Here is the statistics of the game, no body should think that Napoli were only lucky in this game because they dominated the game as they had sixty percent of the ball possession as while the home team got forty percent. Napoli even had better chances in front of goal as the were able to shots as opposed to Genoa having twelve shots on goal. This is no luck it was hard work the problem was that Napoli was finding it scoring goals from the first half.

No one considers Napoli win as pure luck. But honestly the final score Napoli got was really lucky. This is not just about statistics. If you watched the match yesterday it should not have been a foul. But after the referee checked VAR and awarded a penalty to Napoli it was clear that luck played a big role.

On the other side I want to criticize Napoli defenders. They made the same mistake twice. Losing focus and giving Genoa the chance to score. Conte should be able to enforce more discipline on the defensive line.

Are they hiding their strengths, I saw Atalanta was mediocre in the previous matches, but hey against Juventus who have improved finally crushed unopposed by Atalanta in the quarterfinal match, two teams have taken to the position, first Inter Milan and second Atalanta, We need to wait for the Napoli vs Como and Bologna vs Lazio matches, the semi-finals will be interesting to see if Napoli or Como do not meet Inter Milan in the semi-finals according to me of these two teams can meet Inter Milan in the Final, I am quite sure for Inter Milan to get there before the match starts.

I also didn't watch the match until it was finished, and I thought before that Juventus could win here, because Atalanta only had a 1 goal lead in the first half and that was from a penalty kick, I thought this would be easily reversed by Juventus but after I saw the results of the match Juventus didn't even score a goal at all, in this match it was clear that Atalanta really had a good strategy to open up the Juventus troops, from the way they blocked Talanta's attack and carried out attacks very neatly, it shows that Atalanta was more disciplined in this match, Juventus will be fasting for trophies again this season.

When we all heard lukaku was going to be out for a long time we thought scoring goals was going to be difficult for them but Hojlund have stepped up and if that defense have been that good as last season them I think they might be a serious contender this season.

At the end they manage to get all 3 points, well in a very ugly fashion but it doesn’t really matter, it now on to the next one. Imagine if they had dropped points yesterday they would have been really out of the title race and they would also have to fight real hard to get a champions league spot.

Napoli almost messed it all up way too early in the game. Starting the game with a misplaced back pass that resulted in the goalkeeper committing a foul right within his box, that was handing over the lead to Genoa before the game even started. As you would have it with big teams and elite players, Hojlund and McTominay had other ideas, taking shots at the goalkeeper, positioning for rebounds and finding the nets, it was just coming. Good thing they had a last minute penalty of their own and they Hojlund wouldn’t miss it for the world. Down to 10 men in a game that has being ridden with defensive errors, they managed it alright.

Yeah, Napoli did started terrible, but they were ahead than, like by half time they were ahead, it was the second goal from Genoa that they did not counted for and that was the reason why it took so long for Hojlund to find the goal finally with a penalty. In the end they did their best and got the three points and that's all they can ask from themselves.

Even if Juventus wins, they are not going to catch up this week, which gives Napoli a breathing room for a while longer. That third place is important, but more importantly they are not far away from Milan neither, so if Napoli keeps playing good, they could actually reach to second place as well, wouldn't be easy but wouldn't be impossible neither for that to happen.

In my opinion, the point is not in the defense or in the attack, but how the aforementioned coach with lots of fake hair, Antonio Conte, manages his energy.

Juventus lose points again after a couple of nice wins... It happens in a match you don't expect every time! A few weeks ago it was against Cagliari and this time in a home match against Lazio. 

You know Lazio are far away from their good old days. But they were nearly winning in Turin last night. Kalulu's last minute header was a life saver for Juventus. Now Roma have a chance to equalize the points with them if they beat Cagliari tonight.

They struggle and frustration stems from the manager and how he has not made them improve most times whenever he gets knocked out of the Champions League. We have seen that with the clubs he has handled over past years. It was cool to see three points but doing little is not enough for a defending Champion. Genoa after all didn't get the win that they wanted. They have to finish stronger than they started when thr Seria A started. McTominays has grown immensely under Conte, he has developed immensely into one of the finest league midfielders in Seria A.

I understand that Lazio played well and were also very lucky! But comparing them to Real Madrid seems a bit excessive to me! Also because the colour of their shirts isn't exactly the same 

Joking aside, Juventus could have done much more but had to settle for a draw! That goal at the end saved the game and prevented a defeat.

Yes, it's true that Conte's tutelage has seen McTominay's performance improve rapidly. McTominay has become a key pillar in Napoli's midfield, and his position is difficult to replace because he's able to perfectly operate Conte's tactics. McTominay is now a valuable asset for Napoli, and he's very happy there, as he's rediscovered his best form since leaving Manchester United.

The "luck" part is a bit weird in these type of games. Could we say that Napoli got lucky that they won at the last minute? Sure we can say that, but can we say that they didn't deserve the win?

Of course not, they were the better team all game long and it was luck on Genoas side all the way until the last minute because normally Napoli played good enough to beat Genoa by a bigger difference, but Genoa got lucky for 90 minutes and kept it tied and nearly got a score they didn't deserve.

Pisa and Verona shared a single point in a their last meeting.
Hellas Verona was the most disappointing team among the two, imagine feeling comfortable settling with a draw instead on an easy win. From the look of things, the club is already sinking despite everything the club had sold and even the only reliable players who could have straightened the team a bit and also make a difference in the match is no more.

The hard luck course continues to wipe on both teams being unable to score a single goal to separate their ties. I guess Juventus players cause what made them to struggle to draw the game, because they have opportunity to start scoring goals from the first half to lead Lazio but Lazio defenders stop them many times, but I was surprised to see Lazio battling with Juventus home to shared points. This is not the type of result I expected from Juventus, because they used their Last home game to beat their opponent but Lazio defenders blocked their potential strikers in this game not to have access to their goalpost to secure more than two goals.

Despite Lazio draw the game 2:2, Juventus display to lead Lazio in ball on target, ball on short and ball on possession for people to know that Lazio performance in that game was very low just that they used their opportunity well to secured two goals.

When I am trying to predict a game in the Italian Serie A  Inter Milan and Roma are picks. Napoli, Ac Milan and Juventus this season will not be a call I confidently add to my game.
