South Africa still remains leader of Group C as they beat Lesotho away from home 0-3, they now have 16 points from 7 match to its just 3 matches left to play. In beer doubted them today, I expected them to win, I gambled on them to win and they delivered. This South African team have always find way to score goals, they make scoring looks easy that because they always create a lot of chance when they play.

On Saturday the Super Eagles will host Rwanda and some of the players if not all have arrived at the camp but there's one player I don't know if he can be up to speed was invited, Ademola Lookman. He hasn't been in action for quite sometime now with his club since he was to make a move to Inter who showed interest with other EPL clubs but the deal to make a move collapsed and I wonder if the coach of the Super Eagles will still include him, because we have some other guys who have been battling since the beginning of the season who can take his spot, is it wise to start Ademola Lookman ahead of the others who have been in action in the clash against Rwanda?

This is a clash the super eagles needs to win if they want to keep their hopes of qualifying in the World Cup alive. Nigeria have always find it difficult in beating Rwanda, their last 4 fixtures have been 2 draw and each side win 1 each. The last time Rwanda visited Nigeria they won 1-2 so this time around the super eagles need to deliver on home soil.

I don’t think Ademola lookman will start or even be part of the match on Saturday, there are played who have been actively playing in the club side so they deserve to start ahead of someone who have not play in a competitive football for months. Lookman is a key player in the squad but i think it going to be difficult for the coach to make the decision to start him over others.

I’m really anticipating this fixture because Rwanda are a very tricky side and they really need at least a point to keep their qualifying hopes alive. Nigeria need nothing but 3 points so both countries have a lot to fight for.

Now why is it like that? We caused it, the Super Eagles likes to play under pressure which is not good for a national that have better players and sometimes I just see the Super Eagles as the 3 Lions of England, too much similarities, over hyped players who do better in their club side but perform poor as a national team. Well this game is in their hands, win all and qualify and maybe start using calculator, is now a tradition to do so.
What I think is, there are players who have already gotten a spot in the national team and it doesn't matter if you play in your club or not, you have that space to play in the national team. As long as Lookman is invited there's a possibility that he might play, now past events on what he has done can make him play and he can also deliver. My concern is for them to go out there and play like they are already losing by a goal to nil and if they score they should keep on pressing to get more goals, that will make there opponent fear to play a comfortable game.

Victor Boniface was not called up for this international break this is not unconnected to his present state as you know he is not too fit as he failed a medical in AC Milan even though he made a final minute move to weirder Bremen , I don't think that he is too fit for this crucial world cup qualifiers so the coach did the right thing by not calling him up for this games.

Boniface debunked the statement about him being unfit, don't forget that AC Milan didn't give out full information regarding the player failing medical. I don't know to believe, AC Milan medical teams or the player who owns his body and knows whether he is fit or unfit. The club he went for on loan also conducted medicals on the player and he passed, how do we explain this part.

In this regard I only assumed the AC Milan are not interested in him again but they don't know how to discard him that's why they use that tactics. Honestly i was feeling so bad after he was rejected because I don't want him to end as a free agent, is still have a lot to offer in the football life we have to be given opportunity. I applause him when he answered the question from his interview, when I saw the video, I was happy that he answered with confident because I don't really know why people are curious to know more about something that is even hidden. We should just thank god that he has been received by another club and by the way AC Milan did not bring out any statement regarding is medical failure. If Nigeria won't win this game then theirs is gone and I am not against the Super Eagles but I doubt if they will win the game because their performance in the qualification stage is not encouraging fans to believe them again. Rwanda is not a strong team for the Nigeria Super Eagles but if Benin Republic could beat Nigeria, then I don't have confidence on them again. But tomorrow the both teams will prove themselves.
I didn't watch today Benin Republic match against Zimbabwe but Benin Republic has proven that they can do average performance this tournament.

Good news for South Africans, bad news for Nigerians and the Super Eagles. We are saying the same thing now. I actually dragged your attention to coaches who did well with the Super Eagles and you agreed with me before you write them off since you previously said only the white coaches are qualified to manage the team. Well, you shouldn't be expecting that all the individual NPL coaches should do well, when they become the Super Eagle coach. Even the well known football countries dont usually perform that good. Only few and its because if the quality of players they have in the squad.

The reason I prefer the white coaches is due to their ability to curb the excesses and indiscipline of the so-called big players in the squad unlike some of the indigenous coaches who seem to be licking the feet of the European based players because of their influence over the coaches.  Do you remember what played out between victor Osimhen and coach Finidi George?, all these and many more are the reasons why a white coach is always the much preferred choice for the Eagles.

Victor Boniface was not called up for this international break this is not unconnected to his present state as you know he is not too fit as he failed a medical in AC Milan even though he made a final minute move to weirder Bremen , I don't think that he is too fit for this crucial world cup qualifiers so the coach did the right thing by not calling him up for this games.

So you actually believe the media that AC Milan decided to abandon the move for Boniface because he is not fit? Personally I don't; I feel it is just an excuse to blow off the deal. If they really wanted him, fitness is something that can be worked on and improved, but I think they had other plans.

Bayer Leverkusen didn't force AC Milan to buy Victor Boniface from them; AC Milan willingly shown interest to sign Victor Boniface, and they can change their mind if they feel that Victor Boniface wouldn't help them win matches. I believe AC Milan didn't cooked up a false story that Victor Boniface failed his medical so that they wouldn't sign him this season. If AC Milan change their mind not to sign Victor Boniface, don't blame them because it is clear that if a player fails his medical, the club where the player undergoes the medical will automatically pull out from the deal.

I don't know why the super eagles always needs miracle to qualify for world cup tournament or african cup of nations tournament all the time. Rwanda want to play in next year world that will take place in the United States, and they are showing big progress to qualify for next year world cup tournament. For Rwanda to collect 8 points after playing 6 matches in Africa world cup qualification, i agree that Rwanda isn't going to be an easy game for the super eagles, and the super eagles needs to be at their best if they want to defeat Rwanda and have a chance of qualifying for next year world cup.

I don't think we have hope of meeting up with South Africa, i don't expect their remaining games to go badly for us to meetup. After the match against Rwanda today, Nigeria will be facing South Africa, and this will be our only hope of delaying South Africa from adding more points from where they are now.

Our Super Eagles player made this qualifying stage difficult for themselves, the amount of draw we had in the past matches was enough to put us in better position, at least with a step forward of winning South Africa would have decided our position in the World Cup. You don't need to underestimate the rest Nigeria players on the field, because Osimhen has been injured doesn't mean that Nigeria wouldn't be able to win Rwanda. Iwobi is the only player that has taken a good shot on target and I believe that the super eagles are capable of winning this match.

We have Lookman on the pitch, Nigeria is dominating the match and looking for a way to break the deadlock. The first half is over and it was a goalless draw. I believe that Nigeria will be able to get all three points in this game. However, I didn't bet on Nigeria.

I agree with you, looking at the way they are playing currently against Rwanda, they've been struggling the whole of the first half, their talisman man victor osimhen just got injured and has been taken off. Looking at the remaining matches they have, I don't think they will win all of them. Let's just go home and wait for another world cup, but for this one, we've missed it, no matter how well we calculate this time, it will not land the super Eagles anywhere.
