3 Days ago I have started gambling offline with local people who are professional gambler. I played almost whole night while at beginning I won about 20000 BDT. But those who are addicted on gambling forced us to play more and finally I became loser (lost 15000 BDT from the winning). Have you faced anything like this?

Offline gamblers are so greedy and not happy when you win mainly when you are just start gambling or you don't use your usual spot, those gamblers there are not happy when you win because it seems like you are taking what belongs to them and so if you are not strong enough or have a limit, they will force you to play and lose all your wins because they are unable to win, most of them has never won any of their game and so they are not comfortable with you , mainly when you meet an old gamblers, strong and experienced ones, they look more frightening and intimidating, in other for you to be save without being attacked, you just have to do their bidding, this is why it is not advisable to go to the casino or offline gambling spot alone for safety and security purposes, not abiding to their pressure for you to play more out of your wins, you will be endangering you life, therefore avoid offline gambling , the experience is so bad , I have been a victim before, even the managers are not always happy you winning they only want you to be losing, so that they will be making more money.

The beginning of your problem was when you decided to listen to what others had to say, gambling is a personal thing, meaning that it's always you and your ideas only.  20000 BDT is a lot of money and I think you should have just walked away with it instead of gambling to make more profit. You are correct and I agree with you that if I could stop playing, then I would not lose the money which I have won and I played for the force (by speech). But if I try not to play and if I force stop playing, then the thing might be turned into a different factor. The fact may turn into force by muscle, even if it may get into a quarrel.

From the op I understood that it was in your avoidance of any situation that could lead to physical force that you had to unwillingly agree to continue gambling after making a 20k BDT from the previous bets. I totally avoided offline gambling because of this reason and some even set it as part of the rules, you won't win and just quit immediately, you will continue to play intill when all of you that is participating in that gambling has agreed or decided to call it a day. And this usually brings problems, quarrels and fight among the bettors as a result that someone wants to leave after packing other people's money away. It's even more addictive than the online or shop betting because here you're having both fun and in the process trying to earn off it.

One reason why offline gambling is dangerous is the fact that people can actually stake their physical assets and properties on different games . After playing and running out of money most people dive into gambling with the valuable properties that they have, this makes it even more dangerous because they have no control over their actions...after losing these things they end up regretting their actions

What you said is right, dude. It's really dangerous to gamble offline, especially if you're alone. It's not unlikely that someone is watching you
and keeping track of your winnings while you're gambling.

Even if we're skilled, the final result will always determine whether we play online or not. The urge to increase our time and bets will always be there and become a mandatory menu, especially if you've won early, and it will always be a strong motivation to keep playing. Yes, that's a pretty decent loss, I think. But it wouldn't take long to get that money back if someone played again and won.

Profit can be made either from gambling online or offline, but I am not sure about the ratio, like if x50 win (for example) from offline gambling actually gives the very same amount of money in profit as in gambling online, I personally have very much focused on online gambling since it's more convenient and there is the possibility of gambling and doing something else at the same time, much better than offline gambling where one will have to give everything in which includes money, self, time and attention which involves your mind, eyes, ears, hands and literally every part of your body 😁

In any sphere of life we can meet greedy people and if we judge that only on offline gambling then it will not be a fair justice to identify greedy people.

It is a common here as well in brink and mortar casinos and gambling sites, to get "forced" to continue to gamble after winning big, specially if the money came from other gamblers in your same table. Unfortunately, game gambling establishments here in this country are not the safest a one never know who is one gambling against, it could be a normal and common person who is just seeking fun as one, or could be a criminal or mad man able to physically hurt you of you take his money after defeating him in a fair session of poker, dices or whatever game he was playing with one.

It's completely psychological when the enthousiasm moment with those you feel closed with. Addicts can't resist that moment to prove they were right. There was chance to win and prove that i was right spending all this time trying an endless chance. Offline gambling comes with certain risks, and what you had just faced is simply one of many and that's why I avoid gambling offline as much as I can. Especially when you go gambling around some vicinity where you're a stranger and knows just a scanty number of persons there, you can't just win them and you're allowed to walk away just like that. It kills their pride and if they are some violent people you can get yourself endangered.

Have experienced this during my secondary school days,we use to play offline games via whots and mind you some people are really skilled in this offline game and without you having experience you can't win,there was a day I even used my transport fare to place a bet and lost,I end up trekking home,you can see how sad and disappointed I was with myself.

I can only imagine what height of gambling addiction could literally make someone start using the properties he worked so hard to earn money in acquiring them, and without common sense uses it to part with gambling. How do you even recover that back on losing them all. For those kind of gamblers that does this it's the family members that suffers for their acts of irresponsibility, they're left with no choice than to be on the watch for him from sneaking away with a valuable property to use for his gambling.
