This year, the competition is very fierce, as I don't see anyone standing out as much as in other years. There are many players who have performed at the same level
I believe the most likely candidate will be Dembélé from Paris Saint-Germain

It was not also not clear who was going to win infact many fans were emotional and thought Real Madrid’s Vini Jr would take it but at the end of the day Rodry too it home I think it may just be the same situation this time around because many fans are believing that Ousman Dembele should take it home but it may just be Lamine Yamal that will take it.

However, the disgraced they suffered from Chelsea in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup may be a factor to consider and make people doubt if PSG were that big of a champion. This season, the Champions League seems to be the benchmark, and it cannot be denied that Dembele's glass foot has truly transformed into a monster with exceptional goal-scoring instincts. When it comes to eligibility, he is undoubtedly deserving at this point.

From the view of others you can clearly see the title works with championship winners definitely anyone can win with or without. If PSG had won the Club World Cup final, we would have no problem and we could say with certainty that one of the PSG players would win the Ballon d'Or this season, but since they lost to Chelsea in the Club World Cup final, the ratings of PSG players have decreased somewhat in this regard. Still, they played great football last season and won several titles for their team, so of the 9 names in the 30, any one of these 9 is definitely a worthy candidate to win the Ballon d'Or. However, the discussions we have sometimes do not match the reality, for example, last season we expected Vinicius Junior to win the Ballon d'Or but at the last minute someone else was awarded the Ballon d'Or, if that happens this year too, then all our previous predictions will be proven wrong.

Even if the list is reduced to top 20 in the next round, Vini Jr name will still be on the list. You must be kidding? Yamal's entire PR campaign is built on "he's only 17!" because if you ignore that fact, he has nothing special and shouldn't even be in the top 10. I hope you've prepared your ears to hear "he's only 18!" for the next year.
As for Mbappe, he had a normal season but he is not even close to being in contention for the award, even Haaland should be rated higher. But now it looks like those who were robbed once (Vinnie, Haaland) will have no chance to return to the race, just like Lewandowski. Such PR awards work on the principle of snowballing, if, for example, they somehow figure out how to give Yamal an award, then he will receive the next 2-3 automatically.

For getting the Ballon d'Or, don't only count the goals and the assists that a player has during the season, but also what he achieved with the club that he is playing for. Unfortunately for Vinicious, Mbappe, Bellingham, etc, contenders from Real Madrid, they underperform in all the competitions this season. So, I find it very hard for any of them to get the award. The same goes for Barcelona players. As I see it, only the PSG players can stand a chance this year.

It is not shocking Vinicius Junior into top 30 list for me. Check his stats. While he still had some poor performance last season it doesn't mean he didn't step up in some games and don't forget his team didn't really do well overall to lift a trophy which i guess why you think he don't deserve top 30 spot.

Aside this, for me the Ballon d'Or favourite seems more uncertain this season, there's no overall best here. Some were did a lot better in some competition than others while performing average or little bit higher in some others. Anyway,if Dembele wins it is not bad but one of those Portuguese in PSG could lift it either Nunez, Vitinha or Neves.

You know the Ballon d'Or winners are not only considered based on individual statistics during the course of the season, they also consider their club achievements that season. Even though Vini Jr statistics are good on individual basis, but his club went trophyless last season, so this will affect his chances of winning the award. At least not in a season where some individuals won different trophies with their various clubs and still had good statistics individually. So I don't see Vini Jr winner the Ballon d'Or this year.

Unarguably, Ousmane dembele has proven himself as the right candidate for the ballon d'Or; he was really upstanding last season by leading PSG to win their very first champions league. For Lamal yamal, he's been an absolute impact in Barcelona, for him to get to this mile at a very young age. I believe he will have to win it only if he wins a European trophy.

Raphinha, who has emerged as the third person in the ballon d'Or list has done incredibly well since being given the captain band by their new coach, Hansi flick. He played almost all the matches last season with the team and helped Barcelona secure all their three major trophies.
