Instead of closing the gaps team stayed too wide on the wings and gave Kayseri way too much space. i missed the first half but in the second, Kayseri had at least 3 or 4 clear one on ones with the keeper. If they had scored even one of those we’d be talking about a very different result right now

Beşiktaş won, albeit with difficulty. The winning goal was scored by El Bilal Toure in the 90+4th minute. Kayserispor could have left Istanbul with 3 points if they had capitalized on their chances. They didn't deserve the defeat, but the rule "if you don't score, they will" worked again. Beşiktaş fans no longer believe in their team, as large empty spaces were noticeable in the stadium. The cold weather may have played a role, but the empty stands are still a sign of the team's poor performance.

Beşiktaş football team was great in this match. The shots of that team was good in this match and that team shots were more in this match which were  30 in this match and 7 shots were on target and possession percentage of that team was 68 percent in this match and fouls of that team were less in this match which were 10 in this match. The shots of Kayserispor football team were less in this match which were 9 and  3 shots were on target and possession percentage of that team was less  in this match and possession percentage of that team was 32 percent in this match. Sometimes the opponent that is underrated could prove very difficult to contain during the game, I think this was what Besiktas experienced in this game but were indeed lucky to have found that late goal that gave them the victory in that game else they would have settled for a draw. Maybe they had thought that their opponents would be as tough as this untill the match started, a lesson well learned and am sure they wouldn't underestimate any team next time, whether big or small.

A similar scenario also happened in the Turkish Super League where Caykur Rizepor has a good game, dominated but ended up loosing to Goztepe making Rizespor's effort to be futile despite creating some great chances at goal.

Galatasaray has a far more important game now ahead of them than any of the games they played so far, which is the UCL game. A win or even probably a draw would mean that they would be in top 24 and will play at least 2 more games. What they lost so far is just few points in the league and can be recovered, they are still leaders and can do a fine job, they can start to win and do a lot better.

But, what we are seeing at the moment is not something they can recover, they have to get at least 1 point out of either Atletico Madrid game or Manchester City game or they risk being eliminated.

The only goal from El Bilal saved Besiktas from sharing the points, but I agree, Besiktas should have won more easily in this match, considering the opponent is a team from the relegation zone, if they maintain such performances, they could end up with a worse fate than last season. He had to because of the time, no patients coach would have feel different because it was something multiple of minutes could not do, so few minutes is poor toll be regarded, but as surprising it can be in some match occasion it was a time of no hope Sergen saw his team scored. coaches considered best in scoring more than best in performance and that's what he might think after he waited long for Cerny to score, so Jota Silva was his influence to the Kayserispor but going in the pitch there was no influence and it was still the old player in the match that score the goal.

Now this makes everything about this game more interesting than I thought. With the Nigerian striker now back to play in this fixture I am vetting for Galatasaray because if you look at the times Galatasaray has won their games in the UCL this season it was mostly with Victor Osimhen and it's most likely that the Turkish team will win since their key striker will be playing therefore making the squad complete.

I'm afraid the psychological advantage is on Fenerbahçe for the league title now. Because there is a serious drop in Galatasaray's performance level recently. I wasn't going to be surprised if Gaziantep won that match.

Okan Buruk is still making the same mistakes with some of his substitution choices during a match. He doesn't read the game well from time to time. But the squad depth isn't good enough when there are injury situations especially too.

It is 100% clear to everyone who watched Galatasaray games (and I can say it even though I only watch highlights) that without Osimhen Galatasaray's plan fails. They need a striker who is quick and can do press, if you can't press then the system fails. Don't get me wrong, it is not about scoring goals, what Osimhen does is not goal scoring, while he also does that, that is not the point. It's about being able to press, the whole gegenpress doesn't work with Icardi who can't even run a mile.

I don't agree. Galatasaray is playing worse lately. They just lost to gaziantepspor few days ago. I think they might lose the lead in the league. The points are very close with other teams. If they focus too much on the Champions League, they might lose the local league.

The official announcement has been made, Demir Ege Tıknaz is returning to Portugal. This time, he is going to Braga on a permanent transfer. Beşiktaş will only earn 7 million Euro from him. I think he was worth much more than that. I hope we won't regret this transfer in the coming years. There is also a 500k Euro bonus.

Now we're one player short in midfield, so a transfer is a must. We have Orkun, Ndidi, Salih and Kartal Kayra, but in terms of quality, only 2 players are sufficient, the other 2 are inadequate. Demir Ege was a good rotation player there. Plus, being home-grown was an advantage. I wish him success at his new club. As long as he plays for Braga, I'm sure we'll see him in the national team from now on.

Firstly I do not think  expecting Galatasaray to win the champions league this season was or should be part of the consideration so seeing them perform like this just feel like expectations to me, I see it more like they are using this period to get some more champions league experience and maybe in the future they will aspire for the title.

The loss to Gaziantepspor is the only lost game for Galatasaray in the league so far and shouldn't be what I can call a worse play especially with much games still to be played before May when a winner will emerge. The points might be very close but am not certain  with Fernebache perpetuating this current challenging form against Galatasaray till May for the title as they have proven to be  undependable previously.
