Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's
computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be
reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Here's the LIE!!!!!!!!!!!! Shipping Schedule This is a Pre-Order product which is not yet shipping. If you're uncomfortable waiting until the development is complete and the product is shipped, do NOT pre-order this product. Perhaps undesirable, but this is a pre-order market. Customers flatly demand to get in line for the new technology before it's finished development. This has created a lot of drama for the manufacturers but it's something we simply have to deal with. All manufacturers in this space have experienced some degree of delay with their first generation ASIC. Every last one of them, so we're reluctant to give a specific delivery date. However, this is our second generation, so we have much greater clarity on the process and plan to begin shipments in March 2014. Orders are shipped in order date priority so any order placed now should be expected to be delivered in June.https://products.butterflylabs.com/homepage-new-products/1-th-bitcoin-miner.htmlWOW talk about Lying to your FACE, NO Shame!

In other news, just got off the phone with a nice District Attorney who is preparing a case against Butterfly Labs, who wanted to discuss and get more details on the complaints I submitted last year.
What do you know... The justice system works, even if the wheels do turn slower than we'd like sometimes.

At wall consumption. But still that's a lot of heat to dissipate, even for a thick push/pull 120 mill rad. I still think its possible, noise will definitely be a factor.

it actually would be funny if there wherent so many people left in ruins by this company.
why nobody burned their entire busines to the ground yet is a mystery to me. i think they got enough enemies by now. i would have done unspeakable things to this company and the lowlife who is their spokesperson ( cant remember his name atm).. something like those saw movies or something.

By the time you get your unit, if you ever do..... it will mine about the same btc as you would with an toaster oven hooked up to the network.

Yes. Well considering you could put 6 of these together (assuming spacing with risers and your mobo supports) that's pretty nice. It allows you to scale well as well. But since these are never shipping, it doesn't matter

maybe i`ll order 2 of them. i need something to keep my books from falling over on the shelve. they might as well just ship those straight to the computer history museum, they collect outdated hardware. maybe they can make a special BFL floor. hmm, those jokes are just to easy, i can keep going all night

That's what I'm thinking too! I thought those mining with your motherboards with a trillion cards days are long gone. BFL still living in the past, ASIC era now is all about racking them up in a datacenter in a thin form factor like Spondoolies Tech. Still don't know how Spondoolies fit all that hashpower effectively in 1.25 U form factor, but hey I guess that's what you get when you get a bunch of Intel, Google, Nokia guys together to make a kick ass ASIC! BFL still making mining PCIe x1 cards...LOLOL

I have a chip that hashes twice as fast as BFL's best chip, costs half as much, and ships two weeks earlier than their stuff. Send me your BTC and I will send you the chip. The company is named AFL2.0 or something that markets well.

Good idea, I have a toaster you can buy. It's a 54th generation toaster, so I know very well how this thing works This is the hottest toaster in the world. Once sold for 500 BTC, now on sale for just 200BTCI also host your pre-toasted bread for just 5 BTC per month. Edit after 5 Month: Ok, I got informed that this toaster doesn't have any network connection, therefor you get now a discount of 0.1m BTC

All your hosted toasters can be remotely overclocked (note the clock). Security is not an issue at our hosting facility (note the cameras). Anything hashed can immediately be obfuscated (note the not one, but two mixers). Before some smart-ass inquires about cooling all them toasters... At TMF (Toaster Mining Facility), we were the first to introduce internal cameras to view the innards of each and every Toaster Miner, making sure 24/7 that maximum hashing is achieved. Speaking of 24/7, a myriad backup generators stand at ready in case of the proverbial struck by lighting event. Unlike other hosting firms, TMF does not farm out its support center to some Third World Country, but is Red-manned right here in the US of A. Of course, TMF is not just a hosting facility for your precious miners. Far from it. We also build custom Toaster Miners, hence recently acquiring the state-of-the art overflow oven off eBay. The next time you're in town, please stop by TMF, whereupon our well-trained flock would be happy to give you the grand tour.

Orders are shipped in order date priority so any order placed now should be expected to be delivered in June.https://products.butterflylabs.com/homepage-new-products/1-th-bitcoin-miner.htmlWOW talk about Lying to your FACE, NO Shame! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsW9MlYu31gDude, like I said, if you're going to bring on the funny, at least supply the most appropriate video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpE_xMRiCLE At :38 is classic!

By the time you get your unit, if you ever do..... it will mine about the same btc as you would with an toaster oven hooked up to the network.
Good idea, I have a toaster you can buy. It's a 54th generation toaster, so I know very well how this thing works This is the hottest toaster in the world. Once sold for 500 BTC, now on sale for just 200BTCI also host your pre-toasted bread for just 5 BTC per month. Edit after 5 Month: Ok, I got informed that this toaster doesn't have any network connection, therefor you get now a discount of 0.1m BTC If you're goin' to bring on the funny, at least add a pic (or two, or three, or...). http://www.ralphkeyes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/toasters-museum-21.jpgAll your hosted toasters can be remotely overclocked (note the clock). Security is not an issue at our hosting facility (note the cameras). Anything hashed can immediately be obfuscated (note the not one, but two mixers). Before some smart-ass inquires about cooling all them toasters... http://blog.lightingcatalog.com/Portals/30822/images//museum_splash.jpgAt TMF (Toaster Mining Facility), we were the first to introduce internal cameras to view the innards of each and every Toaster Miner, making sure 24/7 that maximum hashing is achieved. http://images.gizmag.com/inline/oldtimecomputer-11.jpgSpeaking of 24/7, a myriad backup generators stand at ready in case of the proverbial struck by lighting event. http://www.vinsonfarm.net/photos/atkinson_engines.jpgUnlike other hosting firms, TMF does not farm out its support center to some Third World Country, but is Red-manned right here in the US of A. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VvnBfw3YfvU/UAmdQklqOFI/AAAAAAAAHKk/0GL-WpszHgQ/s1600/Female+Indian+telephone+switchboard+operator+-+%2522Helen+of+Many+Glacier+Hotel%2522%252C+26+June+1925.jpgOf course, TMF is not just a hosting facility for your precious miners. Far from it. We also build custom Toaster Miners, hence recently acquiring the state-of-the art overflow oven off eBay. http://st.houzz.com/simgs/fbe167d70261b1c9_4-4220/mediterranean-grills.jpgThe next time you're in town, please stop by TMF, whereupon our well-trained flock would be happy to give you the grand tour. http://wallpapersus.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/chicken-men-funny-subway.jpgAll things considered, I think your imaginary toaster will hash faster than BFL imaginary monarch. Heck you might get ROI for the kick and giggles where monarch never will!

you guys wanna laugh hard? I mean REAL hard?? look at this BFL forum and see all the idiots who are upgrading their 8 months old Monarch orders to this "Imperial" monarch by paying $744 !! https://forums.butterflylabs.com/monarch-discussion/8075-2014-mar-4-monarch-discussion-30.htmlI really do have sympathy for new miners who get caught by BFL.. but for an idiot whose been promised a 3 month wait, then waits 8 months only to buy more!? wtf is wrong with people

I suggest without payment receipt and proof of an order number in an order queue I doubt that is a real person ordering. There are so many faux accounts on the forums at BFL I bet that fake accounts out number the real ones that are active. The customers they trap tend to have a 1 time horrible experience and learn from it. If you see people buying a 2nd or 3rd time they are being paid off more often than not. See BCP as an example. He was such a great customer he bought a 300 gh/s "on sale". He knew they wouldn't deliver or he'd have bet the farm the way he backs BFL.
Sad to say but anything on the BFL forums is pretty much a single voice and has little to do with what real customers want or expect in this market. Antminer if you want something now. Spondoolies if you want to wait a little more. One Strings from Ben are shipping now so those are few options. Not 14 months and still no 28nm chip... you can't reasonably believe that BFL is going to ship these things at all do you?

Hey, it's the renegger again! How's that FRC treating ya? I see it's down to $.011 cents now, hows that $7000 bath feel? So sad you crowed over your great investment (when you were supposed to buy $2800 of BTC but reneged and bought $160 of FRC), but now it's in the toilet. Kinda like your WASP project... 4 months overdue and by the time you produce a working model the cost to build the board for outdated chips will exceede the possibility of ROI. Puts you smack dab into BFL territory! Since this will be your third failure, you're definitely in the mix!

man so much for consumer protection rules in the USA I'd be better off taking plane ride to Europe ordering stuff from asic miners ....have someone then forward it to the states..cause their consumer protection is better overseas it seems...the only refunds in middle / late 2013 by BFL I heard about went to Europe due to their protections they told the rest of us to lump it USA it screw you sucker ....stay away from info commercials... so the only thing that is constant is Josh is richer now by probably 3x then when i ordered my 'phantom' April GH hash from BFL er that was April 2013 for anyone knew on here and wondering how that dates could be so far off in this thread...er they ain't Searing

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

They plan on using a single 120mm rad to dissipate 650W? hah
At wall consumption. But still that's a lot of heat to dissipate, even for a thick push/pull 120 mill rad. I still think its possible, noise will definitely be a factor. similar discussion about the hashfast units. But its been shown that the corsair H80i can handle at least 250W of heat in the babyjet boards and supposedly will be able to handle up to 750W in the yolievo boards AFAIK, the most heat you would see from a high-end overclocked CPU is 400-550W, so im pretty interested to se how such a small liquid cooling solution handles at >600W

Stand in solidarity with the hundreds of customers that got scammed like Martin Meissner who is still looking to recover $62,000 from BFL. Do not pre-order BFL products like this vaporware the Imperial Monarch or use their cloud mining operations. Butterfly Labs lost a civil case by default in Kansas’ Johnson County Court in late November 2013. The plaintiff, a Californian named William Lolli, won a judgement of over $13,000 but told Ars that he had not yet collected the award. These cases are still going on all the while BFL is spamming the trust system to gain more customers? TAKE A STAND AGAINST BFL'S SPAM

Oh god this is so good sooooooo much win in there. Things are just warming up in the legal arena when it comes to these companies. These ignorant stupid fucks will likely get to see how the real world works. Can't hide in Deadwood forever ASSHOLES, time for your comuppins!!
They want personal and business PC's for discovery. The paper work looks good I think they will probably get what they are asking for. Once they get inside it is good night BF Labs in my opinion.
One thing that stood out for me was this quote: willfully using an exaggeration, falsehood, innuendo, or ambiguity as to a material fact, specifically regarding when shipment of mining equipment would occur and/or that mining equipment most likely would be shipped within two months or sooner;
Hey Inaba that silver tongue of yours is gonna get your buddy Sonny in some trouble HAHAHAHA, maybe you can use that silver tongue to lick the underside of the lawyers bag while they fuck Sonny in the legal asshole AGAIN.
The ball is rolling now, time to sit back and enjoy things as Karma works its magic!

DO NOT ORDER from BFL. This company will take your money and keep delaying your bitcoin miner until it's worthless. How these cocksuckers aren't in jail is beyond me. The one to help prove the trust rating is too easily abused. After hearing about the 'experiment' you and others jumped right on the band wagon and abused the trust rating system. Your continual abuse of it shows that you don't care about the system working. I find it funny that you are actually supporting the person you hate so much by abusing the trust system and thereby proving it is a failure. I applaud you!

I can't believe BFL is still in business...
I every other country of the world they would have been shut down long time ago..
because they always get the buyers marks FTFY Usually when you are buyer you get what you buy right away see Bitmain or OneString Miners on what a real buyer looks like in those threads as they are happy to have received what they bought in a reasonable timeframe as promised unlike what BFL has ever done and continues to do. In the instance BFL is paid they are marks in a confidence trick, definitely not buyers.
