Galatasaray brought joy to Türkiye and especially their own fans yesterday.
They finished the first half 1-2 down, but were far superior to Juventus in terms of football.
After Cabal received a red card, Galatasaray played even more aggressively and won the match with a stunning 5-2 score.
If there had been 10 more minutes in the match, Galatasaray might have scored 1-2 more goals.
Juventus' chances of advancing are now dependent on miracles. Anything is possible in football, but I don't think Juventus will beat Galatasaray by 3 goals in the second leg.

No one believes that the game between Galatasaray vs Juventus will be full of goals, I thought it might end draw like 1-1 or 2-2 but at the end Galatasaray beat Juventus with 5 goals to 2, Juventus was leading in the game and at the end they conceded many goals, Juventus coach should have not make any substitution because for me he made a mistake by doing so, the player he brought on is the same player that was sent off, everything looks like Galatasaray have qualified for the next round because they are leading with 3 goals and the second round will not be an easy match because Galatasaray will not let them loss to a team that they are leading with 3 goals.

Lol Otamendi showing Vini Jr the World Cup, this match was something else and I enjoyed every minute of the match Real Madrid deserved that win and what a wonderful goal from vini junior, I believe that was the reason Otamendi had to show him that he has lifted the World Cup before, why vini has not done that before, but that don’t really mean anything because vini junior is far better than him and has achieved popularity through his good performances and today he helped Real Madrid to win.

Some Benfica players are not supposed to be a footballer because they don’t know what they are doing, after one of them allegedly insulted Vinicius in the game Otemendi is still showing Vinicius a World Cup tattoo in his body, Otamendi is 38 years old and he disgraced himself by doing that, he can not take lose that is why he was doing that, Vini should have respond to that wel by showing him his Champion League shirt and also told him that he did not contribute to the World Cup Argentina won, I think Argentina players don’t have respect to other players and if they continue to do this they will soo meet a player who play for Africa that will put them in their place.

I don't really see this as an accusation because he actually did it, because he has no other reason to cover his mouth with his clothes before talking if he is not trying to racially abuse someone, which he knows perfectly well is against the ethics of the game.
 It's just too disappointing that someone that is this exposed can be this foolish to racially abuse someone on the pitch, so uefa should do further investigation into this matter and punish him accordingly because he did it.

Of course, he shouldn’t have done that, but I think they understood that beating Real again wouldn’t be easy, so they resorted to different tactics, including provocations, trying to get Real’s players to react. Maybe they even assumed they could force a sending-off that way. I’m actually glad that Real won, an away victory almost guarantees their qualification, because I believe they’ll beat Benfica again at home. And even if they don’t win, avoiding defeat should be enough for them to go through.

Players cover their mouth (usually with a hand though) while talking on the football pitch all the time, even when they are talking to their teammates, so that doesn't automatically means he racially insulted Vinicius.

Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised at all if that happened given who was involved on both sides.

Since there is no way to confirm that he really racially abused the Brazilian player, as his mouth was totally covered. UEFA disciplinary bodies might depend on testimonies from witnesses. And Kylian Mbappé has confirmed that Gianluca Prestianni called Vinicius a monkey five times.

I wouldn't say that the French player is telling the truth because he might want to defend the actions of his teammate.  But if that is the case, Gianluca deserves to be punished. This is not a support for rascim but Vini should also learn how to respect opponents' players and fans. Excessive celebration after a goal can be provoking.

Last night, PSG completely dominated the match against Monaco.
They played very well, but in my opinion, they didn’t take full advantage of Monaco playing with ten men in the second half.
They won by only a one goal margin. They could have scored one or two more goals and secured qualification for the next round, but that didn’t happen.

Honestly at the beginning i was a little bit scared for PSG because before the end of the first half monaco was leading, but despite that i did not give up for PSG because the second leg is still there for them to host. When I check livescore i saw that they won the match, at least now PSG we have huge opportunity to qualify to the round of 16, I don't see hope for Monaco again because this was their only chance but they couldn't survive it.

I really don’t understand why some Argentine players can be so provocative. If what happened last night is true, such players should be banned from football.
I hope that next week Real Madrid will beat Benfica at home with a historic score and get eliminated that way.

I don't really know what was wrong with that guy, but it is so obvious that they could not play until they insult someone, all that was a distraction but finally Real Madrid succeeded, I can't wait to see the second leg for Real Madrid to make it to the round of 16.

I think that the gesture from otamendi is being interpreted the wrong way because what otamendi did was a normal banter we see in football so many times, and I believe that he wouldn't do that if vinicius junior didn't verbally say something provoking to him.
 Even in the footage, they were both laughing over it and I don't see why people are trying to make a meal of everything, where their is none.

The rivalry between Brazil and Argentina has always been there for ages, and it's never a new thing that their players took it down to the uefa champions league, but the good thing is that it all stays on the pitch, because if they meet each other on the street or in a place, they will always exchange pleasantries, so that is football to you.

The only disgusting behavior last night was the racially abusing of vinicius junior by the home fans and possibly the benfica player that covers his mouth while doing it, apart from that, banters is an everyday activity in football, which i believe are part of the game.

It might be their worst defeat in the history of the Champions League, I can’t remember the last time they conceded a lot of goals, the highest goals conceded in the Champions League this season was 4 goals against Dortmund, and it was a draw game. The manager was afraid of Cambiaso to get a second yellow card, and he was replaced by Cabal in the second half only to be sent off in 67 minutes. The red card ruined the match and they lost.

Osimehn has scored 6 goals in the Champions League, and he was unable to score in their last two games. He provided two assists against Juventus, having two assists and 6 goals in the Champions League group stage. If he do not score in the second leg, I believe he will get his name on the scoresheet if Galatasaray qualify for the round of 16.

There's nothing wrong with it. Ota and Vini are just mocking each other. The rivalry between them were not only in this game. But they have been on international rivalry before this. They were also laughed after that. It's a normal banter when you're showing your achievement, which far better instead of doing racist like what Prestianni. Kylian Mbappe has confirmed it by himself that prestianni the benfica player called vini junior a monkey five good times and that was why vini got angry and called the attention of the referee and wanted to walk out from the bench. Well the officials should look into the matter and then confirm what he really said and if it is true that he called vini junior a monkey then he should be ban from playing football for some time, I believe that will teach him a lesson. I believe if they were extra two players who could said the exact  thing against prestianni then the we can agree to what kylian mbappe said is true. prestianni must have say something it could have been anything and what if it wasn't black monkey. prestianni is a clever player that was why he covered his face before insulting vini junior so that nobody can read his lips. The game showed once again that Juventus is unfortunately not good enough for the Champions League. That is really sad, they have such a great history in the league. Juventus is a team that has been in the top 10 best teams almost every year.... but that is no longer the case. They cant afford to lose games like this anymore. Normally the defense is very strong in Italy, and that used to be the case with Juventus too. They massive failed in this game. That will probably be a question for a new coach in the next season.

Juventus conceded the five goals due to the red card, Juventus must improve their performances because red cards have been ruining their games recently. Kalulu was sent off in their last league game against Inter Milan, they suffered the same defeat since they were down to 10 men. Even though Juventus score two goals in the returning match, I believe Galatasaray will also score goal in the second leg.

Juventus are going through major changes, and the fact that they’re not in their best condition right now is clearly reflected in their position in Serie A. If they can’t compete for the Scudetto, then I don’t think we should have expected anything outstanding from them in the Champions League either. Juventus seemed less vigilant, even though if they had been more defensive, they might have had the potential to win. However, their performance in the second half was less than ideal, ultimately leading to them being unable to score again. However, if Juventus had been more careful in the second half, there was certainly a chance the match would have ended in a draw.

I also think Juventus will have a hard time winning the second leg because they will be mentally inferior to Galatasaray. A three-goal deficit is certainly no easy feat for Juventus, so now we'll see whether Galatasaray or Juventus advances to the round of 16.

Actually, Galatasaray played better in the first half as well, but Juventus created two chances and converted them into goals, leaving Galatasaray trailing 1-2 at halftime. However, a completely different Galatasaray emerged in the second half. They capped their magnificent performance with a second goal, and after their opponent was reduced to ten men, they increased their pressure and secured the best possible result. Scoring five goals against a team like Juventus is a magnificent achievement. Today, everyone in Turkey is proud of Galatasaray.
