Hardly any surprises in the opening round.
A strong start for AS Roma, but do you guys think they have any real chances of winning the league?

In the last four years, Napoli and Inter have been switching places in the throne, but I have a gut feeling we're going to see a break in this pattern. Roma only managed to win 3 times in their history, but they finished 3rd last year, which was their biggest league success since the 2017-18 season, so who knows, maybe their time has come and maybe after 26 years of waiting they will again reach the top.

I would definitely put Inter Milan in the top spot to win Serie A considering the current situation and their performance in the 2025-2026 season. Because they are in a very strong position in all aspects and if we look at their defense, we can see how strong they are in the defense. If we look at their first match, we can understand why I put them in the top spot to win the trophy. If any of their players get injured, they might not face any major problems. But let's see how they can maintain their performance, we can't make such a big leap about them just by watching one match.

I agree with you so much on this man. I have also noticed that. Fiorentina has been keeping their managers for 1 year the most since they parted ways with Vincenzo Italiano.

They changed 4 managers in the last 2 years which sounds insane! This is never the road going to success for a team that's for certain.

But when will the board realize that? It doesn't look like they will soon...

AC Milan is among the the top teams in the Italian serie A, though has not won the cup for some couple of seasons now. Being a top team in the Italian serie A, they are not surposed to find it difficult to defeat Venezia which is joining the the serial A from relegation, they actually defeated Venezia 2-0 , but these goals really came towards the end of the second half, and that is to say, it was difficult for AC Milan to score Venezia in the first half of this very match. However, this could also be because of the quality of players used in the first half that made them not to be able to secure their winning from the first half of the game.

The season just started, so it’s still too early for me to excited about Milan or even for Amorim. as we know, last season Milan also in a good position in early week, but everything changed after winter break till the end of the season.
as milan fans of course, I hope Milan can compete for the title and win it, but I don’t want to expect too much just because of some good early results. and i agree with you, the more important is, Amorim can maintain the team’s consistency when facing a tougher team. If Milan can still perform like this after several big matches, at that time, maybe I will start to believe that something is truly different with Milan this season.
