3 Days ago I have started gambling offline with local people who are professional gambler. I played almost whole night while at beginning I won about 20000 BDT. But those who are addicted on gambling forced us to play more and finally I became loser (lost 15000 BDT from the winning). Have you faced anything like this?

I have heard similar stories and seen people falling for the same thing where they win money initially but are forced to play more to eventually lose all their money.
But I want to ask you that what did they do when you denied them for gambling more ?
If you are determined not to play more, would they let you go or do something dangerous like threatening you or something.
The stories I heard are mostly where they threaten you or beat you to gamble more.

What I have seen is that in our country, four people together create a gambling party and four people start gambling there (especially in rural areas). I have seen them gamble for a long time, if necessary, they spend the whole night in that party. In the meantime, if anyone wants to come out, they stop him from coming out, but there is no threat of beating. The threat of beating is given only to those people who are completely harmless. I guess it can also be a matter of pride and prestige, what do you think ?
If a person has won decent money and wants to quit but his opponent persists him to play more, may be his prestige is on stake.
If he denies the request then it might create a bad impression but then if he is losing his money eventually then why bother taking that bet at all.

If you are not playing in an authorized place like physical casino or any kind of gambling store, you are putting yourself in a very dangerous situation with risks to lose your money and even subject to thief or physical harm. This is commun to happen in all countries when you choose gambling in unauthorized places with people you don't know their mentality.

There are no authorized place, physical casinos in our country. Gambling has been banned here since 1867, even though Bangladesh was born only in 1971. People mostly gamble with local people, and they usually know each other. You are right about the dangerous situation. The rage-filled gamblers often fight each other, and sometimes they bet everything they have, including their smartphone, cash, watch, or whatever valuable they have with them. 

Also, if there are known gambling places where the gamblers usually gamble, the police often operate raids there and try to catch the gamblers. This is totally risky to gamble in Bangladesh. So, gamblers mostly gamble in a house with their friends to avoid these problems.

The only authorized place that can be used to gamble safely is physical casinos possessing legal license of activity. Any other place is risk even if you play with closed friends. Losing money has never be an acceptable fate even in luck based games.

In my country, the state is the only body owning a gambling company. In fact to companies, one for football betting and another for horse races because we have already the culture of rising horses (pure races). It's not even possible for any citizen to obtain a casino license (procedures not even stated or approved by laws) but foreigners can demand to obtain an activity license as law stated. However, only one license was given during nineteens for an Italian company which open two casinos in two touristic zones but opened only for foreigners not local citizens. Now they are closed since more than 20 years because of lack of activity.

I am not aware of any casino houses in my country, and if there were any, that would be illegal too. Because if legal authority knows about the gambling, then gamblers will have problems. So gambling in my country mostly happens within a circle; there is not a wide range of offline gambling here.

Physical gambling is interesting to watch, but for people playing it, if you don’t have enough experience, you can be cheated because most of the people coordinating the gambling knows themselves and will always have a player to support; in short, if you just come across them, just walk and pass by because if you attempt gambling with them, no matter how good you are, they will cheat you.

Furthermore, if you manage to have won the first round of the game, they will persuade you to play more games because they can’t just let you win them and go just like that, and if you refused to continue, they will use their power to rub you. Therefore, I don’t feel safe with such physical gambling, and government are also against it and might come for arrest any moment.

What you said makes sense. There's a lot of backdoor activity in land-based betting, and those unfamiliar with the scheme can easily fall for it. But what bothers me is that even online betting, which should theoretically be safer, has these pitfalls like early withdrawals that end up costing us big wins. Ultimately, is any type of betting truly fair to the player?

The long and short of all this is simply to avoid offline and or street gambling because though there are some groups that are usually good and friendly, the fact remains that 99.9% of the hosts of this type of gambling are usually scammers who use the idea of a street game to threaten extort money from their victims.

Gambling online has proven to be the best form or way to gamble in some countries due to the privacy  it provides, you don't have to talk of fight with anyone, it's simply you and the casino.
Though offline gambling do have it's own advantages, but personally, I would choose online gambling over and over again.

Sometime when I gamble and win but if I continue to gamble with the money that I win, I normally lose them back and I chase after my loses but I mostly lose more when I chase my losses so because of that even when I win I don't get excited much because I feel that those are the money I lose days back. Mostly I don't risk what I can afford to lose but i have implemented a new pattern whereby I will gamble with what I can afford to lose. With the new pattern I no longer chase losses because I risk what I can afford to lose. If I risk what I can afford and I win, after everything I lose them again I don't get worried anymore.

But casinos and gambling are banned in my country. So, there is no safe or authorized place for gamblers in my country. This is one of the reasons gamblers prefer online gambling, and offline gamblers mostly play with friends in clubs and at home. The gamblers have no choice but to play with other gamblers offline, which is too risky. The gamblers often end up in an argument and sometimes engage in a fight between their friends and even family members. Sometime when I gamble and win but if I continue to gamble with the money that I win, I normally lose them back and I chase after my loses but I mostly lose more when I chase my losses so because of that even when I win I don't get excited much because I feel that those are the money I lose days back. Yes, I am talking about the card game where four people form a team. As far as I have seen, I have seen such a game so far, but (in rural areas). And I do not know whether such a card game is played in the city. Although such teams are formed in rural areas, they form teams very secretly and gamble there. One of the reasons for forming teams secretly is that gambling is not legal in my country. Since gambling is not legal in my country, people are very afraid and form teams secretly to gamble. I guess you are from an islamic society because most of them ban casinos and all gambling related activities. While people still find ways to practice gambling far from the eyes of the authorities.
Today with online gambling and the emerging of crypto based casinos, it becomes ridiculous for authorities to ban any kind of online activities like countries who issue laws banning crypto use. I did more of these when I was still a young lad, not anymore. Back then, it was scary as, there were unofficial rules to the game and you really don’t get to leave just because a gaming session was over. You’ve got to give the losers a chance to get their money back with few rounds otherwise, it could result to violence. It wasn’t a cool adventure and when online gambling came along, being more regulated with defined rules, it wasn’t obvious that the street gambling was over.
Other, I still take bets with friends when we challenge ourselves at something or even, predict games offline and bet amongst ourselves.

You are absolutely right bud, there is a physical casino is that is just some kilometers aways from where I live, I've never been there or entered there to gamble once but I pass there quite often.
Three days ago, I passed and discovered that the casino was locked even at the time they should be opened, I also passed yesterday and discovered that the casino was still under lock and key and then decided to ask someone who lives in that area why the casino was locked for more than two days I've passed there, he told me that within the week, police raided the casino and arrested a lot of persons including the manager of the casino, as well as come staffs and customers.

And i tried to dig more to find out what actually happened and what I discovered was that there were some group of guys, source say they were four in number who were bad boys, supposedly criminals who usually hang out there on in the casino after or before going for an operation, because the casino usually close very late, on that faithful day, the police traced the boys to that casino, arrested them and plus other persons whom they said where suspects as well.

This is one reason why I will never patronize a physical casino, because even if you are not into any thing criminally implicating, you can't tell same about the person you are sitting beside or next to, when authorities come for the bad eggs, you may unfortunately be among those that will be arrested.

Well, kind of. I am from Bangladesh and over 90% people in my country are Muslim. So yes, gambling is banned here. FYI - Bangladesh was born in 1971, and we gained independence from Pakistan. Bangladesh was part of Pakistan before 1971. But the gambling law in Bangladesh is way older than that. Gambling was banned here since 1867 while the British were ruling this region. Bangladesh is still following that law, and yes, gambling is still banned in this country.

The gambling situation in my country is the same as in your country. People mostly gamble online even though the government banned online gambling lately. But yet, people using online casinos to gamble and hope they won't get caught.

I have not faced this situation before and that is because I have not actively gambled offline. However, I have acted as escrow for offline gamblers and part of the rule is that until the person losing says he is done, the winning cannot quit. So, it is like fight to finish and due to this it sometimes end in fights and waste of time.
