A few upcoming matches for Inter in the Serie A:

- Atalanta (H)
- Fiorentina (A)
- Roma (H)
- Como (A)

These matches are consecutive by the way starting with this week. This can be called like their toughest time period in the final part of the season...

However I believe they can collect at least 10 points from these matches. The only obstacle they might not be able to get over is Como to me. They already drew with them in the Coppa Italia away recently.

I think after today draw to Atalanta, we would say inter are now putting themselves in a very difficult position toward the end of the season. It was all gold and roses for them before that derby loss against AC Milan, and after that everyone expected them to bounce back today since they will be playing at home but with that results now they are giving hope to the likes of Milan and Napoli to chase the scudetto till the very last day.


This are very serious fixtures for inter and since they failed to win today everyone that will be playing them will now be thinking that they can get a point of them, Como and Roma can cause real problems for them  and even fiorentina too because at this points of the season you should avoid playing those struggling to avoid relegation. Let see if inter can put things in order or they will let the title slip off them.

Como and Roma game will be the most important one, Como finally reached 4th place and that's a huge problem and for that reason we need to care about this game a lot. Right now both teams are the same points and depending on who wins, they will get to fourth place with ease because they will be three points ahead.

On top of that, if Juventus manages to beat Udinese this week, that means Juventus will be ahead by two points of the loser as well. Como has been on a great streak and winning but also Roma isn't a small or bad team neither, they will probably end up getting a win here and stop Como at their tracks.

At least Como themselves have shown consistent competitiveness so far, as they remain consistently in the top five despite facing some tough competition. The race for the top four is still quite competitive, as several teams are quite close to the top, but I see Como as a team that might have a chance to reach the Champions League places due to their impressive performance this season.

Facing Roma won't be easy, even though their performance isn't much better than Como's. However, Roma could be quite difficult for Como in this match, as they also have the potential to achieve a better result. If Como loses, their position in the standings will remain fifth, so Como will have to give their all to win this match.

Yeah, Inter have been failing to win in the league for 2 weeks! This is because of complacency after getting far ahead of Milan or what? I guess the first one is a valid reason for it.

But they shouldn't be complacent in this situation. They aren't competing in the CL anymore in the end. The Serie A should be their main objective together with a side one which is the Coppa Italia...

Chivu is the right name for winning this league. We have seen it clearly. I don't think they should get Diego Simeone as in the rumours.

Based on this match schedule, I predict that Inter can beat Atalanta, Fiorentina, and Roma. Except for Como, whose performance is excellent, especially against the big teams. As you said, based on this match schedule, it seems Inter can collect at least 10 points, which would actually be enough for them. This would bring Inter's chances of winning the title closer.

Inter Milan has already played Atlanta yesterday and the game ended in a 1:1 draw. Between the next three games that are coming up I see Inter Milan picking up maximum points against only Fiorentina. I don't see inter Milan picking up three points against Roma and Como respectively, I see them dropping points because, these teams are tough and is also fighting for a top spot and  getting to this part of the season were everyone needs results badly it will be difficult for inter Milan to get ten points from these games am seeing here.

I mean it is not really that much of a problem considering the huge gap they have. Even if Milan wins this game, that's still five points gap and when you are that much ahead you may start to not care about it all together. I get that it is not that easy to handle this just yet but as long as you can just do whatever you can do and grab a few points here and there, Inter should be fine thanks to the gap they have.

That's the problem with a team being that much ahead of everyone else, in most cases they start to not care about the games because it doesn't have any worth to them, they know they will win the title so they stop caring about the games. But when we are dealing with something getting closer, they wake up and win again. Like next week they will probably win.

Como came as a surprise in the Italian league this season. Cecs Fabregas has been fantastic with this team they have been unbeaten in their last five games across all competition, this team what to play in the UEFA Champions league next season. As Roma didn't play well Como over come them in all aspects of the game they came from behind to win 2-1 also dominated in ball possession with 7 shot on target and 7 corners while As Roma had only 1 shot on target and 1 corner kick, i think Como would have scored more goals.

At this point I think I’m absolutely short of words, just when you think AC Milan stand a chance to challenge for the scudetto after that derby win last weekend and then they blows it all away today when they played against a struggling lazio team. At this point I think it clear now that the scudetto this season will be heading to inter Milan. Honestly for me they have been a very good team this season especially in the league, they had a couple of good runs of games in the league and that why they have that much gap between them and AC milan.

Well it been a very awful day for me as a gambler, I have lost a lot today and I really just hope I recover in the champions league by mid week. I have said it times without numbers that Como will put all these unserious clubs behind them and finish on top four. That's what's happening currently. I don't think that Roma and Juventus isn't in a good form to win the rest of their matches to overtake Como.

I couldn't believe my eyes that Roma allowed Como to comeback from one goal down and win the match. Roma goalie saved a lot of balls if not it should have been more than two goals.

You hire a good coach but don't follow his instructions. Whose fault is that? Obviously, it's yours, not the coach's.
I feel sorry for Gasperini, he could have stayed at Atalanta and worked peacefully, he deserves to go through some tough times.

I'm not sorry for him a bit, he wasn't fired but choose to leave a team he's built and won the Europa League with, if he were in Atalanta there's chances that he would've been more successful than he's, coaching Roma. It's either he force the board to listen to his advice if they try to qualify for Europa next season or leave.

 He's a good coach and I believe that there would be clubs available to sign him. As for Como, they've worked hard to get this far and deserves the fourth place, I felt Roma would be difficult but surprisingly Como did what I didn't expect.

Milan are coming off an excellent victory against Inter and are now in good form. They will want to close the gap on Inter by winning the match against Lazio.

So it has been proven that Inter Milan are not performing that good anymore. They need to put more effort that will make them maintain their top spot in the league, which even with the 8 point interval AC Milan can still meet up, as their performance is more reliable than that of Inter Milan.

It means that we can compete with the top of the class, namely Inter.
This gives me hope that we are not in such a bad situation... and I have to say that they didn't even play badly, I have to admit, they played well...

I think this result is enough to explain 4th place of UCL spot next season is belong to Como. The way they outplayed Roma showed their quality. I don't think they will embarassing serie a if they qualify for the UCL next season.

To be honest, i don't call Roma bad for UCL, but they ain't ready for that. I watched their game against Como, and they were making too many error especially when Hermoso and Cristante let their defense available for free to be explored by Como's players.
If they will qualify for UCL, they's just becoming a laughable club for sure. This is why i'd prefer to see Como to play in UCL. They played an attractive football, which i believe they can match even big clubs in UCL.

Como just deserve the CL more than Roma. This is clear I think. You can just understand this from the difference between their recent forms and of course from the goal stats.

They've conceded nearly the same while Como have been scoring many more... I admire the work Fabregas has done with this club until this point.

Would you be confident about them to qualify for the CL at the start? I guess not. A great progress though!
