As long as you are have staked money on a game and still have the mindset to bet in future, you are already a gambler. If you gamble occasionally, you are the type of gambler that gambles once in a while. We also have core gamblers who gamble weekly or daily. The most important thing is that you should not put gambling as your priority.

If someone like risking money on uncertainty outcomes, the person is a gambler. The person can do it for fun or for money. But in reality it is good not to use gambling to look for money, it is better it is used for having fun.

Gambling is both active mode and knowledge based, any active member of.this board can be considered a gambler, since their are constantly engaged in both practices and discussion of what experience they hard on the casinos, so bitcointalk members can be considered to be gambler's most especially those that actively participate on gambling themselves.

For you to be addressed as such it means that it's something that you must do constantly and how you do it also matters...Anyone can gamble one or two times but this doesn't mean that they are automatically gamblers..to be classified as a gambler you must be the type of person that takes risks, this is what gambling is all about... Actually for me as long as they do gambling activities regardless of whether it is once, twice, often or maybe even once a week it is still called a gambler there is no other word besides that.
As long as we do gambling then we are gamblers and in this case we cannot say that we are not gamblers but still do gambling until now.

Many people sometimes do not want to be called a gambler just because they play gambling for example for once a week or once a month on the pretext of entertainment, but in the end it is the same regardless of how intense we are in playing whether we gamble often or rarely in gambling as long as we are still gambling then we are a gambler and we cannot deny it.

Just making a bet with someone or at a casino once in your life doesn't make you a "gambler". It means you have gambled of course, but you cannot be classified as a gambler. It must not be that you stake on casino or local sportsbook means you are a gambler. If you have bet with another fellow physically while a third party act as a witness then you have gambled. If you gambled with friends you are a gambler. And lastly if you bet on your skill in games whether virtual or 8 ball pool and all the handy sports then can also be called a gambler. Gambling is a person that has risk something to make another money either double it or triple it. That's what a gambler is believed to be and in believe that once in our lifetime, we have gamble something before, it might not be money per say but we have gamble something before. However, the real context of "gambler" is a person that has used casino once in their life time, if you have gamble one time or two times in your lifetime, then you can be consider gambling in the process.

If you're a gambler, you are simply consistently taking risks with your money regardless of the outcome of the last bet you made.

Individuals who are not gamblers chicken out of gambling after a loss, but real gamblers are always there to gamble again and again, not really out of budget but because they understand what they're doing and they do not let the results of the last bet they made get to them.

I think these balls down to the way the word is used. I can say that I gambled today for the first time. Since it is my first time, I can't be called a gambler. However when it is done repeatedly over a period of time, you can classify yourself as a gambler. What comes to mind when I say "stoner", " Smoker", "writer", " Driver" ? Poker pros, Sports bettors, all these streamers you see on multiple platforms. These are people I consider to be "gamblers". The streamers who play with real balances, not the fake million dollar balance people, usually have a deal where they have to wager x amount to be able to cashout x amount. I will tell you the opinion based on myself and my experience that I have so far. Normally every week I like to gamble but in a different way now, I know that I will lose in the end and as such I only deposit 40-50 dollars a week which is a very low percentage of my monthly salary and I just have fund by gambling this amount. I don't know if this define me as a true gambler, personally I believe not as true gamblers have no such low limits and they keep gambling chasing what they have lost in most cases and they are happy when they increase the levels, they keep thinking about gambling every single moment of their day, that differentiates me, I don't think like that, I gamble to have fun, usually on Thursday to Saturday max enjoying as I said buying the bonus of 1.1 dollars in most Pragmatic Play games. The fact that anyone has actively participated in any form of gamble game, whether his intent was for fun, pleasure or for making extra cash, he is considered  a gambler. I know most persons would mistake  the word gambler  for addicted gambler, well they're both two different things, an addiction gambler is someone who gambler often, not minding some certain  disciplinary rules that he ought to. Anyone  who gamblers without  making gamble a priority or making some irresponsible decisions can be considered a gamblers irrespective of the fact that he's doing it for the first time.

For me an habitual playing in online or offline casino can be considered a gambler whether he plays for fun or profit because once you play in a casino you are gambling and accepting the uncertainty of betting, but if you just go on casinos once or twice a month I cannot consider you a gambler, you are just there out of curiosity, or just being there for the sake of being there.
There is no length of time to be classified as a gambler; you can be a gambler if you are only playing for one week, if you play twice daily, or if you spend hours.

A person isnt necessarily a gambler just cause they put some money on a game of chance.  If that made you a gambler, then anyone whose ever bought a scratch ticket or played cards with their buddies would qualify.

The way I see it, a gambler is usually someone who keeps betting money on luck-based games again and again, sometimes doing it more and more.
So I dont think one time makes you a gambler - its more whether it turns into a habit.
