Gambling addiction is a completely horrible thing, I opened Facebook and saw a boy hitting his father for money. A boy takes money from his father and gambles with that money, I have seen such incidents several times on social media. When you see the scene in front of your eyes, you can understand how much gambling addiction can hurt a father.
A person becomes a symptom of addiction only when he loses all his money and collects money to get it back in gambling.

Weird as it sounds about how an addict can actually be stealing from their dependants to satisfy their gambling addiction it could be hurting for a father to see his child under such psychological disorder. Parents should be watchful of the type of places and company their children and wards goes and keeps because most of the times our children learn to gamble through their peers and you as a non-gambling parents would be wondering how come about it.

Incident like this where the children hitting his father to get money for gambling is not normal thing and there must be a lot of previous timelines and events that lead to this event. Such incidents do not happen overnight.

I wouldn't blame such kids alone, actually it the fault at the end of the parents too that they did not keep a proper eye on their children and do not care about the activities where their children remain busy and involved in which sort of activities. Later when the kids take such extreme steps, then they blame only their children.

Yes, I also consider the parents' fault here because a child does not become bad very easily and very quickly, of course a child becomes bad gradually. When a parent takes care of his child on his own responsibility and can follow which path he is going and what he is doing, then a child will not rush into bad things or follow a bad path. To be honest I would be a little bit scared playing with strangers for some serious money. Why? Someone might falsely accuse you, be crazy and so on and so forth. Who knows if one would not want to force you to give him your money back? You probably felt the need to be ok with the people you played with because it was dangerous to do otherwise. The thing is that everyone has their life and choices to make irrespective of the house discipline that have been given to these children, there are so many things that they can get their self involved in when they go out there exposed and just like you said one of them is the influence of peer pressure and not everyone does well under influence and if anything it's an opportunity for them to explore and before they know they are fully involved in things that would make them a menace to the society and all this habit can further relate back to reckless lifestyle and poor decisions making which if they take into gambling can cause a lot of dangers for them that can even be fatal.

Yes, I have also faced this issue. Actually, the thing is that when you win some amount, those around you consider themselves more expert, which is why they think that it is possible to win more from here. But there is no answer to the fact that they end up losing everything. You will see that they will keep giving you tips in such a way that you will be convinced that they are actually very expert people giving me advice. Bullied into doing something is an exaggeration of this situation, it is mostly due to peer pressure that we can handle if we want but often we don't want too because we are afraid that people might judge us based on that one incident. Also, it varies depending on our circle like gambling buddies or friends, meanwhile these things were completely eliminated while gambling online, we are on our own so it can be risky or just doing what we want.
