This was expected as if I remember correctly this was not their first final appearance in the competitions outside the Premier League and let's face it the other team lacked international experienced compared to Crystal Palace. This does not mean that everything will always come as expected because in football anything can happen as they say the ball is round and can go anywhere. This is just a prove that the EPL is the most intense league in the world. Palace meet the exact expectations of their fans and nothing short of the exact expectation was met a full time win. World cup tournaments are quite different because most of them end up playing with teammates they only train with once in a while so their sportsmanship might not be as professional as compared to their individual leagues.

We hope to see if Arsenal can bring the trophy to Emirates then complete the trio. PSG is a more competitive team compared to that of Aston Villa and Crystal Palace but for Arsenal to have made it this far we expect them to bring back the trophy to England.

Crystal Palace were more likely to win the final and that's what happened, I was also confident that Crystal Palace would win the final. Neither team tried to attack much in the match, their shots were not strong, however, Crystal Palace won the match 1-0 against Rayo Vallecano, and secured the Europa Conference League title.

Now we are waiting for PSG and Arsenal to face each other, everyone is waiting for this, it is going to be a really great match, a match that will not be easy for both.

It was indeed a well deserved victory and Crystal Palace deserved to win the Conference League Trophy, I’m just wondering what is it about English teams and winning the Conference League, this win qualified them for the Europa League next season, and I must say it’s a good achievement for Palace who will be in search of a new manager, Oliver Glasner have done a terrific job with the team and I’m quite impressed with the kind of job that he has done for them, he is leaving on a high after winning important trophies for them, the FA Cup, the Community Shield, Conference League, Crystal Palace will have to start over again next season with a new manager and some new projects.

This season's campaign seems to be marking a return of English dominance of European football, two finals have already been won by two English sides respectively with one left to go, if Arsenal beats PSG in the upcoming UCL finals then it would be a record 3 finals won simultaneously by 3 English clubs, it would go down in history as one of the best season for English teams which is very commendable and perhaps this also puts English football in a very high level but the question still remains if Arsenal would tow the same path as their counterparts in Europe this season.

The last few years have been amazing for English Premier League clubs they are doing enough to capture top trophies in Europe. This is going to be a new era for Crystal Palace because they won three trophies in just 2 years before 2025. They never won any cup, but now they have three.
 
This final was well balanced because both teams had the first half with their defensive tactics, but in the second half, an early goal from Crystal Palace put them ahead, and they were able to stay there till the end. This was a big win, while Rayo Vallecano was also good but their attack was not good they were not able to convert their chances, but still, it's a good game to watch at Leipzig. This proves that the EPL is a highly competitive league compared to other leagues as playing in the EPL is no easy feat. It's now evident that all European competitions have EPL representatives. We'll have to wait and see if Arsenal can make history by winning the Champions League trophy for the first time, making it the first time all trophy winners in European competitions have been English teams. Crystal Palace win the trophy with a single goal from Mateta in the second half. Crystal Palace attack was very bad in the first half, but failed to convert their chances. I’m not surprised that the Palace win the trophy, they might look bad in the Premier League games, but they wouldn’t take it easy on their opponents winning the trophy. This is the only opportunity for Crystal Palace to lift a trophy this season, and great job for Glasner and the club.

Glasner knew from the beginning that they were the favourites, but they didn’t need to attack with full force. They played well defensively and waited for their chance, and it eventually came. They only managed to get one shot on target, but they had many chances before that if they had been a little more composed.

From the start, they knew what they needed to do to win, and they simply did it. I think that if they played 4 more matches, all 4 would go their way.

It is actually possible, but Arsenal still have a very difficult taxk ahead because the Champions League is on a completely different level and form my observation english clubs have been very active in Europe recently, so seeing Crystal Palace and Aston Villa win European trophies already shows how competitive the Premier League has become and as for Arsenal, from me as an arsenal fan they actually deserve credit for this season because they got improvement recently.

Everyone where expecting what will be the outcome between Arsenal and PSG, but what I know is that the match will be little tough because both teams are in a good form right now that’s why I’m expecting that their final to be a tough one and interesting to watch.

This is what premier league fans hope for, they would be happy to see their teams dominate Europe. Aston Villa and Crystal Palace has done their best and played their part and they ended up winning the Europa league and Conference league with the hope that Arsenal will deliver their own part.

Excited for my boy Dean Henderson, h3 has now won three trophies since he left Manchester United for Crystal Palace. The same for my Nigerian brother Uche who came from one of these Spanish clubs to Crystal Palace, he was also assigned a medal.

Crystal Palace will be most grateful to Oliver Glasner. Before him, they have never won nothing, I mean not a single trophy, but he came in and they're Fa Cup Champions,  Community Shied winners and also Conference League winners. He deserves the best send-off for what he has done for them considering how they the management let go of one of their best players this season ( Eze Eberechi and Marc Guéhi  ) without good enough replacements.

But I think that it is not easy for Arsenal, and it is possible that Arsenal will lose the match. I told my friends about this final match, my friends are very knowledgeable about sports, they have been involved in sports for a long time, so I asked them about the chances of Arsenal and PSG, one of my friends is very confident that Arsenal will win the match, but all my other friends including me said that PSG has more chances. A decisive goal from Jean-Philippe Mateta was enough to crown Crystal Palace the Champions of the conference league. England are really dominating the tournament because last season it was Chelsea that won it and this season Crystal Palace won, the Europa league was also won by an England team last season and this season too. Congratulations to Crystal Palace, they made the Premier League proud by winning Rayo Vallecano and returning the trophy back to England. I think that since Aston Villa and Crystal Palace have won European their finals, it will give Arsenal the morale to put up a strong fight against PSG and win the Champions League because i believe they wouldn't want to be left out.

Oh my god! I didn't even think of all of that information you drop up there, it's absolutely amazing seeing how these English league teams are rotating the European trophies among themselves, especially the just concluded two finals and it gets me wondering how just like in immediate previous season these teams that are winning these trophies are usually teams with a poor season in the domestic league. For Tottenham last season they were just at the verge of a relegation zone, and Chelsea wasn't even any better either. Before this time it used to be the Germany and Spanish league dominating Europe league competitions but now the English teams seems to have taken the lead  Arsenal next in line, possibly.

It is only Tottenham and Crystal Palace that had a poor performance but for Chelsea who won the conference league last season and Aston Villa that won the Europa league this season, both teams finished in the 4th position in the respective years. How i wish Aston Villa finished far from the top 5 Champions League positions they would have just made it easy for 6 teams to represent England again in the Champions League just as Tottenham did last season after they won the Europa league but since they finish in the 4th position, England will maintain with 5 teams that qualified for the UCL.
     Tottenham and Chelsea who won the conference league and the Europa league last season performed so poorly this season especially Tottenham because they managed to dodge relegation, hope Crystal Palace and Aston Villa won't have an awful performance next season. I'm confident in Aston Villa but not sure about Crystal Palace but come to think of it, Palace is doing great because last season they won a trophy namely the FA cup and now this season they won the conference league. It is good that England teams are now taking over the European titles, it will help to set them at the pace of European competitions.

Arsenal beating PSG is not going to be an easy task for Arsenal, but if the team is well determined and Arteta comes up with good tactics, it is very possible for Arsenal to win the Champions League and make the Premier League the dominant league in Europe this season.The reason why I am saying everything is left in Arteta’s hands now is because of the way he approaches some matches. Sometimes, he uses players that are not supposed to be used, and in some matches where Arsenal should be attacking and defending with balance, he prefers to use defensive tactics. In the end, when pressure is applied by teams like Munich, it usually leads to goals against Arsenal.Because of their fans and what I watched against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final, I was seriously disappointed. However, I hope Arsenal approaches this final with better tactics that will work out well for the team, instead of approaching the match with fear.

Super boring game though, but in this case it was kind of what I expected. Crystal Palace is not quite the explosive team and Rayo Vallecano would play it safe, but I like to see defensive teams getting crushed. They wait and wait, never seriously push, then concede a goal and are done.

I am glad I did not watch the match.  
I often prefer attacking games where the teams don't just play it safe throughout the 90 minutes. Goals and counter-goals bring in some thrill to the game.

I see something similar coming for the Champions League game. Arsenal will try to defend for as long as they can and once they concede a goal, it is game over. I don't think there chances would be very big once they fall behind.

You just spoke what is on my mind. People are so hyped up for the UCL final, but knowing the kind of Arsenal team whose matches I have been watching for some time, I won't be surprised if we have yet another dull final. God forbid if Arsenal scores first early in the first half.  

Yes it is horrible to watch a game and then see the first half end 0-0, especially when Spanish or Italian teams are involved (except for Barcelona). Even Real Madrid was most of the time not fun to watch as their attack was barely typical for Real Madrid.

In the past season Rayo Vallecano scored 41 goals in 38 La Liga games, so it was more or less clear to everyone what to expect. And guess what, what a coincidence that Crystal Palace scored the exact same number of goals in the Premier League...

Yeah this one was definitely something to behold, they did as well as hoped for, this team has done incredible since last year. They won 3 cups so far in the last 1 year if I am not mistaken and that alone is a huge achievement.

They won FA cup last season, then this season they won the community shield in a shocking turn of events, and now they also won the conference league, that is incredible for the size of the team, nobody expected them to win any of these and they won them all.
