Small update.
Laszlo was back online on Oct 23, 2025.
I also noticed his Bitcoin address in the signature. Not sure if it has always been there (EDIT: according to wayback machine it has always been there).

That address became active again in the last few days and received several payments after almost 5 years of inactivity.
Weird.

I also remember always seeing his Bitcoin address in his forum signature! But I might be showing signs of senile dementia and could be mistaken 😂
Anyway, who knows why he reconnected without saying anything! Not even a simple hello!
The mystery deepens 🤔

Weird.
The mentioned legacy public address 157fRrqAKrDyGHr1Bx3yDxeMv8Rh45aUet in Laszlo's signature space just got quite some "donations" that so far all happened on 2025-12-17 and originated all from the following public address 37jdMXYbvg3dKzJ4pGSYiABiXoBy4putZq. This source address is a quite busy one with a history of more than 243k transactions.

I wouldn't say an address became "active again" just because it received coins from elsewhere, although I understand what maybe looks a bit odd because the last transaction before all recent "donations" from 2025-12-17 was indeed nearly five years ago on 2020-12-28.

Real activity of an address is for me when coins are actively moved from this address, i.e. they are used as transaction inputs and for 157fRrqAKrDyGHr1Bx3yDxeMv8Rh45aUet this was last on 2018-04-19.

...I am sure he is browsing the forum and reading the news, but it would be amazing to see him posting something..

You can read the news without logging in. And since Laszlo has already logged in to the forum, it means that he was pursuing other goals. I can assume that his goal was to write a PM to one of the acquaintances with whom he communicated on the forum many years ago and he has no other way to communicate with them.

He can read without login or with login, and does he mind to login his account?
I guess he does not mind about anything happens after his account login, only we as community members are curious about who is behind the account, is it laszlo, and what is purpose of the login.

With laszlo, it's not important and I think that login your account, checking to see whether someone PMed you is natural. Whenever you want it, you can do it, no problems with anyone else.

laszlo can do this, and actually did it while no issues to the community, it's just some people have curiosity about what's going on and what's purpose.
