The 2nd place is a high roller considering his VIP level so chasing him will be quite challenging considering that the reward for the 3rd place is much lower than 1st and 2nd place in case you failed to beat them.

Because to have big amount of wager in short of time requires big bankroll as well as big bet amount so they can step up in the leaderboard fast.
If we realize that we are small players and we know that there is a chance to be one of the winners, wagering small amount but do it since the 1st day is a safer way than waiting for the last hours to bet bigger than what we used to do.

That’s the best thing to do if you don’t want to get trap on a wager battle against other player that willing to risk more once under pressure by the competition regardless of the prize is already small compared to what they are losing.

My target bankroll this tournament is just 3K, if the top 10 is already above that wager 1hr before the tournament I will just skip since I don’t want to lose without getting in return.

Yeah, the first two ranks are indeed out of question. The 2nd rank users wagered amount hasn't changed significantly within the last few days. But it would be stupidity if anyone thinks to beat him. Yeah, I know that. But most of the users have wagered to win prizes from the leaderboard in the first round. Most of us weren't looking for profit by playing the games normally. I had lost almost $800 in the previous round while I was playing the game normally. Then I decided to make some wager to get a better prize from the leaderboard and recover a part of my losses with the reward. But I couldn’t end with the rank which I was looking for.

He is playing slots game for the normal gambling activity. Otherwise, all of us played the Plinko game in the "lightspeed' on auto bet mode for wagering purposes. The base bet depends on the bankroll.

yeah, but if the leaderboard prize + VIP rewards are more than what you would lose chasing the prize, then it's worth chasing for easy profit. the only thing that will foil that is not knowing what other players will do, as everyone chasing the prize is probably thinking the same. lol

There is no guarantee in this kind of contest, the 2nd current place (roycilik) can beat the 1st (me) easily because I know his gambling style and his gambling ability well. But as you may know, other players would do the same thing, and I have to calculate first if it would benefit me. I can abandon this contest if I feel like it's not my cup of tea anymore. Those user with same level of wager amount as yours will surely chase you, Not only Gennady12 is your problem if you want to secure that spot.

You should start increasing your lead earlier so that other user will be discouraged to wager more just to chase you since the rewards is slightly lower now.

$10k wager is quite big so there is a lot of risk but there is a lot of fun in poker tournaments so those who can afford to lose some money can enjoy this tournament. If you think you can surely chase and get the top 10 rank, then why not? But make sure you are really confident you can reach that rank. If you're not sure, and you feel even a little doubt,
don't even try to chase it because your effort will just be wasted, dude.

That's just a piece of advice. For my part, making it to the top 10 rank would be difficult, but from what I see in you, you seem confident you can do it, so go for it.
