So far I haven't seen any special team among the top African countries that are the favourite to win this competition this year, because Morocco that are the host are not doing exceptionally well as expected on paper or in the media, they have performed pretty fine like Nigeria, Egypt, Algeria and ivory coast, but I believe that as the tournament goes by, most top teams will continue to improve and play better than they are doing now, but regardless of that, if the Morocco team fails to win this year afcon, then it would be a great disappointment to their nation because they seems like the highest ranking African team presently, and with the fact that they came out fourth in the immediate past world cup, so they also need to exactly that dominance in African football if they are truly good as they think, that's why people will really be disappointed in them if they fails to win it this year.

Going by what I have observe in this competition, I can boldly say you're right on what you said in your first paragraph, the top teams you listed here can actually win the competition but we can single out any of them that can do it considering their performance at the moment, but i must be sincere, I like it this way, the games are very much interesting to me, I don't like a situation where a competition will be like a particular team will be the favourite to win the title, the competition should be more strong, so that if it happens that any team win at the end, such team will know that they merited it not a kind joke.
There's nothing like great disappointment, mate this is a competition, it is not a most that the host nation will win it, I understand your point, yea it is there football pitch which they are supposed to have mastered by now but the fact is that, other teams also came prepared, so they will encounter stronger opposition, in the next round, they will not find it easy because that's when the main football will start.

The last match of Group C interested for three teams left Uganda, Tanzania and Tunisia get one place for runner up position, actually Group C only Nigeria already qualifying to next round based one points achieving Tunisia have bigger chance to accompany Nigeria to qualify for the next round because has 3 points than Uganda and Tanzania get one points.
Uganda team possibility qualify to next round if can beat Nigeria must waiting the match result between Tanzania vs Tunisia, based the points achieving I think Tunisia have bigger chance get next round spot just playing draw against Tanzania or get three points automatically will secure the next spot place. The Super Eagle team just need one points only get top position but greatest achievement if can win 3 matches in a row at group phase by defeating Uganda.

That shouldn't be the case, we have so many players around the world that players for bigger sides but this very guy can't be a threat to the Eagles in this encounter, we should see this as one of those headlines on paper and the net h. For me I think the Eagles should make sure of getting something productive in this game and not to lose it if not they are going to give the Uche Ikpeazu a chance to say more things after this game, the Super Eagles need to shut him up completely without him seeing anything close to a goal or an assist.

The Tanzania team didn't have to win this Tunisian side convincingly to progress to the knockout stage of the competition, right now they have only one point, while the Tunisian team have three points, so if Tanzania can win by a single goal to nil or by any slight margin, they will progress to the round of sixteen because they will have four points after the game, while the Tunisia team will remain on three points, so their is no much mathematics there to be done, but it's very unlikely that the Tanzania team can pull off a shocker and win this Tunisian team.

Right now the game has already kicked off, they are still playing goal less on 32 minutes of play while the Tunisian team are the better side so far, but i wouldn't be ruling anything out because football can be unpredictable sometimes.

Some names am even hearing from the squad is very strange to me, maybe Éric Sékou Chelle featured a combination of second players and the prominent players since Victor Osimhen is among. Contrary to what a lot of people were saying that since Nigeria has qualified for the round of 16 that they won't take Uganda match seriously but here they are still showing professionalism.

Tanzania match against Tunisia is still in a goalless draw, Tunisia can still win before full-time but i expect a tough game because if Tanzania narrowly win Tunisia it means they will qualify so both teams are being very careful in this match. Tunisia is stronger but the table can still turn in favor of Tanzania.

Uche Ikeazu is facing a lot of difficulty upfront as Calvin Bassey is strongly tackling him. The Super Eagles have been able to lead 1-0. But one thing I noticed about the squad is the fact that, some Super Eagles players like Paul Onuachu and some other players that haven't played in the first two games have been featured in this encounter, at least to help warm their legs preparing them for the battle ahead.

Both the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Tunisia are winning their matches 1-0 each at halftime; this justifies your predictions that both of them will qualify for the next round of the tournament, which is the round of 16.

I am impressed with the Super Eagles of Nigeria's performance in this tournament; they are about to finish the group stage undefeated and with a 100% record if they win this match against Uganda, which I am sure they will because they dominated the entire first half of the game and have the ability to score more than two goals in the second half because they have good players on the bench that can come in and help the team to score more goals, and we know that Victor Osimhen is still there hungry for goals, and he might also score.

I think we can now say that the Super Eagles of Nigeria are among the top teams capable of winning the AFCON this season.

They are showing signs of more stability now under the new and I think that accounts usually for their success because earlier during the World Cup qualifiers the Super high goals were in search of a coach for the team, and that must have affected them. I think they now well understand Eric Chelle's playing pattern. Francis Uzoho is the Super Eagles goalkeeper for the game, a clean sheet will be good for his confidence just in case it is required of him to be the goalkeeper in an important game in this competition. I like what the  coach has done, I will like it more if he can make sure to take off Victor Osimhen early enough in the game.

I expected that performance from the Super Eagles because I know they want to keep their unbeaten record. The Super Eagles is the only team that have qualified for the round of 16 with 9 points, honestly that's impressive. I couldn't even watch the match because I knew the Eagles would do everything possible to win against Uganda, because they're one of the best teams with experience players in this AFCON.

The knockout stage is going to be tough but if the Super Eagles are consistent like they were in this group stage, they will find it easy to progress to quarter final. Sometimes it's the Eagles unseriousness that makes fans lack confidence in them, If not I don't see any country in Africa challenging them when it comes to football.

Nigeria is doing very well in this African cup of nation competition they are showing their best and they are very United I'm so happy for the super eagles this is what I expected from them because they have very good players, there's nothing stopping us from winning the Africa cup of nation this year, we were unable to qualify for the world cup because of lack of seriousness, we did not show seriousness in the beginning stage and that was why we could not qualify, Nigerian players are doing their best even though the government or NFF is not trying for them in teams of payment. Wonderful performance today and a great win. We move to the next stage of the competition.

Oh what a wonderful performance today by our boys, the super Eagles and The coach really showed he knows his onion, atleast almost all the boys he came with for the Afcon have tested what it’s like to play in the AFCON.
Victor Osimhen really showed Class and carried himself as a real captain today, the fact is he does it normally but today with the armband was special.
The goal Keepers of Uganda all left with something, we are Cheerful givers we give to all freely, one goal, one red card and two goals respectively. I think this is the first match I’m watching that all three goal keepers was used.
Samuel Chukwueze was impressive with his dribbles and pass accuracy he’s getting better but I think he should work seriously on his Corner Kicks and Free kicks.

Very easy win for Nigeria. Uganda was trying to defend the goal they managed to score so that they could feel welcome to the AFCON because they hadn't won a game in this competition so far.

Erich Chile should be applauded for today's win. I didn't expect him to bench some key players and yet win this game with such a margin. We can all attest that he is doing very well in this competition.

History was broken today as far as I'm concerned because I've not seen in a game where three keepers are brought into a game yet hey lost woefully and also, it's the first time in recent years that Nigeria has been able to get 9 points from three games in the AFCON competition, something that teams like Egypt, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Cameroon or even the hosts Morocco couldn't do. For me the game was relatively easy from the onset. Uganda were seemingly helpless against a well formed defense and coordinated front line of Nigeria and it wasn't a surprise that they found it hard to often get into the 18 yard box of the Super Eagles without meeting a wall or block.

I feel that if the Super Eagles continue like this, they would succeed better and may even be strong candidates to lift the trophy at the end.

I don't want to believe the Super Eagles didn't give their best. They did. We didn't qualify because of the crucial points we lost during Olise's time as head coach. If we had started the qualifier with Eric Chelle, I'm sure we wouldn't have thrown away those first three matches and would have qualified. Well, it's behind us now. The boys can atone for not qualifying for the World Cup by bringing the AFCON trophy home. We are tired of being runner-up.

I'm so proud of the Super Eagles, they are been very very impressive and I can say for sure, they will go beyond the knock out stage if they continue with this form of theirs as seen so far,  I am very optimistic and hopeful that they win this AFCON trophy, it's been while since  they last won it, Victor Osimhen is doing commendablly well, I just wish for the to win the trophy this time, it will crown all his efforts for the team so far and also add to his career record for achievement.  I remember last AFCON, he did great but they were just unlucky and then came the world cup qualifiers, this can be an opportunity for them to make up for all of the other falls.
