They were very lucky against Rayo Vallecano that is why they were able to win. Their performance is not satisfactory at all. The understanding between the players is also weak. If Madrid's performance does not improve , it will not be possible for them to continue their winning streak. Madrid are fighting  for the title in both la liga and champions league platforms. I will be very surprised  if madrid can win the title with the help of Arbeloa.

I quite agree with you, Kylian Mbappe is an incredible player with great potentials and numerous abilities, he knows how to use the ball very well and he is also good with both foot. Mbappe can also play on either the left or the right wing of the pitch, above all, he could be used as a striker upfront which makes him versatile and unique. Real Madrid's squad is strong but the road to the Round of 16 is tough for them. If Mourinho was not the manager of benfica, I wouldn't be saying this. Mourinho is experienced, and he knows Madrid's weaknesses very well. And that's why Madrid couldn't win against benfica in the first round. Sacking of Xabi Alonso was not easy decision for Florentino Perez, but this brings good improvement in Real Madrid because now players are feeling comfortable which is always important for any club Arbeloa is caretaker but if he is able to keep things on good level most chance he could be next coach for them.

While at the end of this season, many options will be available which can overtake as well, having time and watching things around is good by Real Madrid management because many coaches are losing jobs and few are still having nothing into their way. Mate, It is foolish to compare Arbeloa with Ancelotti. Ancelotti is one  of the most experienced managers in the world. On the other hand , arbeloa has very little experience.

I checked his profile. He was  previously the manager of Real madrid B team. He was not successful with madrid B team either. After Arbeloa became the manager, madrid B team played 19 matches. Out of these, they won  10 matches and lost 8 matches. Madrid should have given the responsibility of Madrid to a more experienced manager.

Anyway, this season, Madrid will probably not change the manager. So arbeloa will have to continue to try to keep madrid's performance  stable. Arbeloa  should focus only on la liga. If Madrid is going to fight for both the champions league and la liga titles, they will not be able to win either.
