i know very well how lacking of work off and on the ball has been their main problem that never gets solved. I also believe Mourinho will learn it very well from the last game. I won't be surprised if his club beats Madrid with the dark arts of football.

Haha..
I like your confidence to take a side bet on this but then let me point out one aspect that could deny winning on your side, Jose Mourinho is never Benfica coach at least not on record until he start coaching the club in the 2025 season, so no previous champion league experience for the Benfica coach if you are betting on Jose Mourinho to to win the match against Real Madrid.

They kick off on February 17th, and it will be a huge test for Real Madrid. Benfica will be aiming for another victory against Real Madrid, who are missing two players at home in the first leg. They played once and scored four goals; if they can do that again, they can advance. However, if they draw with Real Madrid in Portugal, I don't think they have much of a chance in Spain. Jose Mourinho has already done the necessary analysis to figure out Real Madrid. I'm sure they will give us a great match.

However, we don?t know what will end up happening in the game, there is still time, and Real Madrid might do better, even though they have a very tight schedule.
It's true that Real Madrid is facing many difficulties but this must not demoralize the team in any way, on the contrary they must take advantage of their mistakes to ensure that they put themselves in a position to improve their performances. these players know very well that they have all the skills to do well and to put the team in a position to win.
