Nigeria needs more goals before they can be qualify for the match, but now south africa has already scored 2 goals, it will be difficult for Nigeria to qualify, despite that Nigeria has already scored 2 goals by Victor Osimhen, I think more goals is coming from Nigeria side, but for Nigeria to be qualify, it lies on the performance of Rwanda, because if Rwanda draw the match and Nigeria score more than 3 goals , that means Nigeria will lead, but a situation whereby Nigeria end with 2 goals that means South africa is still leading, because by point South africa is leading and by goal aggregate, South is also leading.

All Nigerians need now is a miracle in the game between South Africa and Rwanda. The Nigerian Super Eagles are doing everything possible to score more goals. And are currently leading by three goals to nothing. But all we want now is for Rwanda to come back from two goals down to get at least a draw. We missed Victor Osimhen in the game against South Africa; we would have won that game.

What you're missing is that South Africa are winning their game right now and are 18 points, we're 17 points. We needed South Africa to draw or lose to qualify but that's not longer possible.

Lastly we can't qualify through playoff either. We're going home after the match.

@Africolo, I know that South Africa must lose or draw for we to top the group. I also know that as second, we could be entitled for play off. What do you mean by "We can't qualify through playoff". Is it that playoff is not available or you don't believe Super Eagles can qualify through play off because they don't play good football. Please clear the air.

Nigeria is leading Benin Republic with 2 goal difference now. But I think we still have to play some matches before qualification. I do not know.

This match is becoming sweet and I can hear the echo of the Nigerian supporters team hailing the team for the great turnout after so many people had lost hope that the Nigerian super eagles might not qualify for this tournament. Great goal, great team, great coach and great country. This is one of my favorite match so far and I hope to see spectacular improvement from the eagles. Probably they are going to take Nigeria to a very great height that will make other countries to be marvelled about the skills imbedded in the super eagles.

Well, I was wrong. I decided not to watch the match believing that Nigeria will still play lackadaisically as usual. I was surprised when I started hearing voices from outside, I decided to see the Livescore and saw that Victor Osimhen scored an early goal as assisted by Chukwueze. I was also not excited to watch, not untill after like 30 mins, I heard another shouting and I checked and Victor Osimhen has braced.

Right now, I cannot say that I am happy until someone confirms to me that second people can also qualify for the world cup. How many teams will qualify, one or two? If one, will there be any play off between seconders?

Victor Osimhen is the man of the match and he has been playing quite well since the beginning of this match. I am so happy to see his performance cheering the expectations of so many Nigerians that took their time to go watch the match at the stadium with high turnup.
Yea, people don't need to be happy for now because their is more to this match. We don't know if Benin republic could score the Nigerian team for now and that's why people don't have to over jubilate and wait till the end of the match. I wish the Nigerian team the best in this match.

The match has not ended but we need to keep it up. There is still second half but I wish us to score more and qualify for world cup. Nigerian players are doing well.

We are winning the match, the Super Eagles are performing very well and victory is secured. South Africa spoil the whole fun, they are already winning against Rwanda, and it doesn't look favorable for Rwanda to equalize. South Africa finally are the ones to qualify, Nigerians will be sitting second and Benin who had the earlier lead to finish third.

Osimhen doing wonders, hattrick in the game and more to come because he doesn't seem to stop pressing. This was the exact spirit we needed at the very beginning, if the Super Eagles attack were more like this, we wouldn't be dragging for qualification, the many draw we had killed us.

With the way the Super Eagles were struggling in the World Cup qualifiers, I never believed the Super Eagles would win against Benin even though they were playing on their home soil, but when Victor Osimhen scored two goals for the Super Eagles, I was so happy, but my happiness was cut short when South Africa doubled their lead, because there is no way Rwanda will hold South Africa to a draw in the second half. It's over for the Super Eagles because they will finish second in their group.

On a normal day, Benin shouldn't be a threat to the Nigerian Super Eagles, but it's only because of our inconsistence in playing that has made us stand in such position we are today, but as a concluding part of it, am so elated that at least this turned a victory match on us, because we are already qualified by leading with 3:0 and they seem not to be more coordinated for any chances of winning against the super eagles, congratulations to Nigerians and the Super Eagles for bringing us this far to qualify for world cup, even as the match never ends, we are still more positive that it's a done deal victory already.

Osimhen is on fire in this match. He is enjoying his moment on the field. He started the first half with an early goal and did the same in the second half. This will be a big shock for Benin because they felt that they have already qualified but they game turned against them.

Osihmen is on fire up front. He's shown his class twice and out Nigeria up by 2 goals. The assist for the second goal by Chukwueze is a very fine one. Nigeria dominated Benin in every angle this first half. I see they are prepared to finish second if South Africa ends up defeating Rwanda who they're leading with the same margin as Nigeria. Nigeria is waking up now in good performance. I still have a problem with the Nigerian wingers, if they can be as proactive as Osihmen up front. Nigeria would have more goals in this second half.

South Africa is currently winning by 3-0; it's all over for the Super Eagles. We failed to take the beginning of the qualifiers seriously and we have paid dearly for it. The Zimbabwe game was our undoing. We were almost winning the game until that defensive blunder that made it to end in a draw. If we had gotten that three points, we would have been on our way to the World Cup.

This is the table for the playoffs/ second placed teams and we're not even in top 5 we have only 17 points   (all the teams that finished in 2nd place ( playoff table)

Had it been that Victor Osimhen was present during the last match with South Africa, maybe it could have turned a victory match for Nigeria as well, but as they will have it this time, Benin are paying for the cost of the Nigerian Super Eagles previous losses, what an opportunity in making it all a winning match for Nigeria as they needed it mostly and they are having it softly, I hope they cap the three goals to 5 as a rounding figure.
