Fenerbahçe played terribly in the first half. Although Fenerbahçe scored the first goal, the game was anything but exciting. Cherif’s shot was saved by the goalkeeper, the ball fell to front of Nene, and he just scored the goal. Gaziantepspor find the tie goal with a penalty kick in the second half. When Kante's long-range shot hit a defender in the head, the ball went into the net, and Fenerbahçe took the lead once again. The 3rd and 4th goals came from Cherif again, and I'm not sure, but he might have scored his first hat trick. Fenerbahçe reduced the points gap with Galatasaray to four, but there is a one match gap. But I'm sure most of the Fenerbahce fans' already lost their hope to be champion.
I’d also like to say a few words about Beşiktaş’s last match. In the second half, Beşiktaş really took on a different identity. Of course, we can say that this changes started with building the team the way Sergen wanted. If they makes 3 or 4 transfer to this team, they will be the powerful candidate for the champion next season. If I start to talk about the match, when Gençlerbirliği’s lost one of their player things became easier for Beşiktaş. Sergen Yalçın isn’t the kind of coach who easily gets excited about a goal or a player, so I was surprised to see him happy about Orkun’s goal.
