If Como continues at this pace, it could certainly steal fourth place from Roma, and it would deserve it based on what we've seen from the Como players so far.
But I wouldn't be happy to see them in the Champions League. They have no experience, and we'll all end up seeing our UEFA ranking burn even more. From this point of view alone, I'd rather see them in the Europa League than in the Champions League.

Ever since Puni Essien saved Como from bankruptcy in 2017 and opened doors to the Indonesian investors that started the rebuilding project, there's been lots of changes in the club and one of the best thing they did was trust Cesc Fabregas to be their head coach, he's transformed the club to serious contenders and I think they deserve the Champions League next season, if they finish in a position to go there.

If you don't play in the Champions League, you don't gain experience, and that's true, but by experience I meant experience at European level, so paying your dues for a couple of years in the Conference League or Europa League.

I don't get anything in my pocket if they go up or down, I just want to have fun at Roma's expense by making fun of whoever stole our coach and then not giving them the players they need.

The Milano derby was a big disappointment for me...    Because both teams were quite clumsy on finding the target in the whole match.

That's why one shouldn't be surprised with its ending only 1-0. There were 20 shots in total but only 4 of them were on target.

Inter couldn't beat Milan once again. It's been quite a while since they won against them the last time. But they are still closing in on lifting the trophy in the league though.

Unfortunately it was disappointment to many people. I can see why teams played that way because both wanted to be certain and careful and not have that much risks, and Inter did not care because even a loss doesn't mean anything to them, so they did not try too hard to win, and Milan found a goal early on so they did not try for more and just defended.

So it makes sense why teams played the way they did, but that does not change the fact that it was a very boring game for all of us.

Damned, you lined it so well. For the lots of us that had high expectations on Atalanta, we got to note that this is Bayern Munich and Vincent Kompany was really prepared for this. I thought he would have a had time not starting Harry Kane but, Jackson seems on to a good start now, scoring in his last 2 games and Kompany is liking it, didn’t have any need to risk getting Kane involved while his still finding fitness from his injury situations. This defeat for Atalanta is a huge dent and it makes me wonder what would happen in the second leg.

As far as I can remember, Lazio is a really tough team to face.
Obviously it is not in a good position because its president does not invest, does not buy players and does not do anything relevant for the team which, if we want to say, is floating, without ever really going to the bottom or the top part of the table.

UEFA competitions for Italian teams is great when it is not UCL, but when it comes to UCL, they are not good enough to be high levels. Inter has done very well in the previous 3 years or so, this year not so much, but aside from that nobody does that great, and only in Europa or conference they could do very well.

I think if only three players from Serie A went to UCL, and rest went to Europa, it would be a lot better because those teams could not only do well, but could even win the whole thing there instead. Whereas, when those teams are sent to UCL instead, as we can see they are not doing that great. Inter lost to Bodo, and yet they are the leaders of the league, imagine how terrible the league is doing these days.

I don't know what is happening to teams from the Seria A when it comes to the champions League this season because, it seems that they were not prepared in playing in the champions League this season. Looking at the results that they are putting out this season one begins to wonder what the problem is with Italian teams in the champions League. The the simple truth is that the quality of Italian teams is dropping when compared to others teams that is why we are seeing the type of results that we are seeing. It's really embarrassing to see a side from the Seria A been embarrassed this way while playing at home the only surviving team from the Seria A losing out this way just on the round of sixteen in the champions League doesn't speak well of the quality of the Italian league.

This should never be used to feel inferior provided that mathematical odds as well as other competitive avenues are available. Winning by a knockout contest is usually a much more dramatic and emotional triumph to the fans. We know that it is hard to be consistent in the league, however, courage in the cup can be an outstanding season savior. The team is striving to make its mark in Europe through its unending sacrifice on the field.

Having more teams on UEFA competitions isn't as great as one might think normally. Because if you are like premier league and have six teams in UCL even on last 16 rounds then yeah you should try to send as many as possible because you would have a great chance.

But if you are Italy and you are represented by only one team that just lost with 6 goals to Bayern, then it is not ideal because your teams are just getting terrible results and that is not a good thing for you. Only the best teams should be sent, will be a lot better result.

Perhaps some consistent teams will gain experience and all they need to do is continue playing at a much better level. If people say only teams that finish in the top three deserve to play in the Champions League, that might not always be true because we can see Italian teams who may perform poorly, especially in the Champions League. They're just lucky enough to play in the Champions League because they finished higher in Serie A due to their much better level of play in domestic competitions.

Now let's look at Como and this team has just been promoted but their ability to play in Serie-A is quite promising so talking about experience may not be ideal when compared to other strong teams who are regulars in the Champions League because especially for Como they have to play their best so they can survive and qualify for the Champions League or European competition next season.

If people say only teams that finish in the top three deserve to play in the Champions League, that might not always be true because we can see Italian teams who may perform poorly, especially in the Champions League. They're just lucky enough to play in the Champions League because they finished higher in Serie A due to their much better level of play in domestic competitions.

Now let's look at Como and this team has just been promoted but their ability to play in Serie-A is quite promising so talking about experience may not be ideal when compared to other strong teams who are regulars in the Champions League because especially for Como they have to play their best so they can survive and qualify for the Champions League or European competition next season.

Just look at Bologna's results last year in the Champions League and compare them with this season's results in the Europa League.

No, it won't be that easy. On paper, I admit Inter have a much better chance of winning, but Atalanta should be more motivated and confident in improving their serie A performance, as they've already lost hope in the UCL after Munich's heavy defeat. I assume the match between Inter and Atalanta still has a chance of ending in a draw.

Both teams have been pretty unpredictable lately, so it’s hard to know what to expect. Milan lost at home to Parma not long ago and also had to settle for a draw against Como. Lazio, on the other hand, also suffered home defeats against Atalanta and Como.

So right now you could say both teams are at a pretty similar level in terms of form. Still, I’m hoping Milan can pull off a win even though they’re playing away, maybe a narrow 1–0 victory for Milan.

These are 2 big fixtures and I think by the end of this game we might be saying the season is over because if inter should win and Milan should lose on the other side then the season would be over and there won’t be any challenge for the scudetto. After AC Milan won that derby last weekend there is this glimpse of hope and suddenly the Milan fans think there is hope in getting the scudetto, now inter just have to dim that hope by winning their games.

For me personally I feel inter Milan are champions already and this match against Atalanta is another one they would need to make a big statement about. They should win Atalanta with ease just like you said and for sure Lazio will always cause problems for Milan and I’m sure they will in this game too.
