Playing draw with a team a s rewanda is somewhat a big disgrace for our supper eagles, because in recent time the Nigeria football federation have witnessed a lot of excitement from the recent performance of the falcons, so everyone expected that supper eagles will change into something better in this season, but everything seems the same in terms of their performance or even worst right now, supper eagles have not meet up to expectations and there is need for them to get a re-form or even management sacks.

The match didn’t end as draw, the super eagles were able to score a goal in the match, and they were able to secure three points in the match, but even with that the super eagles didn’t play anything special in the match, and if they faced a stronger team, they won’t be able to win the match.  The super eagles next match will be against South African, I don’t know if there is any super eagles will be able to get a win in the match, but with their current performance, they will find it difficult to win South Africa.

With the squad the super eagles are having, they are not even suppose to find it difficult to win any Africa country, but as we can see, the super eagles are struggling, I don’t know if they will be able to qualify for the World Cup.

The only people that are always making us proud are the super falcons, we all can see how brilliantly those ladies are playing, the are winning trophies for us, and they making us proud always, unlike how the super eagles are playing, they just embarrassing us.

The error in typing that make the statement look as if I refer to the game as draw have been corrected, and sure that Arokodare gave the supper eagles the first and the last goal in the match at 51 minutes into the match, qualifying the supper eagles on a narrow excape thing, this make us disappointed instead celebrating the victory, the amount of goals score is quite low and not worth celebrating rather we consider it a stil defeat for the supper, although their are qualified now.

It seems that he did not watch the match between Nigeria and the Rwanda and also you did not bother to check it up on the Livescore to know the actual score before criticizing the super eagles.

Even if we are not comfortable with the poor performance of super eagles in this world cup qualifiers, we should be able to agree that they played good football today and they eventually won the match not draw as you falsely said above.

One thing you guys need ti understand now is that the super eagles are actually very well under pressure and it is games like this that can easily go wrong for them because the Rwanda team are actually more relaxed and are happy to take anything from the game. If you watch the game you will see the celebration and hand shake they were having right after Victor Osihmen picked up injury which is to signify what they were there to do, it was witn this momentum that made it hard for the eagles to actually score more goals.

This is narrow win should be celebrated to encourage the players even though it was poor performance most especially in the first but their correction and determination in the second half means they can grow together. Brotherly, their is nothing to celebrate in this game against Rwanda because in my own opinion, this is a game they should have won convincingly, but due to their lackluster performance in front of goal they struggled and managed to win one nil, but with what I have seen so far from our super eagles,  if much improvement is not done in this super eagles team, they might even lose to the south African team that is their greatest rival, but it's quite funny to note that if our super eagles team is criticized constructively most of our football fan will start being sentimental about it, just look at the type of goal we scored, we were just lucky because we wouldn't have scored at all if we weren't lucky in this game.

@promcodeudo i think to answer your question, yes, the Nigeria senior national team is indeed commonly referred to as the super Eagles, its thier officials nickname and its widely used in sport media and fan discussion 

It's reasonable to have high expectations for the team's performance, particularly when playing specific opponents.  Even though a 1-0 victory isn't the most compelling, it's still a victory, and that's what counts in the end.  

However, it appears that the Falcons are receiving some much-needed attention.  Regardless of the side, it's wonderful to have Nigerian football skill on display!  Let's continue to support our teams and look forward to more thrilling games!

Our super eagles team did not underrated Rwanda national team yesterday as you are claiming bro, they played with the intention of killing the game even before victor osimhen left the pitch injured, just that they are not good enough to win convincingly, and if you observe very well, anytime they are in front of goal, they look very disorganize and confuse on what to do next with the ball, that's why they were very easy to defend against, so they really need to improve with what I have seen from them so far, because if they continue like this, I am confident that they will even struggle to get a draw in that game against the south Africans, talkless of a winning at away.

I don't know what to say about the Nigerian team if the poor performance is from the players, coach or other related factors thats what i can't tell but all i know is they need to revamp there structure and work towards finding the mystery behind their weakness so they improve in all aspects. The Nigerian team is one of the best teams in Africa that can even compete in world football without any atom of doubt yet proving their consistency is the main subject matter now because they hardly turn tables around when it comes to crucial matches instead they end up betraying our trust. So on that note something should be done about that and it should be with immediate effect

From day one Eric Chelle was announced the new super eagle coach, I knew that Eric Chelle will not pull super eagle players from this poor performance, Some Africa teams super eagle use to defeat in the world cup and national championship league to be among the strongest team but they find it  difficult these days to face those teams because their coach don't have the ability to improve those players, Just imagine super eagle draw 0-0 with Rwanda in the first half before super eagle managed to scored one goal to defeated Rwanda yesterday, South Africa and Benin defeated many teams in this group to achieved points that made them to be above other teams in this group, winning the South Africa in their next match is in the hand of Eric Chelle  super eagle coach because there are some players who supposed play first half yesterday but they where in the bench, and if the coach can select the right players to play South Africa in their next match they will win to achieve victory.

The coach has to ensure quality players are picked for the match, give a nice fixtures, as in a good line up of players both in the pitch and on reserve. If this is done, every other thing lies in the players to play well and bring back Victory. With this kind of quality players Nigeria has, and the line up the coach has also selected to play, we should play better. Everyday I just keep wondering what's really the Problem with the super Eagles team. If we watch them play in Europe, there performance and dedication to Thier clubs shows otherwise when they play in the green white jersey. To an extent, I wouldn't want to blame the coach, am not even sure to blame the players too. I don't know what the problem really is, but I think the team really need to up their game or else, we will be kicked out as usual.

Yes it is South Africa next, if we cannot beat them, then it is all over and there is no chance of playing in the 2026 World Cup for us. South Africa has been excellent in this qualifiers so far, and the Super Eagles not so much, but we have no choice but to back them. If they eventually fail us, then we can criticize them all we want, but as long as there is still an opportunity, the only thing to give is support.

If Nigeria struggles to defeat Rwanda, I wonder how difficult their match will be if they face South Africa. Given how strong and excellent South Africa has been playing in this qualification, I don't think they will lose to Nigeria, and Nigeria doesn't need to draw this match because I don't think they have a chance to qualify again if they do. Honestly, Nigeria chances of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup seem slim, but I still hope they'll make it. However, with their current performance, it's hard to see them doing much better in world cup unless they get a good coach. While the players performance has been disappointing, but I think the main issue lies with the coach management of the squad. These players have shown impressive form in their club matches, but it's not carrying over to the national team.

It’s not a new thing, our Nigerian team the super Eagles always struggle to win against smaller countries in African competitions except sometimes in the AFCON proper they exhibit a little bit of brilliance. But against stronger or on par level of teams they play better, the Super Eagles have disappointed us a lot in this qualifiers, a lot of Nigerians no longer have hope that they will qualify but I can say I’m sure and hoping that we’ll defeat South Africa, anything less than a win means we’re not going to the World Cup.

You are right Nigeria winning Rwanda just with a goal is not worth celebrating to me the result is poor and their performance was also not good, with the kind of players the Super eagles of Nigeria has they are not suppose to struggle to win Rwanda that means it will be impossible for them to win South Africa.

You're right, I think many of us think in the same direction, if they couldn't win Rwanda very well as we expected there's no need of congratulating those guys, i know I congratulated them but thats not what it really meant in my mind, I just did that so that it will not look as if no one gave them kudos, am not really happy seeing super eagles struggling to win national teams that doesn't equal their strength, just as you said I will be very happy to congratulate them and may be run some bottle of red wine with my friends if they outshine our south African brothers.

As I have also said, I have lost hope that Nigeria will be in the next World Cup. But the win yesterday rekindled our hope of making it to this big tournament. The biggest game will be on Tuesday against the Bafana Bafana. A win will give us the boost to keep fighting for the top position and will also give us hope to join the best loser, who will join in the playoff. The challenge we now have is the absence of Victor Osimhen. But there are still good players on the ground to give the South Africans a good fight.
